Welcome to Horseland, a lovely farm with stable set in a landscape of rolling hills, grassy meadows and a distant blue mountain range. Here at Horseland you can board your horses and use the outdoor arenas to practice for competitions, and maybe someday even breed yourself a champion!

Wild herds of horses populate the forests and hills nearby, thanks to government protected land preserves. But to keep from overpopulating, young horses will often be brought in from the hills and put up for rehoming here at Horseland. We have such an event today, so come on by!

Horseland FAQ

1.) So who's running this shindig?

The lines for this shop were entirely done by CrystalAngelNeko. For now, events will be run by Ryuukokoro solely or a joint Ryuu/Crystal endeavor.

2.) How can I get some Horseland horses?

We'll be doing a variety of events including sales, games, and eventually customs. Breeding will be possible in the future by trading in points you win from competitions.

3.) What colors do the Horseland horses come in?

They come in all natural horse colors and markings. The colored stripes in their manes and tails are not dyed, that is a natural coloring of these horses. Horseland breeding is based on horse genetics, and that includes the colors in their hair. We'll be using the simplified Quin/The Stable genetic system with one or two additions.

4.) How do I tell the girl horses from the boy horses...?

The same way you do with any other horse! XD

5.) How do I enter competitions? How will they run?

Competitions will run monthly, though we may wait a few months for people to earn new horses before we start one. A horse must be equipped with a saddle and bridle to compete. (There will be events to purchase those.) 1st, 2nd and 3rd place will get a little ribbon to display, and these places will also be awarded points. Points can later be used to buy various items for your horse to wear, special abilities like breeding, and maybe even mutate your horse. @_@

6.) When will breeding season be?

Rather than a breeding season or a waiting list, breeding will be available whenever a player saves up and turns in a certain amount of points gained through competitions. More details on this later.

7.) What's up with the weird genetic string listed with each horse?

You'll just have to wait and see~ (Credit goes to Soli for designing the gene string for her own shop and is borrowed here.)

Befriend a Wild Horse

There are currently six horses in the wild horse paddock. Horseland isn't concerned with funding today, we're just hoping the horses go home with someone who earns their trust.

To see if you can get one of these skittish wild horses to come to you, give the dice a roll!

Rules

-You can only win one horse in this event, though you can try for more than one until you win.
-Some horses are more skittish than others and that will affect how easy they are to tame. See dice listed below.
-Make sure to state which horse you're trying for in your post.
-You can roll once per hour. You can only try for one horse per hour.
