FIRST: You'll need to follow the above link and register an account.

FOURTH: You'll need to sign them up for the correct class.
FIFTH: You'll need to send your fee to this account, if you haven't already. It is 2k per horse per class.

Do you need an item equipped to your horse to enter the competitions?

You need a halter to enter a competition, much like a Kennel leash. The other items are bonuses

And don't worry about spamming the thread; as long as the discussion is related to competitions, I'm fine with some posts

You at least need a Halter Pou, the JollyBall, and medals are stat boosters (from what I understand)

Ravv i have a question, and i know im being uber stubborn on this but i gotta know.

I want my girl to have all the possible help she can have with items..however i dont like the way the jolly ball looks on the cert..is it possible to equipp it to her without really putting it on her cert >.>

Hunni: Jollyball is sad XD I guess I could add it as a small "icon" on the ID/Owner/etc paper on the cert, rather than an actual physical object? I need it to be on there somewhere, though, or I'll lose track of everything.

Is there a reason horse edits can only be made once every 30 days? I'm trying to edit my horses pics because they have new items for the competitions.. will that effect anything?

The 30 day rule is to keep people from changing their horses' speciality classes every week. I can manually update the new images for you, though.

There's no downside to a specialization, so I don't see why anyone wouldn't want one... It gives you a free extra point in one class and doesn't affect the others at all. Really, I'm not sure if there's an option to *not* choose a specialization, since I didn't think anyone wouldn't want to. Just out of curiosity, why don't you want specializations?

and what if we know nothing, and I mean nothing about coats?  Would it be best to post for others to help me pick one first?

1) Either way. PM or the "Welcome to 2010!" thread are equally acceptable.
2) You could ask for suggestions from others, or just search on Google images and give me a reference photo (if the tag is gold). There's also a pretty basic genetics page on our website.
3) As long as her foal has been born, she is fine to compete now.
