~Okibi Caballi~ Auction Over

The Okibi Caballi was a shop started many years ago, and it's come a long way. I can't count the number of hours of my life I've spent hunched over a laptop coloring these lines. I've gone from three basic templates to seven, added mutations and markings from many friends who've helped me with the art, and I've even used the Okibi to raise money when my cat needed an operation! And now the next milestone has occurred: There are now over 1,000 colored Okibi in existence. It's funny to be so attached to some lineart you didn't even draw yourself originally, but you know what? I really love this shop. ^_^

Say hello to Mr. 1,000, the 1,000th Okibi! And the only traditional drawn Okibi. (There might be another if we ever reach 2,000!) This is a handsome male of the Normal breed, happily swishing his tails as he shows off for you fine folks. He doesn't have any mutations, but he will be colored however the winner requests! You can ask for s-genes, Unique Markings, animal or character mimic, etc. It will be done in colored pencil, not in photoshop, and then scanned.

NOTE: This is definitely not how the final Okibi will look in quality! I just took a quick shot with my cellphone camera because I didn't want to haul out my giant scanner tonight and then put it away again, and then haul it out again next week after I finish coloring the Okibi. The final product will definitely be scanned and won't look this dark or fuzzy.

Sorry I was not here for the ending of the auction! Of course the store was out of the thing I wanted to pick up for Mother's Day last night, so I had to go out this morning and track a copy down. (Game of Thrones season 1, whoo!)
