The time has finally arrived, importing shall commence at long last! But first I need to know what certs you want you're Siren to be on, which will be the main purpose of this thread beyond updating you on importing status. Please try to keep thread chatter to a bare minimum so that it is easy to see your forms.

Please Note: I am giving this thread two weeks from now to run for you to make certing choices, if after two weeks you have not made you're choice, you're siren will be randomly assigned certs. Forgive me for doing this, but I want to get these imported as soon as possible, and I need to upload them in order.

All currently owned Siren except for some that Sunny colored can be found in the photobucket owners folders here: http://s1291.photobucket.com/user/SleepingOcean/library/Owners%20Folders?sort=3&page=1
Because of photobuckets absolutely rediculous new layout, you'll have to open the "owners folder" label on the left sidebar and find you're screen name there. If you are having trouble opening you're folder, PM me and I will send you a link to it.

Please use the following forms, please pay close attention to what each form is for to make this as easy as possible.

Regular Form
For siren that already have Agency ID # and names

Certing Choices

Coral Reef:
Brilliantly colored fish flash between the tendrils of bright anemones in warm, tranquil waters off the coast of the Island of Two Moons. There is nothing to worry about here-except perhaps an ambush by a singing crab.

Surface Tension:
In the murky shallows of a chilly bay, not even the summer sun can fully warm the waters-but the Siren and others venture here to collect little treasures left behind by humans. Broken bottles, bits of netting, and occasionally with any luck a peice of jewelry lost by a swimmer.

Deep Water:
Wan shafts of light filter through the opening of this underwater sanctuary, dark, quiet, with only the sound of distant whalesong for company-you may decide weather you find its shadows comforting or threatening.

I have a question, will the Siren's names be going on the actual cert, or just in the agency profile page? If just in the agency profile page, which form should we use to keep the Siren unnamed (as Name Me) or should we just out name Me as the name?

Names will definitely not be going on the certs, I'm mostly hitting two birds with one stone here by letting people name/choose certs so that I and those that will be helping with the importing can do everything at once (since I don't have my naming item drawn and coded yet XD) but if you just want a Siren to be listed as "Name Me", then its ok to use the regular form and just put "Name Me" in the Name spot ^^

ETA: Sorry about that Lectral! The shell custom stuff hasn't made it into the photobucket yet, Sunny colored them and I should have in retrospect given her access to the photobucket x.x

Thanks Bun! For me it's a matter of.. wanting to "get to know" my Sirens and let them tell ME their names lol If that makes sense. Shy creatures that they seem to be, it's taking them some time to 'trust" me hehe

And ohh holy smoke I didn't realize I had so many (going on numbers alone) 10 I see in my folder! And.. I dunno if I have any that are not in the folder. Do I pm Sunny to ask or do you have that info in a list somewhere?

I know how you feel Kadana, I have quite a few (Mostly those I used for mutation examples that I've kept for myself simply because I fell in love with them as I was doing them) but whom haven't decided to tell me their names yet! Elusive creatures, certainly, but worth it in the long run to have a name that "means" something to them.

I'll root around and see if there are any missing! Sunny is very busy at the moment I think, but I'll dig through the old threads and let you know ^^ Hard to believe how many Siren there are already isn't it? Over 100 owned already and that's not even everything that needs to be colored.

Sorry I missed you're post Kadana! Yes you may have extra time if I don't find them all. I'm going to try to post links to everything sunny has done and get them uploaded today.

Importing has now begun, but I'll still give time for those of you who want to pick certs. If you have low numbered siren and have not picked certs, I may poke you by PM to just tell me your preference without filling out a form so that I can get them up.

I have some importing woes, however, my Siren are the first...ahem, victims...of importing, and poor Sindha and Atrata do not seem to be appearing. Can anyone check them for me? I was also downloading a rather large file for an MMO at the same time, which in retrospect, was probably a stupid idea.

Its definitely the .png, I keep the PSD's seprately. When I try to update the image, it doesn't seem to want to update, either, and I'm no longer running my other download x__x

Grab there system ID
so for Sindah it is 561359
Update critter info and use that system id

you can put in a file for getting there image up, I would suggest maybe altering the png file name if it won`t show up for you

That's exactly what I've been doing to try to replace the image PM, and its still not showing at all x_x I'll try changing the file name itself instead.

I've had that problem before when i was importing all the Gliders, but i can't remember why $:-\$ Updating the image the way PM said always worked for me though.

I tried changing the file name, and it still wont update the images, I don't understand why DX Its very strange. I've never had this kind of trouble when updating images for CDA

1.30 MB, which seems off because pan is the same exact image size, abeit the cert is different which is probably why.

For uploading/certing purposes, if you have the hard drive space for it, perhaps keeping a copy of all Siren PSDs could be helpful, especially if you release more of those amazing backdrop designs. With a raw PSD, you can just turn off one layer to change around backdrops (or add/remove them) with ease.

And my apologies if you've already taken this into account. I'm just astounded by how many adoptions I've encountered who delete their adoptable PSDs or just save over them as flat PNGs, which makes re-certing or removing certs difficult. Well organized PSDs are amazing tools. ^^
