Gryphions: Welcoming our new Additions! -- Wildfilly and Country pick ups

[Gryphions]

A familiar gryphion shouts with excitement.
"Everyone gather around! We've got big news!"


"Isn't this all so exciting!" she exclaims.
"Oh, I forgot to tell you what's so exciting! The gryphion council has sent me to tell you all about the new members of the council!"

She practically dances around on her feet with excitement.

"Well, I guess I should tell you who they are!" She grins.

"Congrats to Country and Bunraku! They are the new council members! They'll be helping to find and distribute gryphions who need homes. We are excited to have them!"


Raina smiles, but yelps suddenly.
She looks angerly to her tail to see a small purple blur run behind her back. You can hear a sing-song tweet, almost a chuckle.
"Ouch! My tail! You bit me!" Raina yells as she runs in a circle trying to catch the fast purple blur.
Eventually Raina pounces on the smaller purple thing. You finally can make out what it is.
The little gryphon is about the size of a german shepherd. She grins and laughs.

"This is... a woodland gryph... She's pretty mischievous. Actually, they all are."

She manages to get out from under Raina's paws and stands herself up.



Another small gryph, similar in size, bolts out of nowhere and runs in circles around the purple gryph.

"STAY STILL!" Raina yells as she chases after him. The little yellow woodland gryph jumps and stands next to the purple gryph. He grins mischievously.



"Woodland gryphs tend to make messes of things. The council wanted me to inform everyone to take caution if you form a bond with them. They're a handfull." Raina says.

The two woodland gryphs start to chase each other around.

"They've been known to tamper with files and documents... sometimes they'll play a trick on users who have ordered customs. They'll change things around, and sometimes a woodland gryph will accidentally pop up instead of a different type of gryph. Sometimes things happen like this and we don't catch it in time, so... you all have been warned!"

She grabs the two smaller gryphs by the tails and drags them toward her.
"If anyone ever spends USD on a custom, though, we take extra special care to keep those out of the hands of woodland gryphs, so no need to worry about them tampering with those!"

This purple gryph is looking for a friend that is just as playful as she is. Give us a picture of a pet (real or secundi pet) that is playful. Give us a personality blurb. Tell us what they'd do together. You must post a picture of your pet here (don't stretch the page!) and a blurb by April 13th at 09:00. We'll then figure out who she'll go home with.




Design a Gryph
Draw a picture of a woodland gryph (or any breed). We'll pick some of the best designs to be made into real gryphions. Not sure how many we'll do, it depends on how many enter this contest.
We are looking at both artistic ability and design, but the design is most important.

Strife can come to play?



A bit of vibrant blur fluff and fur streaks in, knocking over chairs and spilling drinks before pouncing playfully upon the little purple girl and chittering happily.  "Strife!  Calm down, ohh you're making such a mess, please watch where you're going!"  Jumping behind the purple girl Strife attempts to hide, poking his head out and peering around bashfully at everyone, seeing the mess he just made he ducks his head shamefully hiding his face against the purple neck before him.  "Oh you!  You know I can't stay mad at you"  Tucking long red hair behind her pointed hears the elf quickly sets about cleaning things back up.  "I'm so sorry folks, he's such a sweetheart, he really doesn't mean to cause any problems!  Trouble just.. seems to follow him wherever he goes.."  With a sad shake of her head she turns and smiles at her Strife "Oh go on then, have fun and play with your new friend, just.. try to be careful!"  Hearing her words Strife perks back up, prances circles around the purple girl then takes off running wildly about the room attempting to get her to chase him.

This, is Armani, AKA: Ninja Kitty. Armani is a holy terror times 100. He makes messes, tears things up, shreds shower curtains, toilet paper, and my legs all in the name of curiosity....or because there is a green frog in the bathroom >_> He is super sweet, super lovable and super annoying. I spend more time cleaning up after him than I do loving on him. I think he could use a friend, someone who is more his speed, and I think lil miss purple up there would be his ideal playmate. They both unintentionally wreak havoc and leave a path of destruction in their wake. BUT! That being said, maybe, just maybe, it might save my shower curtains, toilet paper, and most importantly my legs from his razor sharp, ninja kitty claws of doom!
