It's no problem in fact I'm impressed XD

I too looked into getting a cattle dog before I adopted Violet, my father had a couple as a kid (though he never had much to do with them, always says they were working dogs not pets) and my childhood dog was (well is he's old but he's still kicking) part cattle dog... In the end I was put off because I read that they tend to be dominant with other dogs and I was worried about aggression towards my existing dog... so I bought my German Pointer x mastiff mix Violet and (just shy of 12 weeks old, figured she was behavioural problem free) her first act upon meeting my father was to run up and bite him on the behind... She was fear aggressive towards men wanted to bite every man she saw... Point of the story maybe I should have adopted a Cattle dog mix from a shelter lol but I still love my dog and she doesn't try to bite every man she sees now.

Sorry for rambling but a tiny puppy leaping up and biting a man on the butt is too funny an image not to share... even though it was a really bad thing at the time they get on well now XD

Edit: I should probably point out she still had her milk teeth at the time so no harm was done to my father.

Lol, and you never really know how they are going to behave until you get them home. And pictureing a little puppy doing that makes me think of my dads dog and how horrible he STILL is >.>

Prime example: We have three Rat Terriers, or Terrors as I like to call them. One male, two females. THe male is the father of the two females and he is a grumpy, territorial lil thing. The two girls, one of them is psychotic, and very twitchy, she can be territorial if the mood strikes her. The other would just as soon sit on you and lick you to death. There isn't an aggressive bone in her little body, unless she feels the need to protect one of us.

When I brought the male home, he was a teeny tiny little puppy. The previous owners called him Rambo. I should have taken that as a hint, but I didn't. we get him home, he is less than a foot tall at the shoulder, like I said, tiny little thing. But he makes up for his size with his attitude....and then some. It was just after Thanksgiving when I got him, he was for myy dad, his last Coon Hound had passed away and he was missing having a dog. My uncle ha this puppy and my dad had taken a liking to him and he gave him to me to surprise my dad with.

Well, mom sets up the Christmas tree. We leave to go get something from the store and leave him running around the house. He is tiny, how much can he tear up? We come back, and he has knocked over a 7 ft Christmas tree....all on his own. He did that two more times after than and broke all our glass ornaments and ate most of them. He started laying around and sleeping and we thought it had finally taken its toll on him....then we found the chewed up bottle of Nyquil, we still don't know how he managed to get that out of the medicine cabinet.

After that we bought a crate and started crating him whenever we left. We would put a small bowl of food and one of water in there..he would dump them both and eat the bowls. My mom bought a metal bowl, thinking she would outsmart him. We came home and a good deal of one side was gone...to date he has eaten light bulbs (we still have to take blown bulbs out to the dumpster or he will get in the trash to get them), the little hand warmer things, a bottle of Ibuprofen, a bottle of Pepcid AC, a toilet seat, a bathroom door, two sets of mini blinds, numerous bowls and lots of toys.

That Rat Terrier of yours definitely puts my big girl to shame, eating light bulbs? That's incredible I would have thought eating anything made of glass would be fatal I'm glad he survived that. Violet also ate Ibuprofen once when my father left a pack on his bed, or rather she chewed them up and spat them out presumably after the sweet coating wore off and they started to taste awful... I was so freaked out she was just a young thing at the time I remember I called the vet in such a panic XD

A lot of doors with nothing in them were picked this time, this is actually the first time I've done a raffle where some doors contained nothing at all, I'm sorry to those who picked doors with nothing I feel mean... bad Mini Mutt, there'll be more give aways up soon.

As it is now half the remaining doors contain prizes and half do not.

Love the name's submitted so far, I'm going to have a hard time choosing when the time comes I can tell.

Going out on a trip to the lake (or rather a very polluted disused quarry in the middle of a bustling suburb, lake is too nice a word) with my father to get out of the house for awhile in about half an hour but I'll try and get a new give-away up before then, I'm always stumped for ideas when it comes to events.

Lol thanks it used to be a nice place for a swim but not these days, it's so polluted now if people go swimming they often come out with a rash. There's a little creek though thats part of an off leash park though and its in better shape so Violet might have fun.

Sorry for the late reply stayed at the lake for a lot longer than expected... I fell in, but in a really funny way, we'd gone there to catch invasive mosquito fish to feed to our pet turtles so I looped Violet's leash around my waist to free my hands up and she sat on a rock whilst I was trying to net the little buggers... then Dad came over having had no luck where he was and Violet got excited and jumped in, she's so strong that I tried desperately to stay on the bank and I pretty much did a Cleveland Brown impersonation of 'No, no, no, no, no, no...' as I slowly lost my balance as Violet pulled harder and then a defeated 'Oh, in I go' right before I fell, only my legs went in... but I'll soon know how bad the pollution was today by whether or not I get a rash XD

SkySong - it was quite, I never expected falling in mucky water to be such a laugh and it looks like I'm rash free. I must have made this game too easy either that or you are just really good at it because you were right again XD I'll upload her for you.

I'm out of Bobcats now there are still prizes behind the remaining doors, I'll colour up a few more to give out looks like I have time as Violet isn't eating again this morning... my Dad thinks I rush her in to the vets too often but I'm starting to think she has something stuck in digestive system seeing as he thinks she got into the trash.

Hopefully, she's been like this for a few days now she seems to pick up around noon so I'm not sure exactly what's wrong with her but I'm getting very worried.

Well so far you've managed to get pictures of pretty recognizable markings, but if you had picked part of the main body of that foxy then it probably would have been a little harder. And if you gave just one pixel it would be really hard, but at that point I'd just start going through the agency ids. Lol, process of elimination.

Springacres- I agree its been too long, she just ate but she left food in her bowl for a few hours, normally its lucky to last 30 seconds, also cute picture, nothing gets much cuter then baby animals of species that could be predator and prey as adults getting along.

SkySong- That is true the markings were fairly uncommon, I thought they'd be hard especially the second one though with the image being from the tail so it wasn't in the headshot image thought it might require some serious searching XD One pixel would be way too hard, there's almost 230 Untamed out there I'll try again later with a slightly harder one.

Coloured another Bobcat up but I think I'd better call the vet I'm terrified I'm going to lose Violet to whatever is causing her to act so out of character, I'll give this next one away later on today.

It was the shape of the white marking that did it. It wasn't a typical fade and had a fairly distinctive shape. For the previous one it was the eyebrows. Lol. On a more serious note, I really hope Violet is ok! Best wishes from me.

Thanks guys, I took her in almost right after I posted and the vet said Violet either has a foreign object partially blocking her up or she's gotten a stomach bug from something she ate in the trash, so she has some tablets and has to eat chicken + rice for a few days and take it easy for a few days, poor girl can only walk once a day now, the food she loves but the taking it easy she won't. So fingers crossed it is just a bug so she doesn't need to be dragged back to the vets.

Sorry I'm so late, got back from the vets, went for a walk and came home to a note instructing me to cut up and roast a pumpkin and whole bunch of potatoes which took a lot longer than I expected.
