     A sign flaps in the wind as you approach the gated ranch. A dirt road leads to a main house. The sun warms the back of your neck as you go towards it, on either side of the road are fenced pastures with billydogs bleating at you in curiosity, or growling in mock threat. A few just flicks their ears, dismissing you. They are panting, you see there are kennel entrances for the animals to escape into for shade and your worry dissipates.
You finally make it to the cool office building. A black ram in a tacky maroon suit greets you.
"I reckon you got my invite."
    He motions for you to follow him. The back door of the office opens to a sort of outdoors fair. Large white pole tents line a main path.
"Your itinerary." The ram flashes a corny smile big enough to show a golden tooth, before he hands you a pamphlet and goes off to help with the fair. Presumably.

First is the cage labeled Landrece. She looks up at you, wags her tail in a half hearted attempt and goes back to lapping water from her bowl.

Though kennels are not required to own Caprani, there are many advantages to having a kennel! You have more opportunities to be able to breed your Caprani. They will feel safer being in this environment, which will yield more pups.

There are a few requirements:
1)Must have a website or equivalent, like a notary/boarding area post or forum.
2)Must have a place to state kennel rules/goals if any.
3)A place for males and females. Preferably separate. You have free will to categorize your kennel if you want. By breed, for example.
4)A kennel name and prefix
5)A place for records to keep track of Caprani that your kennel has produced is recommended, but not necessary.

Animal Guessing Game!

I have twelve Caprani whose colors and markings borrow inspiration from two animals. There will be a round for each one. To win one, you must guess both animals by using the prompt provided. If it seems no one is guessing correctly, hints will be provided.

The Rules

1.If you win a round, you must sit out the next. But after that you can join in again!
2.You can guess up to three times in separate posts, but must allow three other people to guess before you can submit your next guess.

Tips:On animals that have species with distinct colors and patterns, it is generally better to post the specific species. Don't post 'snake' when the answer is 'cornsnake'. 'snake' is far to general an answer. On the other hand, animals like Zebras don't have extremely distinct pattern/color. Yes, there are visual differences, but not enough for this game.
If you get a breed you don't specialize in, you can always trade it!

The inspiration for this event comes from my grandmother's kennel, who used song names for their dog's show names. For this event, you will do the same. You'll suggest songs or lyrics that will become the capranis show name and I'll create what I think the Capranis would look like based on the song. I will only do the ones that inspire me, everyone will get to suggest one song unless I decide there isn't enough.
I also have a few songs I want to do but don't think people will choose them, and I will give these Caprani away later.


You can do instrumental songs, movie soundtracks, bands from any era, pop songs, classical, opera, dubstep, whatever. It is possible to be inspired by any genre or format. Of course there are things I generally don't get into, such as slow vocal songs, easy listening, songs with little contrast or edge.
I really don't want to say 'don't do this type of song' but keep in mind I have to be able to get idea of color, shapes, and emotion from songs and lyrics, which isn't the easiest thing. But it is fun.
