Ohh and how does Bonus Tickets for trading foals go?  I don't think I've ever claimed one this way before..  I traded 5 foals away this season, but 2 of them went to the same person, does that still count?  Was always a bit confused if it had to be to 5 seperate people or not, but it never relaly mattered much before anyway, now it just might?

It doesn't matter if it's the same person, Kadana, as long as they don't pass the foal on to someone else when it's delivered (i.e. used their claiming slot to get a Quin for someone else).

Ohh sweet, thanks Ryu!  That means (if I remember to claim it lol) next season I shall have a Bonus ticket to use.  Ohh my breeding plans will need more careful attention to planning now!  Or maybe I need to save it for the season after.. I'm not sure when my breeding project will be high enough to breed pure, I always lose track of the percentages.  Well, we'll see what foals I get anyway

I know the season I got Kori, he fathered like, six foals kept, and I traded away five foals I bred which I think are still with the people who claimed them, and posted both forms, and only received one bonus ticket, figured it was because I traded two of them to the same person.

Editing: My other thought was because I had kept one of his foals for myself, though he still made five, not six foals kept. I looked. So I figured it was one of these two reasons that I only got one.

I'm not 100% positive Kah, but I think to get the ticket for a stud breeding, it has to be someone else breeding a mare to him, not you breeding him then trading the foals.  That's how I always understood that part anyway.

*shrugs* My understanding is that the stud must produce the five foals kept by members of the outreach program, which is to say, people like me and you and not sent back through the portal.

.It is also in the interest of the outreach program to encourage quality stock.  Quality studs are a vital part of this equation.  Studs can demonstrate their quality by the popularity of their offspring.  If a stud has demonstrated his quality by having 5 or more of his offspring kept by non-Gavanians in a breeding season, his owner will receive a bonus ticket.  The Gavanian Quinsta Outreach Program officials reserve the right not to award bonus tickets if it appears that  the foals in question were kept by people not otherwise participating in the outreach program, in an effort to help someone receive a bonus ticket. 

So yeah, who knows. One of the kept five was a grade. So maybe he wasn't producing "Quality stock" Though four of the five are still with their original claimers. And one was sent to someone within three days of his claim. So maybe that's another reason I didn't get two.

Kah, the problem with your September stud bonus ticket claim was that Foal #5 was claimed by one person, but was transfered to a new owner within a few days of being uploaded.  Under the new rule (established in the July breeding season on account of people being allowed to trade claim slots), foals that are immediately sold/traded/transfered to new owners may not count towards the bonus ticket total. (Immediately defined as before the start of the next breeding season - roughly a one month period.)

On that note, I am aware that at least a few people have traded claim slots this season as well.  People attempting to claim bonus tickets should verify that foals have/will stay with their original claimers, and if possible include more than the required 5 foals on the form for in case of a traded foal claim.

That sounds like a good plan if you're going to use a traded claim slot.  I've never traded claim slots myself (never had a reason to) but I only claim foals that match the goals I set for a given breeding, so I can avoid claiming foals I don't intend to keep.  The incident where a foal was traded within a few days of uploading... I just never understood why someone would do that.
