Sorry for the delay, I only just saw I was gifted last night.  Sneaky sister!

Pattern: Tortie? (not sure, the vet told me she is a black based calico, but from secundi felines I have come to think she may be tortie shell? not calico.. I dunno

Nose color (dogs only): Pink with black specks (as in pics)
Reference picture(s): I took 12 pictures of her, trying to get her from every possible angle, so that you'd have plenty of views for reference.  Not all pictures should/need to be used in this mimic (like the ones facing wrong for this line art etc) as I do eventually plan to have her mimic'd on all the kitty lines, hence another reason for taking images of every angle

Calico vs tortie is a difficult line, in real life - in both, the cat gets red and black genes (or the diluted versions), but the way they are displayed is the difference.  Generally, calicos have larger, clear patches of black and red, and have to have white, while torties have much smaller, more blended patches of red and black, with little to no white.  At least, no large patches of white over their bodies; torties with white can have white paws, bellies, face markings and neck white.  But the main difference, really, is the size and 'clarity' of the red and black patches.

Your lovely girl, I would call tortie with white - even with the large 'red' patch over her face, the rest of her body is very tortie looking

Thanks Lectral!  And yea, that's what I was thinking (tortie) from my Secundi time hehe  On her papers for the vet she's listed as Domestic Shorthair Black Based Calico.  But she was a stray when I "adopted: her, so I'm not sure how he (the vet) based his labeling decision lol  I don;t mind what she;s called either way, she's just as pretty by any label   but yea, all our other calico's we've owned have had much more white and hardly any black on them.

lol Ryu, she was pretty upset actually.  We've lost her harness, and so she's not been able to go outside for some time.  She finally got out the door, and it was just to sit on River's lap and have her pic taken over and over, then be brought right back in.  Poor Silky, she misses her fresh air

Aww, poor baby! *hugs her* Mine can't stand the harness. I bought one when I moved to the city, so we could go for walks in the little yard next to the apartment building. Kohaku just laid there like a lump when I put the harness on. I carried him outdoors and he laid there like a lump on the grass lol. Not impressed.
