I'm not one who normally celebrates valentines day, but a wee event here will be fun I've got an idea for a new event i'm going to try and i'll run a little find a mate. Also some lovepairs probably so any requests for events, ect please let me know!

The customs in the previous thread are now closed, but i'm still open for USD customs for that price. So if you're interested just send me a pm.

Valetine's pallette event!

This is a semi-custom event with a twist! You will make a little palette of colours that you feel are linked to valentines in some way. I'll be generous with this, as long as at least two of the colours are valentines the others can be any colours.
Your palette may have up to four colours. If you are unable to colour a palette yourself, you can pm me with hex codes and i'll colour one for you.

One per person. The gender will be randomly chosen, but if you wish to choose a gender then you can make a note and i'll go for that gender.

Full Custom Raffle

To enter, please post a filled out custom form in purple. One entry per person. You have until the 15th of April to enter.
You may choose unlimited premade markings and mutations, but not the two bred mutations. These can be found in the information post, which is linked to in the first post of this thread. You may also choose any custom markings you like, but please give good descriptions and referances or your form is less likely to be chosen.

Short description on how your colours are valentine: Pinks are generally categorized in the same category with love and cute and sweet little things. I decided on different shades of pink, since it's one of my favorite colors. (I also tried to add white, but MS Paint didn't let me.) What other way to balance out the pinks is white, neutral and peaceful at the same time.

Short description on how your colours are valentine: Pink and white are of course classic valentines colors, and I thought I'd use the black to represent some of the patterns I've seen on valentines chocolate boxes because many of them use black to set off pale colors. The blue is a simmilar blue to my favorite flavor of those little candy hearts with the messages on them.

Short description on how your colours are valentine: My palette begins with a big Yellow base.  Yellow stands for Friendship, and is the foundation of our (Ali and mine's) relationship.  The second color on my palette is Coral, representing Desire.  I got to know Ali on the internet, we became friends, and I began to feel attracted to him, long before we ever met, or saw pics of each other or even talked on the phone.  He was so smart and funny, and without ever having a visual of him, he drove me crazy with wanting to have him.  The Red in my Palette is for Love and Passion, while the White is for Faithfulness.  I used the yin/yang symbol to "join" the Red and White together, because red and white together symbolize Unity.  I gave the bigger area over to the White, because with us living on opposite sides of the ocean and not getting to see each other often at all, there is an awful lot of trust going on in our ability to remain faithful to each other.  For the little "dots" inside the yin/yang symbol, I decided to let those be yellow as well, because when all is said and done, we probably wouldn't have made it this long/far if not for the very strong friendship we share.

I chose the colors, Ali chose the marking, and he has asked that if you do decide to let us choose genders, can this please be male.  Personally I don't care which gender, but he likes the male lines much better then the female lol

Kadana, that description is really sweet! I love the thought you gave to the symbolism of those countries.
I think for genders i'll go for random, but if you like you can make a note of the choice of gender. So yours is absouloutely fine to be male

Short description on how your colours are valentine: For me, Valentine is not the happiest holiday...I do like the pinks and the flowers and things, but I usually end up alone or things are tight and I can't get anything for anyone and so it kinda ends up being a bit depressing, hence the black....so for me, these colors are Valentine for me.

Short description on how your colours are valentine: I picked a pale cream to represent candles and a warm brown to represent chocolates. Red has always been associated with love and passion to me and the pink color represents rose petals. If you're struggling with the palette it's okay to leave the pink out, I am not sure how well all 4 work together but I liked the meaning of them XD
One request: no spines mutation please (I hope it's okay to request a don't instead of a do, pointy spines just don't really fit a loving theme for me XD)

Personality: Milia is a colorful quirky girl looking for a fun boy, a Glider she can have a good time with because relationships should also be fun and not just serious. She enjoys colors that aren't too dark (although black is an exception and would be fine) or too muted (because greyish colors are dull!) and is hoping for a guy that's pretty unique looking like herself. A mixture of premade and unique markings is always fun, dual markings are also enjoyable, but none of this is mandatory of course. Milia also enjoys ears, feather mutations and tail mutation in a boy's looks (not neccessarily all together, but that would be fine too). She isn't really a fan of Fade Spots, Points Banding and HDapple but other than that she's not very fuzzy on markings/mutations and pretty much anything goes.

Personality: A young male Glider soars above you, the sunlight winking of his multifaceted sides. He comes in to land beside you, while you just stand there in what he takes as awe at his arrival. He's a vain little thing, and madly in love with all things bright and sparkly. His purple eyes bore into you, his gaze is unblinking. He slowly winks at you, and deep in your mind you hear a tiny, but unmistakeable male voice saying "You'll do." You glance around startled, trying to figure out who would be talking to you. You feel a little bubble of laughter welling up inside of you. Thinking you must be crazy. Tiny little lizards just don't normally speak to you in your head. Even winged ones.

You begin to get impressions from this lizard. The first is... Unmistakeably of a female... But something more. You feel that he is lonely, and a female would help keep him warm on those cold winter nights... You're starting to think... Maybe I'm not so crazy. This is just a lonely little lizard thing who needs a companion. He nods, clearly understanding your thoughts. The next thought you get is of... Brightness? And darkness? Could those be colors he's hoping for, for the lady friend he wishes to have? Again a nod. The little lizard, you wish he'd stay out of your head. And again you sense major amusement. So the colors.. Brightness... How to describe this? You think to the critter. A bit of mild annoyance. He's tired of being called a lizard! Of all the... You sense a name finally coming up... Dustin... Then onto the brightness. In your mind is a picture of the sky... A summer day. Bright blue sky, white puffy clouds. A playful breeze puffing along the clouds. The darkness... You're brought from the beautiful summer day to the darkest of nights... Looking to the sky again. The full moon is bright upon your face. The sky isn't black, as you'd think... But almost a midnight blue. Again the amusement. The colors of day and night. His two favorite times of his life. And that amusement from the li... Dustin.

You wonder what she should look like. He looks off into the distance.. And you realize he's coming up with a blank. Though he's vaguely thinking of spines on her back. Something fierce for his lady love! That amusement again. He likes em tough.. And the spines show fierceness whether they look all sweet and ladylike or not.

A side glance at you, and another wink. He's fairly certain he's got it covered and he's coming to you for his lady love. He hopes you can find her. He's so tired of being alone. He longs to fly off into the sunset or sunrise, his lady at his side. Always at his side. A feeling of hope washes over you.

Personality: In his silence, he speaks more than any words could begin to express. His shape is only a dim outline that blends with the perch on which he sits-it could be anything from rocks to the spires of a metropolitan city, but it is no city of this world. The shapes are unclear, and seem to take form only from his own feelings. Darkness. Guilt. Why have you woken me when I've only just found my peace in sleep? the red eyes seem to say, but still he will not speak. As if there are no words in the human language that can express his inner turmoil, the loneliness caused by it.

But there is a light in this darkness, and that light takes the form of a memory. Can you recreate it? Is it even possible that she could still be...no...impossible. He turns away. He dose not want anyone to see in his eyes what he very well knows is in his heart.

The memory...of an angel, such a stark contrast to him. She is purety, she is laughter and warmth...warm, honey brown eyes...beautiful feathered plumesin honey brown to match...and wings, white wings like the angel. She is pale and beautiful, the colors of her body subtle, a rippling of pale pastels on white, like silk, barely there, but present. The gems on her skin gleam like diamonds, and their memory reflects in his eyes as a single tear left un-shed across the centuries.

I'm so sorry... Is all he manages to whisper to the darkness, before turning his head away once more.

Personality: Like her name, Caremella is as sweet and warm as caramel. She's fun-loving and isn't afraid of trying new things. Flying and dancing above the clouds at dusk is her favorite, just as the sun disappears under the horizon. Personality: Heart Breaker sighed as she watched all the cute couples flitting and flying around, enjoying one another's company. How she longed for someone to share the joys of love with. She curled up on the boulder and closed her eyes, sighing again and began to day dream.

A smile slowly crept across her pretty face as she imagened her perfect mate. He would be strong, and handsome of course, he would have bold colors with lots of black like her. She thought she saw some kind of spots, was it leopard? Or make baby Tapir like her, she wasn't sure, since she couldn't really make them out as she imagened him flying quickly through the skies searching for her. She watched as his beautiful tail tuft whipped from side to side as his strong wings beat in a very pleasing manner.

She opened her eyes and shook her head, it was silly of her to dream of such things, she thought as she shifted her weight and resumed watching the others dance through the sky. Maybe one day she would be able to join them and maybe one day her handsom fellow would finally become a reality instead of just a wonderful dream.
