The Information

Tamiko means "child of many beauties"

The Tamiko are an elegant crossing between Deer and Horse. They mostly come in fantasy colours, but natural colours are seen too, though they are not as normal.
The Tamiko like to be social, and they usually don't like to be alone very long at the time.

Natural colours will be uncommon, as will stallions.
Stallions will be at a 1:2 ratio to mares.

Animal Mating Ritual: Cuttlefish are known for their extensive ability to use camouflage by altering the skin cells in their bodies, making them capable of changing their colors instantly depending on the situation they find themselves in. However, male cuttlefish have developed a very clever ability-while displaying a bright pattern on one side of their body to impress the female, tempting her with his colors and patterns, he is also able to fend off rival males by displaying a completely different body pattern on the other side of his body-that of another female, tricking other males into thinking he too is a female, while giving him more time to woo his mate without a confrontation.

Animal Mating Ritual: Giraffes have a seriously weird mating ritual, let me tell you. First, the male nudges the female's rump to induce urination. He then takes a mouthful of urine and if it tastes good to him, he begins to court her. The courting consists of following her around, wrapping his neck around her neck and trying to mount her until she lets him.
Why did you choose this: I love giraffes, I think they are gorgeous and elegant and it's one of my favorite animals. Their ritual is also fairly unique and defenitely one you remember once learning of it, so I thought it was a good fit for this contest.

Animal Mating Ritual: The stags have a rut in the autumn, where they will fight to win hinds. The males will roar to attract hinds and other stags. If the two stags are evenly matched, they will then fight by locking antlers. The top stag will end up with a large hareem of hinds at the end of the rut. (Hope this description is okay, i couldn't think of another way to explain it without going into too much detail)
Why did you choose this: These are an animal that i'm quite familiar with, and it can be very impressive to see them rut. I've never seen a fight close up, but i've heard the sound of stags roaring in the highlands during autumn, which is lovely.

Hi, everyone, Riverwind here! PinkShadow recently recruited me to help out with the Masayo, and one of the things she wanted me to do was finish up the Valentine event. Now, I'm new to this whole thing, and to tell the truth it's quite confusing, so please bear with me while I get these events finished.
