Welcome to YLO's first FCFC event! I am very excited to be part of the team and have done some Franken giveaways in joinme sessions and colored a bit of breedings, but I'd love more practice before I really start doing trades and paid events. Because of this I am doing a free event!

Breed Based Raffle
Because every pose is different coloring the same coat on different breeds can provide a whole new set of challenges! Since I don't collect every breed coloring my own monthly customs only gets me so far

I'd like practice on every lineart, so I'll be giving away one pet of each breed, a total of 20!
This will be raffle based. You can sign up for any and all breeds you're interested in, but you may only win one (unless less than 20 people participate in this event, then you can win a second).

Winners will get a semi custom using the info they filled out. Examples of base coats, patterns and white markings can be found on the website (link is in the first post)

Picture Contest
Coloring something with a certain pattern isn't nearly as hard as trying to perfectly mimic a pet from a picture! I do often pull some reference pictures up so I can easily see what a certain tabby type or something looks like, but I haven't done any pets that are exact replicas of pictures. This seems hardest to me so I'd very much like some practice!

* I am hoping to do one pet per person. It's up to me to decide which pet to mimic.
* You have until January 20 to enter. Because I will probably start coloring pets while the event still runs editing entries is NOT allowed, submissions are final!

Franken FCFC
I've done a few of these in joinme and they've been fun, so I figured we could do some in this thread too. It will be a Slow Franken, one for cats and one for dogs. You may enter both, one form per Franken. If you want to make any changes, delete your old form and post a new one, if you edit I will probably miss the change. I may occassionally do Fast Frankens in joinme as well, this will be announced in this thread.

Tricolor is not a white marking Wildfilly, as that suggests another color than white + base coat. Bicolor is an acceptable answer. Options can be seen on the website if you're unsure.

And for all contests if you say 'Yes' for white markings then they are artist's choice, you may also specify the type of white markings if you prefer (bicolour or blaze + mitts for example). I won't be coloring FCFC until Sunday so I'll allow edits up until the 5th in case anyone was confused.

Like the other sections (pattern, base coat etc) you're allowed to pick actual types. That can be specifying one white marking, or saying 'choice between this and that' or just saying artist choice. Whatever you want really

Breed Raffle: Results!
What you've all been waiting for.. raffle results! We have 20 breeds, 10 cat and 10 dog and a total of 17 entrants. Some people listed very few breeds and some breeds were clearly more populair, so I've decided to toss in a second pet for the 5 most populair ones. This means the prize pool has 25 pets! Everyone will win at least one semi custom and then there's 8 people that will win a second

Posting this many random.org screenshots will take up a LOT of space, so instead I'll just announce winners without posting the lists, I hope that's okay with everyone. I did roll results during a small joinme session to ensure there was proof that I've really rolled and not just gave my friends their favorites or something
