Christmas game is starting today! Anyone who has not yet signed up is still allowed to jump in, but only for today. If you miss the first day you can't play anymore (this is so I can figure out the amount of players and decide on prizes).

Christmas Game ~ Day 1

Only a week until Christmas and you've been so busy you forgot to send out your Christmas cards! There's a note in your mailbox from your local post office, reminding you to send out any cards by today. The post office closes in an hour.

What do you do? Make your choice.
(X) Don't sent any cards this year. Surely your friends and family won't mind if you skip a year.
(X) Sent them out another day. The post office is swamped as it is and there's no way they will arrive in time anyway. You can pick some up and sent them out when you go grocery shopping the day after tomorrow.

As I swipe my purchases and load them up into bags, I reflect on the fact that at least I'm still (mostly) relaxed and not worrying about battling other frazzled card and package senders in post office lines that rival Black Friday sale campsites. No one wants stress and angst attached to their holiday greetings.

(Does anyone still send holiday cards these days? I figured it was all email/text messages and phone calls these days? Maybe a Skype call if you're fancy. XD)

In answer to Keilin, I know plenty of people who do! My family does and so do a bunch of friends. And a bunch of Secundi people too! I know this because I am getting cards from Aralie, PM and Saturnalia XD <3

If there's one thing Saturn cannot abide by at Christmas time, it's a treeless house! And if there's one other thing that she doesn't much care for, it's fake trees! She wants that piney fragrance, and having to put water in it daily, and needles all over the floor! No, seriously, she enjoys all of those things. She's a little weird.

So, even if all she comes back with is a Charlie Brown-esque branch, she's going to have some pine in the house! She grabs an ax and heads out the door her tail swinging determinedly behind her.

I wonder where the fake tree I usually have went... hmmm.... oh well! Must buy a new one since it isn't right to not have a tree. Fake ones are most common for us because of pets, don't need the dogs trying to pee on it because it is real. But it has to be a plain green tree, none of the fake snow or odd coloured ones. Will also have to put something up around the house to make it look more festive ^_^

Goodness, first the holiday cards and now the tree, this is shaping up to be a very scatterbrained holiday! Still, in spite of this setback, I'll stubbornly adhere to my worry-free and stress-free philosophy to keep a smile on my face, adorning my home with treasures once stashed up in the attic: festive garland and twinkly lights and poofy bows and sweet and spicy scented candles for the tables. And cookies. Can't forget the cookie platters.

It's beginning to look a lot like... a bunch of hyperactive kindergarteners ransacked a craft store and left their goodies behind at my place, but hey, at least it's fun!

I'm just not very organized this year, am I!? Well, its too much of a hassle to find a tree at this hour and decorate, and I am skilled at home decorating, so I shall just make the house look good!

With the cards and tree taken care of it's time to think about the actual celebration. You and your family alternate hosting duties and this year is your turn! First order of business, how are you going to set up the room for dinner..

What do you do? Make your choice.
(X) Set two square tables, one for the kiddos and one for the adults. Now you can all have normal conversations without the kids interrupting.
(X) Set one large rectangle table, with the kids seated in between their own parents. Nice and organized.
(X) Set one large round table up and let people pick their own seats. With the round table you should be able to talk to everyone without a problem.
(X) Set several small tables and let people move around to different tables during the feast. Less chaotic this way and you still get to speak with everyone.

You have the entire Secundi day to answer (I'll give it a bit extra, let's say until 04:00 tomorrow since I am so late today). Include a 1d20 dice roll when posting your selection. It's appreciated if you title your post Christmas Game - Day 3 in maroon so I can easily spot game posts.
