This mare is looking for a forever home. She used to be a show jumping horse, but after her career ended, she ended up in a bad situation. Luckily, she found her way to us, and she is now ready to go home with an eligible adopter.

To convince her that you are her dream owner, you'll need to be pretty persuasive and bribe her a bit. Now, your bribe can include intangible things like "a loving home" or tangible things like "a diamond-studded halter." Or both. It's all up to you.

Event #5: Art



This lady is pretty vain, and she loves looking at herself. She is tired of using the big mirror in the barn, so is now desiring someone to paint her portrait.

Entries will be entered into random.org to decide who will take the mare home. So don't be discouraged if you are not the most distinguished artist of them all

You may use any medium you so choose.

This stallion can't seem to remember his past So, why not rewrite it for him?

Please write a minimum of 3 paragraphs about this stallion's history. It can be anything: an internationally-acclaimed barrel racer, a wild horse, a pasture ornament... it's all in your hands.

Entries will be graded based on originality, writing style, and grammar.

That is probably me messing up with times then. The posts were made at 12:00, so I figured 16:00 would mean 4 hours later. Apparently the posts were made at 00:00 and the forum shows it as 12:00? I dunno, I'm confused now.

I assume you can only guess once, otherwise you can keep guessing until you get it right.
And you can guess up to three things.

It really depends on how your guess is stated... You could have something like: white, golden buckskin, overo (in which case a golden buckskin is a point, but another shade of buckskin isn't; and any overo - frame, splash, sabino - counts as one point, as it is overo based). If that makes sense? It's supposed to be fun, not mind-numbing, so I really am not going to be too picky.

Yea that's fine. So for example: golden buckskin frame overo would just be 2 guesses?
I always thought that would be 4 guesses O.o The breeding game we played on TheKennel forum worked that way.. I remember because everyone guessed buckskin once and then 1 person said golden buckskin which saved you from coloring 6 horses xD

If Im following the conversation correctly, it would be 2 guesses, but normally would be 4. In this case, overo and buckskin would mean you get a point if its overo or if its buckskin. You are choosing to narrow down your guess to specific type of overo and buckskin. This means, sooty buckskin would be incorrect and you dont get the point for the guess. At least, if im reading it right.

So specifying doesn't give you any extra points, it only decreases your odds xD
