Today... I am thankful for my best friend, my boyfriend! I saw him in person for the first time in a couple months. He is a wonderful loving person that takes care of me and others around him... plus he made some very delicious baked potatoes for dinner. *is stuffed*

Uh, Today I am thankful for a day off! 12 days in a row they did. 50 hours since Sunday they did. But today, Kah got to sleep in til the ripe old hour of 8 am. She had to get up to go to bed early for work tomorrow at the even riper start time of 4 am. But for today I am thankful for sleeping in til 8.

I'm thankful I have a job.  Even if I hate it, and dread going to work so bad I get physically sick each day I have to go in.  I know a lot of people right now don;t have any jobs, so as much as I hate mine and really REALLY don't want to go to work today, I'm very thankful that I have the job.

I am telling you all now that I will have the Secret santas done for Christmas eve. However I am not certian if all the boxes for the gifts will be done. Just a little warning for you all because there are SOOO many gifts that its taking a long time to upload. Hopefully i will get it all done for christmas but please dont be mad if its a day or 2 late for opening.

I am thankful that my Christmas shopping is all done with (aside form rolls and eggs which we pick up tomorrow heh) but the gift shopping is done.  I still have a load of scarves I haven't finished, but those will come.  I'm just really really glad I managed to get all the gifts I wanted this year, and got all of the necessity food items out of the way.

Now, if I can just survive the stupid party at work tomorrow -.-

Today I'm thankful for my dad's amazing cooking <3 He has so many old family recipes memorized by heart and can cook them at the drop of a dime. Today we made his Christmas Loaves together, and it makes me happy that now that I'm an adult I can appreciate the food he makes AND watch/help out so that I can remember how to make these things too. They bring back memories of happy Christmases and Thanksgivings from my childhood, and I'm glad that dad still makes them and enjoys cooking as much as he dose <3

Hmmm.....today I am thankful for my pets; they help me calm down when I am upset. They always know how to cheer me up no matter how upset I am.

Today is December 24th. Today would have been my son's 11th birthday. I am thankful for the short amount of time I had with him.

I apologize again guys for not getting it done for christmas it didnt help that we found out my parents got called for disaster relief and the last few days where spent with them since they left christmas eve to go to new york and help the survivors of Sandy. My dad's mum is staying with us, and she's... difficult to get on with, as is my dad. So by that point in the day we had started arguing. Had a good meal though, and a nice time in the morning. It has been great the have christmas in Secundi to get properly excited about

That sounds nice I'm going to my granny's (mum's mum) house on the second to meet all that side of my family, who i mostly get on with really well, so i'm looking forward to that. Really the only people in my family who i don't get on with is my dad, his mum and to a lesser extent my sister and my younger cousins. So not too bad normally, especially since i've now moved away from home and into college halls for most of the year.
