Introducing Planet Zar's working-line German shepherd dogs! We use real GSD colors and genetics for our dogs, but even rare/disqualified colors are possible in our kennels. To introduce our dogs to Secundi we're holding several events for some fully grown and pre-trained adults. All these dogs are looking for good homes, but there are some requirements you need to meet before participating.

• Do not direct link images! Please save them to your own server!
• You need to set up a kennel here on Secundi in the records boards, so your GSD have somewhere to live. The format is explained in the following post.
• If you purchase a GSD, we do expect you to enter them in competitions when they're open. You won't lose your dogs, but you won't be able to breed them if you don't trial.
• If you'd like to page your GSD off of Secundi, please link back to the website (http://planetzar.com/gsd)

Once you've adopted your first GSD, you need to set-up a kennel in the boarding area or the notary office of Secundi. Alternatively you may make a kennel off site, but the basic format is the same.

Your kennel will need the following:

• A unique kennel name (not used by any other Planet Zar Kennel)
• Breeding policies. Eg. stud usage/cost, any colors/coat-types you wish to specialize in, etc.
• Competition goals. Eg. Which sport do you wish to specialize in, if any? Sports are listed under 'compete' on the website.
• One post reserved as a 'whelping room' for puppies.
• A prefix or suffix to be used on all dogs adopted or born into your kennel.

(Prefix example: ZAR Men in Black)
(Suffix example: Men in Black vom Zar)
-- For suffixes, you may use vom, von, of, or from.

Dogs should either have one post to itself OR be separated by gender, so females are all in one post, and males are all in another. Please don't post males and females together in the same post.

You need to include ALL stats given for each GSD in your kennel, along with the image of the dog.

I can read every chart there is, I just don't understand em. Pretty x pretty = pretty. And don't breed two whites together because the pups could have problems. Or something like that. Unless it's a white breed like the malamute.

Oh yeah, whites are fine in this breed. It's extreme white piebald that MAY cause deafness (panda markings, not "white" shepherds.)

And shepherds don't have merle or harlequin, so there are no worries there.

Some breeders IRL worry about blue dilution carrying genetic defects, but there haven't been any cases of it in the GSD. Happens in dobermans though.

The custom I'm getting is based off the GSD my boyfriend had growing up. I don't have any pics of him, but he gave me a decent description of him so I feel pretty confident that he will be close. I can't wait to see him

Yes, he was one of those you don't come across very often. We want to get one a s a puppy to raise around the kids. I love them, they are such beautiful and loyal dogs. There are a few other breeds we are thinking about getting if we can't find one similar to him.

I'll get my Kennel up asap once my custom is done too! I was wondering, am I allowed to use a Kennel name I used for another adoptable too? I usually use the same name for same animal types (like all FCFC dog Kennel is named Everlasting Friend and I'd love to name this one the same if allowed, if not I'll do something else <3)

@Country: GSDs are certainly one of my favorite breeds! c: No kids for me, though, but my one boy... who was NEVER raised around children, thinks kids are the BEST. THING. EVER. I swear, I'd get a spot on perfect heel if I had a toddler tucked up under my arm.

@YLO: Using a kennel name over for the GSDs is fine by me! c: I just don't want GSD-kennels to have duplicate names.

I wish my parents' dogs where that well behaved. Tey ahve rat terriers...or terrors as I call them. They can be sweet but they are extremely possesive. My dad's had bitten me numerous times and brought blood just because I've walked by and gotten to close when he was in my dad's lap.

I bought my boys for the purpose of doing schutzhund, so it's been training every day since they stepped foot in the house.

I LOVE terriers too, but they sure can have a lot of attitude! Definitely a breed that needs steady guidance and plenty of training. I have a "working" cairn terrier, who was trained enough to have manners, but he's mostly rodent control so no formal obedience for him.

I'd love to have a Jagd terrier in the future.

These three have manners when they choose to have them, they are just spoiled beyond rotten and they rule the house. The hog the chouches, chairs, beds, seats in the vehicles. Its awful. My dad's is trained to hunt, they all are used for hunting, but he is the one who has had the most training. He is also the most spoiled of the three.
