Chirroc Town - HIATUS!

I am putting Chirroc Town on hiatus for a couple of months.
I want to completely change the way I run them and I don't have time to do that right now.
Any unfinished Chillachu are refunded and you will be able to request them again when the shop opens back up, free of charge.

These will come back, but it may take several months.
In the meantime I'll probably run The Jaeman Prophecy, as that is completely ready to go and I am satisfied with that adoptable (lineart, shading, cert & set-up).
Both Chirroc Town and Neptune's Oasis will undergo some heavy changes and then hopefully return.
I just don't like the way they are right now, so I'll bring them back when I find a solution for that and hopefully I'll get both new and old followers then.

Roughly the size of a chinchilla [hence the name], Chillachus are nothing like the furry mammal they appear to be... they are in fact one of the most unique creatures in exsistance. Don't believe me? 
Let's go back in time...

Chirroc was a harsh town, that hardly ever graced you with the presence of a welcome, much less a sweet good-bye. Chaos and drunkards ruled the streets, rumors and myths filled the air - looking at the sources, it wasn't much of a surprise no one sought to find the truth. But ya see, it found me...

Is... is this a dream?

The sun was just peeking over the hills, not enough to paint the sky of a new morning, but just enough to remind me I had a hangover. The bitter taste of alcohol caked my lips, and still danced down my throat. Much to my disgust, I couldn't remember much of the evening that lead to this ever-so-glorious morning.

A thought... she's just a thought, she lives only in mind... what was she saying? Mmm, factured memories were always my favorite, there is just enough to make you wonder, gone before you can pick up the next piece. Luckily, I recalled one thing - well, more so it wouldn't let me forget it.

There was a gypsy, wheeling her cart down the dirt roads of the alley, she strode, almost as if she owned the entire town. She was chanting, words that I could not recall but her voice was like a lullaby long forgotten.

Her song still called to me, I had to find this woman, I had to remember...

I grabbed the closest outfit to me, threw on my boots and proceeded out the door. I winced, despite the lack of sun, the air was still muggy - a light wind was kicking sand into my eyes. I wandered down the alley, no one was in sight - this came as little surprise. Most everyone would be sleeping until noon, hung over until mid-evening, and drunk once again before sun fall. A few feet away rested and old stone block, oddly it was the most inviting thing I'd seen all day, besides I needed a rest.

It seemed like I was sitting for hours before the warmth finally cradled me into a light slumber. ...something was on my shoulder, it felt like a hand, small and cold, yet comforting. I squinted one eye open, it was her...

Her voice still held the same tone, though her words did not match. "You, you are becoming part of the damned..." I quirked a brow in puzzlement, I guess this was hint enough that I wanted an explantion. "You've lost faith in dreams, and thus, in yourself... if you wish, if you desire, I can rekindle those dreams..." She waved her arm at her cart, it was lined of various beaded jewelry, rabbit's feet, and dream catchers. Without haste, she snatched one up and smiled. "These here, these are the most sought after items in this town, they can save you."

I was about to walk away, weary of such nonsense pouring from her apple red lips. "...and when I say most sought after, I mean most expensive, people have spent years trying to make the funds to purchase one of these... but for your lost soul, just one dollar."

It hit me, like a ton of bricks. "...just one dollar, just one dollar..." This is what I had heard last night. I cleared my throat, unsure of how bad my breath would be. "Just one dollar ma'am?" She closed her eyes and nodded, "Just one dollar." With a soft shrug, I handed her a dollar in exchange for the brightly colored dream catcher she was previously cradling.

She smiled, and gave a small nod. "Treat this with love, and faith. For if you show, even think that you do not believe, the creature within will abandon you, causing you to abandon yourself..."

Before I could process what exactly she meant by that, she was gone... and the wind carried a whisper, "...just one dollar."

Chillachu have two stages and come in seven different types.
Three of those types can be found in the wild, as seen below.

In order: Normal - Angelic - Demonic

   

Chillachu start out as dreamcatchers, which is in fact their baby stage.
Dreamcatchers are almost never given out and can only be obtained through customs and breeding.
About two weeks after your dreamcatcher gets certed it changes into the adult chinchilla-like form.

Dreamcatchers will already show the basic colors of your adult Chillachu.
Some may have a pattern already, some won't show it until adulthood.
The following image explains how the colors transfer to your adult Chillachu:


As said before, Chillachu come in seven different types. We've already shown you three of them.
The fourth is the Elder Chillachu, an extremely rare type that is usually awarded to those who RP their Chillachu intensively. The other three types are mutations: Double Fin (DF), Crab Tail (CT) and Fae.
You can get these Chillachu by buying the correct item from the shop and equipping it to a dreamcatcher.
They also show up in events, auctions and raffles, but not in flatsales and customs.

At the Item Shop you can find special items to give to your dreamcatcher.
The Chillachu will then grow up to be a special type.
Special types are meant to be a bit rare, so can be expensive sometimes.
You can only give items to dreamcatchers, adults can't be changed.


Fairy dust turns them into a Fae Chillachu.
A sand bottle turns them into a Crab Tail (CT).
And the clam shell with pearl into a Double Fin (DF).
To buy an item, post the item's name and amount you want in purple and send the SG immediately after posting.

Breeding Chillachu is easy. You choose a male and a female, PM me a request and pay the neccessary fee.
Breeding is currently closed. Fees will be added once I've decided on them.

• Any male/female pairing can be bred together.
Male/male pairings and female/female pairings are not able to breed, though this might change in the future.
• Currently you're not able to influence how the babies look. All traits come from parents.
In the future there will be items available to guarantee a certain gender, color, type and/or marking.
• There will be 2-4 dreamcatchers born from a single breeding.
• All dreamcatchers will be given to the person sending in the request. You can only keep one baby yourself.
All others can be used to pay stud/RB fees, traded for other Chillachu/adoptables or given away for free.
You are NOT allowed to sell Chillachu for any kind of currency.
• After all dreamcatchers find homes you must wait one month before you can send in another request.
• If you're using a Chillachu owned by someone else, they must PM me to give their permission.

The following list shows possible outcomes:
Normal x Normal = 100% Normal
Normal x Wild = 60% Normal, 40% Wild
Normal x Special = 70% Normal, 30% Special
Normal x Elder = 95% Normal, 5% Elder
Wild x Wild = 100% Wild, 50/50 chance of each type when using different ones.
Wild x Special = 65% Wild, 35% Special
Wild x Elder = 80% Wild, 15% Normal 5% Elder
Special x Special = 100% Special, 50/50 chance of each type when using different ones.

Elder x Elder = 70% Normal, 30% Elder (they're meant to be rare)

Normal and Elder don't need explanation.
Wild means Angelic or Demonic, Special means DF, CT or Fae.
