♥Kachine♥ Opener Events

First of all, welcome! I'm glad to see all of you here and hope you'll enjoy yourself while you are visiting.

Kachine are primarily cats, but may delve into other species. The current lines are also not breed specific, but depending on what following we develop, more breeds may pop up. Because we are new, we are also very versatile here!

We are going to be as active as school permits, so please don't expect us to have many big events often. That being said, I will try my best to provide pretty kitties as often as my schedule allows.

The name Kachine goes to the lovely Daimas, and is a mixture of the Japanese words kawaii (cute), chibi (small), and neko (cat). If you are the type of person who likes to know how words are pronounced when reading, the 'a' in ka is pronounced like the 'a' in mother, the 'i' in chi is pronounced like the 'y' in lucky, and the 'e' in ne is prounounced like the 'e' in net.

That being said, please ask me any questions you might have, and lets get on to some events!

A few more events before we launch into breeding. For those who won Kachine from the previous events but still haven't named them, they are in the next post with your names in bold.

Goodbye, sweet hat...
The first person to roll an eight out of fifteen and retrieve the Mad Hatter's hat for the Cheshire Cat will find this little fellow following them home. You may roll once every four hours.

The hat and mist will not pass on to his offspring, however. Any offspring that inherit his pattern will not have duel tone stripes, they will merely be blue.

This raffle will work differently than the one before. First, let me present the prizes.

Now. I will roll a random number, the die being any number 20 or below. The first person to match the die and number gets the Kachine. I'll be rolling in order from 1 to 10. So the first dice roll will be for #1, the second for #2, etc. In my post I will specify which Kachine the roll is for. You may roll once a day for one Kachine, unless one is won. (So since Rose won the first one, everyone who rolled before can roll again now. I won't stop you from rolling regarding how many you've won, but please keep the other members in mind.)

I'm not easily offended XD And yes, I'm definitely a fan. Totally loved him in Bunraku and Fuurin Kazan and enjoy his music and the visuals in his videos. Very artisticly interesting to me

I agree. I've seen Bunraku, but unfortunately haven't been able to see Fuurin Kazan. Love his music. And the visuals, especially in ghost and lu_na are cool, too. Typically I listen more than watch, though.

Also, I have a little time left before bedtime. Anyone want to try a franken?

There are sites where you can watch it online, but Fuurin Kazan is very very sad DX So many characters died. Also, if you're watching it for Gackt, he doesn't appear until the later episodes so you end up watching about ...30? Before you even see him XD But its still really very good. I got so attatched to the character Kansuke lol >< But Im glad to meet someone else who lieks his music too X3

XD It is rare to find someone who likes Japanese music. Lately around school people have been going on about a korean song called oppan gangnam style, but that's as Asian as most people know. If I find I have time to actually watch something then I'll see if I can find a decent site online.

Ok. If this isn't finished in about half an hour or so, then I'll have to leave it for the morning. But, I'll start it now and people can jump in whenever they want to.

Kah - I haven't quite decided how I'm going to express tortoiseshells and calicoes, since their markings aren't very easy to define. When I think of a tortie, I think of a pretty kitty with brindled red and black fur. To me a calico is a kitty with orange and black spots on a white base. So I'd have to do some figuring out if I were to use one or the other as a pattern. So for at least this round I'm going to leave them out till I figure out what I'm doing with them, sorry... Would you prefer me to do bi (Like Bun's Maneki?)
