My pretty new QH mare!

I'm in love with the Quarter Horses, from the moment the mare was first revealed I knew I was in love. I had to have one! And I crossed my fingers and such, and eventually, after the Luestin's auction, I was thinking: the coolest way to give them away? Use the dice. It's a super fair way to go about it. And fun and frustrating at the same time.

Looking at the prizes, my honest favorite was the stallion who ended up going home with Winged, after that, it was pretty much any XD I'm fairly certain I said that at one point to CG. Or something along those lines. These guys are just so awesome, there was not a bad one in the bunch!

Long into the night, the contest raged. Will this be the hour that I get the winning number? And it was all for naught. And then Silv went to bed, and not long after so did I. I get up a couple of times during the night, mainly any time my dog barks and nature calls.

Fast forward, during the night I ended up with not one, but two uncalled numbers! I was ecstatic! I got a call from my aunt in regards to my uncle, who has been struggling with cancer. He passed in the night peacefully. One thing I remember of this uncle growing up was any time we went over to his house he'd have a bowl of Hershey's Kisses sitting right there in the middle of their coffee table, and we could help ourselves to them.

Silv comes online and says number 19 was a winner! I saw my name, was all NOWAY! I may have squeed and the dog may have barked XD She's a weirdo anyways, so it's all good. I saw which mare I had won, my favorite of the remaining four. Her coor may be a bit off from a true Hershey Kiss, but that's what I named her, in honor of my uncle, the Hershey Kisses and the best Derby parties ever!
