With all the activity around Secundi lately, especially seeing so many beautiful equine adoptables, my Okibi were getting restless and demanded a fanfare return! And who am I to deny such fun? *blows some trumpets to satisfy them*

Event 1: Pick-a-door EVENT OVER

With all these equine adoptables popping up, the Okibi demanded some horsey events so they would fit in. And as has happened before, they were quite taken with the look of the horses of Pet Adoptables.com, a click-and-hatch website that I find very fun.

All 6 Okibi in this event will be mimics of the Clydesdales from that website. But the trick is, you won't see these shy Okibi come forth until the games have ended! You will have to be content with a 'sneak peek' version, by seeing the pet from Pet Adoptables that inspired each Okibi.

Your standard 'let's get back into thing' game! There are 10 doors, and behind 1 door is an Okibi matching the little guy above. Everyone may claim 1 door, whether it be for yourself or for a friend, just 1. The doors will open when all 10 have been claimed.

Event 2: Photo Bribe  EVENT OVER

This little lady is baking in all this summer heat! Post a picture (no hotlinking!) of something nice and cool, whether it be an arctic landscape or a popsicle--anything you think of when you want to beat the heat, to try to coax her to come over to you. The one picture she finds most appealing at the contest end time will win her over!

Event 3: Haiku Raffle EVENT OVER

What a complex guy this Okibi is! He informs me that intelligence is the key to a good partner... but luck always wins out in the end! x_X I don't understand him myself... but he says he'd like an event that shows off both intelligence and luck, so I came up with this to satisfy him.

To enter this raffle, post one haiku that you composed yourself (just google the word haiku if you don't know the rules for these short 3-line poems). The content of the poem can be anything, but must mention at least one aspect of nature somewhere in there. At the end of the contest time, random dice role will determine who this boy goes home with.

Event 4: Photo Match

The popular Photo Match event is back! Like last time, the point of this event is to find one photo of a real horse that most closely matches the pet shown above. I've included all four growth stages of the adoptable so you can see some additional details.

You can only choose one photo to enter, and you can't repeat the same photo someone used before you, so check the thread carefully before posting! Breed, gender, age, things like that don't matter. You can post a photo of a Clydesdale or a baby Shetland, the point is to get as close to the pet's color and markings as you can. At the end time, the horse photo I think most closely matches the pet shown above will win the Okibi mimic!

Event 5: LOLcontest

Ahh, I'm glad this little filly has a great sense of humor! I could really use a laugh these days. She left the choice of event up to me, and what better way to find the perfect partner than a LOLContest?

Choose one to enter, only one! Find you favorite LOL-image and post it here in the thread. Doesn't have to have cats in it! At the contest end time, the one that made me laugh the hardest will win the pretty Okibi girl. (If you have a naughty one you can pm it to me.) Keep in mind I spend a lot of time at icanhascheezburger.com, so if you just grab the first one you see from the first page there, chances are I've already seen it.

Event 6: Find-a-Friend

Our last little Okibi is very shy, and didn't have any ideas for an event herself. I could barely get her to agree to go home with someone! I thought she might feel a little better if she made a friend who could coax her to come out of hiding.

To enter this contest, post one adoptable you already own, to be her friend, and a short line from that adoptable talking to her and encouraging her to come home with you. If your pet convinces her to get over her lack of confidence, she'll pick you and follow you home!

A young Horse steps through from the sides. She looks this way and that, finally shaking her little body this way and that, and wagging her hairless tail. "Hewwo!" she says, looking into the dark places. "I'm Abigail! I think you should come out and pway wif me! I need a new fwiend. My mommy and daddy say so, would you wike to be my fwiend? We can go pway together! And eat some apples! And umm.. Take naps! Yes. Naps are fun, at least Mommy says so." In a quieter voice, speaking directly to the hidden one she says "But between me and you, naps aren't as much fun as Mommy says." She brightens up again. "Pway wif me?"

Find-a-Friend



The sound of wings beating the air accompanies the arrival of a beautiful Okibi, she circles the area once before landing lightly on a thick branch of a nearby tree.  Turning her attention to the shadows she shakes her head, her white and black mane sliding back behind her ears and nods towards the one hiding in shadow  Hello friend, I see you too, like to enjoy your solitude.  Fear not, where I live, there is plenty of room to roam free, places to hide away, and everyone else who lives there is very kind and understanding.  No one would force you to do anything you didn't choose to do.  And whenever you wished to wander the forest or mountain paths, you need not fear predators either.  Ruffles her feathers and sits up with a rigid spine, her proud head held high  No one would dare to attempt harm to anyone on my lands.  And while solitude and shadows can be very enjoyable, they can also get a might lonesome at times.  So come on out, or not.. as you wish.  Wrapping her fluffy tails around her body she sits there and gazes watchfully out over the assembled people and various critters, ears perked and eyes alert for any potentual danger.
