Corlanna walks up, basket in her hand. "Thanks for the entry SkySong! It is definitely lovely!" She sets the basket down and wipes her hands off on her skirt, mumbling about chores. She notices the lot of you looking at her basket and she looks back up at you and smiles.

"Those?" She answers your questioning glances, "Are nothing for now... but maybe soon! My siblings say I'm too loud for foaling mares... so instead of helping them with preparations, they have me out gathering the items they will need..." She sighs, looking a bit put-out. But just as she frowns, she smiles again.

"I know! I'm finished with these chores for now! What about we summon another Elenaria with music again? The first 2 to come up with songs please!"

I can't believe I made it for that flatsale mare!  My little one and I were on the way to the zoo and I was stalking like crazy with the form ready with everything except the ID.  I sent it in from my phone and it wouldn't work and I finally got so annoyed with it not working that I just put it down to come back to a text from Rose to let me know I won the beauty!!  Payment sent now, and....

Luv examined all the beauties that had been brought for sale closely.  It wasn't their physical attributes so much that she was looking at, but their attitudes and personalities that she was getting a feel for.  She had a believe that like any human, every creature you meet will either 'click' with you and it will fit, or it won't.

Coming upon a mare, Luv stroked her champagne coat gently, and cautiously.  Her reaction was instantanious.  Her light nicker begged for more.  "You like that, girl, do ya?" Luv cooed.  This sweet girl's personality was certainly a fit.  Luv approached Raeris, hoping to bring the beautiful girl home to join her stallion.  Poor guy was very devoted, but mighty lonely.

Upon affirming that the mare could leave with her, Luv knew that a name needed to be chosen.  "I know this will be a big change for you, my golden girl, but I hope it will be for the better.  You may shed a few tears now, but I think they will be long gone when you meet your companion and see the wide open pastures I have for you to enjoy.  And I give you my word to help increase your family as much as I can."  Luv nodded her head.  "Yes, I will find you many more mares to spend your days with.  So many that one day I will come to give you an apple and you will prefer the mares to me!"  Luv laughed.  "I think I shall name you something to reflect the stallion I would like for you to meet, and hopefully share the field with... You will be Arahel, Golden Tears, my beauty."

Raeris returns looking slightly exhausted but pleased. "Corlanna had to go to bed. Little sprite fought me the whole time of course because she was so looking forward to finding these two beautiful mares for you girls. I promised her I would come give them to their proper caretakers."


This first golden girl is the essence of light. Ravvanna I think she is precisely what you are looking for.



Raeris gives the second girl a pat as she tries to nip at his tunic. "She's a spirited one. Knows just where she wants to go and just what she wants to do."


The man yawns and smiles. "I'll be heading to bed as well. Just remember that your reasons for wanting our beautiful Fantasy Stallion must be in by midnight TOMORROW. Don't let him slip away!"

Luv immediently senses that this girl is much different that the other two Elenaria she had taken home.  If fact, this girl wasn't the type to even want to be homed within a herd, or homed at all.  Sweet talking wasn't going to do it.  She was going to need the most honest and blunt part of Luv's personality to come out to even give her a second glance.

"Hello...." Luv began cautiously, not even knowing where to go with her words.  Instead she simply held out a hand to be smelled, and crouched to the mares lowered head height.  The bond was struck right there.  Luv understood she needed to be free.  The girl understood Luv would give her that freedom.  "Well, miss, you are certainly a Coravain, eh?  A spirit of legend?"  Luv chuckled to herself and the mare knocked her off balance from her crouched position, as if to show her love for the name and insistance upon being the authority.  "Really, Cora?"  Luv said as she got up, brushing her jeans off, but the comment was made with a smirk and touch of sarcasm.  Coravain was going to find her place well in Luv's home.

"Why Should I Trust You?"

I have been fortunate to adopt one Elenaria already, the beautiful golden mare Elentári. While she has not been with me for long, I have given her a wonderful home -- lots of land to roam, plenty of mental and physical activity to keep her stimulated, and a fair dose of pampering. Since I have done so well with Elentári thus far, I would consider myself a trustworthy friend to the Elenaria and believe myself capable of caring for a second, specifically the handsome cyan boy for whom you are seeking a home. He would have a friend in both myself and Elentári, and I assure you he would want for nothing. I recognize how special he is, and I promise I would treat him with the love and dignity he deserves. As far as his accommodations go, I own a moderate ranch in a temperate climate with acres of grassland both fenced and unfenced for him to roam with Elentári. When the winter comes, a barn attachment has been added to my home, so the two can rest in a bedded area and still peek through their stall doors into my living room!

If the stallion comes home with me, I would name him Earrámë. The name means "Wing of the Sea" in Quenya Elvish. He reminds me both of seafoam and a perfect summer sky, and the name suits him by combining both sea and sky.

BKC Looks at the stallion and Raeris and steps forwards towards them.  'I have been lucky enough for you to trust me to take home my beautiful Roan boy Arro, I would love him to have some company, no animal should be without another of his own kind.  I know he has me to cherish and love him, but it is not the same and I would hate for him to be unhappy.  I know in time I would likely to be lucky enough to take home another, but this boy calls to me, with his colours and his intelligent eyes.  I would call him 'Alaer' which i believe means 'SeaSong' as this is what he reminds me of.
My ranch is not big and impressive but it has all i need to take care of the Elenaria. With snug stables with soft straw, plenty of pastures for them to roam in and even a small woodland on my boundary, it sits on the cliffs overlooking the sea and the waves below are a gentle lullabye. He certainly would not want for anything....' BKC trails off and hold her hand out tenatively towards to magnificent stallion clicking softly to him in a soothing manner, hoping he might choose her.

Why should I trust you?
As I lay here in the grass, staring up at the sky, thinking my thoughts, but in reality, just breathing the clean summer air, wondering at nightfall, what would become of tomorrow? "Ah well, one should never think of tomorrow while there is still a today", I say, at last, coming to some conclusion of some problem deep inside of me. I sit up, my musings were just that, musings, when I spied... Something, just out of the corner of my eye. Turning my head so fast that my hair whips around and smacks me in my eye, through my watering eyes, I spied a glorious stallion, just like the summer day before me. The stallion stood proud, his mane and tail dipped in sunlight, his base color, the color of the sky just after dawn, while on his rump stood markings of white, with a few speckles of the sky seeping in. His red eyes seemed to  pierce my very soul.

"You're searching for something, aren't you?" I ask of the stallion. The red eyes, ever searching deeper, deeper into my very soul. I blink hastily in his intense gaze. Will he take that as a sign of weakness? I hoped not. "It may not be much, but I can offer you shelter, over yonder," I pointed towards a small stable, set right next to a cherry tree. Around me, there were no fences, which would allow the stallion to come and go as he pleases. Clean and clear water bubbled nearby. "It is spring fed." I say proudly. The water was normally tooth achingly cool, and tasted, just a little, of minerals and other good things.

But what to call such an amazing stallion? I could not continue calling him "stallion," he might take offense to that after a while. And upon careful consideration, I came upon "Thertria" which means "Sky Dancer" according to that which I have read about. "Will that be acceptable?" I ask, fully expecting the stallion to read my thoughts, "Thertria" I whisper. A nice barn to stay in, should inclement weather strike, a wonderful stream, from which some of the best water comes from, and oh yes! Cinnamints! I love these things! I pop one from a wrapper, and carefully hold it out towards the stallion. Will he accept? Would he be willing to be my first, and most cherished Elenaria?

I wouldn't call it an "owning" per se, as much as a joining, of two friends, together, forever. His colors, are my own personal favorite colors, and I would stare upon him for always and ever. He would be a bright spot upon a darkness, and if he did choose me to be his friend, I would be forever grateful that such an amazing stallion has chosen to become friends with me.

Hey, one of the first songs to attract a unicorn was a KPop song, so I don't imagine rough and tumble will be a deal-breaker. Not all of them have to like flowing instrumentals and classical pieces. =)

*Approaches Raeris and the Stallion slowly, stopping several feet away and considering each of them in turn before sighing softly and shaking her head*

You ask why you should trust me.  And I have thought about what to say, and tried to think of a good reason to give you that might sway you in my favor.  I could tell you how I value my friends and family, I could tell you of the animal friends i have had over the years, and how I treasured each and every one and mourned their loss.  I could tell you how hard a worker I am, how loyal I am.. There are so many things I could say, to try and sway your judgement of me.

But in the end, when all is said and done, I keep coming back to one thing.  How can I try and convince you of the merits of trusting someone, when I lack said trust.  I am a paranoid personality, and I don't trust anyone completely.  I don't think anyone should trust another 100%.  It is just not who I am to do so, and I think it is a bad idea for anyone to do so.

*Gazes over at the stallion and frowns a bit*

How can I ask you to trust me, when I don't even trust myself?  I will always try and do my best to do right by my friends and family, by those under my care.. and I will do my best.  But there is always going to be that seed of doubt, what if my best isn't quite good enough?  What if I screw everything up?  What if I fail.. everyone?

*turns her gaze back to Raeris and looks him in the eye* 

I cannot give you a reason why you should trust me.  I cannot, when I have no trust in myself.  So I am sorry Raeris, but I simply cannot give you an answer, as I have none.

*Gives a last admiring look to the stallion, nods to respectfully Raeris and turns and walks quietly away*

To Rosewood, a strong male comes trotting from the pasture. His stance is strong and confident, but his bright blue eyes are uncertain and hold a deep, sad story. Will she be the one he trusts next? He gives a soft nicker to her.


See! I told you they would be beautiful~ Now if the two of you would fill out the paper work?
