Markings:
Horse markings; Roan, Dun/Gruello, Sock/Stockings, Star/Blaze/Stripe...
I think the markings like Stockings, Star, and stuff would be best

There's already a marking templated for socks, stockings (which i both alternate on different feet like horses markings are and that can be ordered as a custom), star and blaze. I've done a custom marking roan once, and thought about templating it but the method i used to colour that marking wouldn't work as a template. There's a dorsal stripe marking that is similar to dun.

SkySong, i just realised i never replied to your post earlier! Animal markings are always popular but they're also one thing i usually have difficulty with. I've done stripes as custom markings before, but they always take me ages and i wouldn't say they've turned out realistic to tiger stripes.
The closest i've got to tiger stripes are customs that i did for YLO.

I think she took me at least a week to complete, possibly longer though that was working on and off on her, obviously.


He was another one whose markings took several attempts.

And i'm not sure if i could do something like that again and have it turn out the same, that's th way my colouring usually goes, once i've done a particular marking i can't always remember how to repeat it.

Wow, they both look amazing! And that's understandable - I can't say I can get tiger stripes spot on even now, myself. Perhaps more simple stripes like lionfish?
