Garney misses her dogs.

Now, a lot of things fell apart in the move, I know that and I'm sorry. I'm going to do my best to glue it all back together.

The Site
Updated to reflect Secundi procedures.

The Gist
We're reverting back to most of the old 'on PI' procedures, only we're here now, not there. Simple! I hope XD

Most Kennel business - TheKennel account (all staff)
Item business - Kennel Bling (Garney and Taru primarily)
Breeding business - Kennel Cuddles account (Lectral primarily)

Trades
Since we have a place I feel comfortable reading PMs from, trades can be sent to this account as per the old routines. More strongly, I suggest importing and trading dogs that way.

For the naming and renaming that is a result of trading - there is a Name Tag item in the shop!

Kennel Registrations
Kennel requirements are the same. You can save Secundi dogs and put them on your Kennel website. Your user display isn't good enough, same as the PI presentation. One male and two females are still required.

Register by PMing this account same as it used to be on PI. Fee will be 10,000sg? That sound good? Our daily allowance here is a lot lower, but we have many ways to make sg with many more to come.

Garney Imports
Champ packs and ribbons will be going into the Agency Info box. I have all pack files, or I should anyway. So don't worry about your packs. But please do try to import first gens before offspring.

Using your Import Item
To use an import item, post the images of the importing dogs to this thread. When Garney posts "Garney is ready to import"

You can post as many dogs as you have import items SO LONG AS THEY HAVE THE EXACT SAME CHAMP PACK. Once I say I'm done with those, you can post again. Try not to edit old posts, it confuses me.

If your dog is missing any ribbons on the cert, please make a note and they will be added. This is on your honor. If you don't know, then don't bother with it, I'll figure it out when I catch up on those and add them then.

Competitions
Lectral has been doing these, bless her. I'd like to see them here with sg prizes, but we have to talk about that still.

Breedings
Also Lectral's department.

New breeds
I have two in the works for when things are all hammered out and we're back on schedule, but not until then. We have to get the meat and potatoes working again.

Standard Items
I'll get back to doing these now that I've figured out how to fit them in the Agency Info. Watch this space.

That Dog Park promise
Silv and I are working on that little "Adventure" tab on the main site. Oh yeah, that's what that is >3 well, same concept anyway.

Announcement regarding Competitions

Since the new year has begun, I believe it is time to move the comps over to the Secundi forums.

We are also going to try to restart the item grab! Not sure it will be ready to go for this month, but soon, at least. I will still post notifications here, unless it looks like everyone has made the switch over to secundi, but the item grab, when it happens, will be held on Secundi.

Agility should open on Sunday, Jan 10!

Breeding Tweaks

- For the time being, we are pushing the delay to one month to see if this is a workload we can handle.

- Mutts are being removed entirely, within breed only (this should hardly concern you, no one has ever bred a mutt)

- Puppies will be individually uploaded into Secundi.

- Puppies should grow within 1 month without you having to do anything.

- You may trade puppies freely within the system.

- When the puppies grow we will check your litters. We will repossess any extras you are not allowed to keep at random. To avoid this:
- basic users: trade away puppies until you have one for yourself
- kennels: trade away puppies until you have three or less

- Yes, basic users can now trade puppies. TRADE ONLY. If we see a sale from a basic user we will repossess the entire litter and perhaps had other consequences.

- Breedings will open when Kennel Cuddles says so, and requests will go to that account.

Q&A
And now that we're a bit settled here, should I start sending taxes again if I sell something?
- Yes, all sales should be taxed. However, there are no set exchange rates for secunds to other currencies, so that is your discretion. Secund sales should be fine though.

What if we don't own the parents of the dogs we wish to import, do you want those to wait or can we import them?
- If you don't have access to the parents, then don't worry about it. The pedigree won't be quite right, but you can make a note in the critter description.

Are the dogs posted in Sil's thread still going to be imported or should they be posted here when you're ready?
- You can repost imports to me instead, since I don't know where Silv stopped, just be sure to remove your imports from her thread so she doesn't double up if she starts doing them again.

Are the already registered kennels still fine even if neglected?
- Yes, we only take away registrations for breaking of the rules, neglect isn't breaking rules, it's just sad.

I've moved my website, what do I do?
- Just toss me a note through PM here so I can edit the Kennel site.

What happens to my items when all my dogs are over here?
- I'll either automatically add them to your Secundi items or I'll forget/have problems and they'll sit in your owner folder where they can still be used like normal.

Do you delete the dogs from the gallery when you import them?
- No, they get moved to a Secundi folder for posterity/back-up. Straight to Secundi dogs don't get uploaded and these images won't be updated. We're trying to move away from reliance on the gallery and its slow, hefty code.

Where did my post go?
- I probably deleted it or edited it to remove distracting things. It helps me work faster <3

If I did this right, it is all the old world dogs with these packs except for two.. cause their parents have differant packs, so I'll import them first lol

Unsure if they have all their ribbons or not at this point, I confess I got lazy when the kennel moved off of pi and stopped eeping track :S I must try and catch all that informaiton up for my records sometime soon!

The last 4 are offspring, but I don't own the parents, and have no idea if they have bene imported yet or not.

I'm a bit confused about something: Do I need import passports for dogs that I'm trading and do I need to post those here, or should I now PM them to you? I have added a few that need to be traded into the above bunch, as those all have no champpacks. Some of them are posted on the forum, but I will delete them from there once imported, I've been told you guys prefer if I do it this way instead of posting on the forum.

And now that we're a bit settled here, should I start sending taxes again if I sell something?
I might sell a couple dogs for SG.

Forgot it was the first Monday of the month, no rest for Garneys, all errands. Errands which turned into five hours of tearing down and cleaning a 55 gallon that hasn't been cleaned in months *shakes fist at neighbor who stole the 10 gallon required for cleaning*

But I have added generic items to our database (not in store yet, can't reconcile registered kennel discount problem), imported Kadana and indigowulf puppehs, and messed around so much with my new browser to get all my bookmarks/speed dials back to quick working mode XD That last part isn't important so much for you as for me keeping organized.

Inspire a Garney

A quick and silly little event that I've done something like before.

You post pictures of dog coats that may fit what I'm looking for. Dogs that I choose to make will reward their posters with prizes.

I have a Kennel all set up and ready, but I never made the dogs.

Lahatiel's Little Origami Lions (LOL)
As you can tell by the name, he's a little insane.
He specializes in Shiba Inus, but he doesn't want anything ordinary.
He likes brindle and camouflage and bright colors, especially red and yellow.

You can post dogs, cats, existing kennel dogs
or whatever to inspire me to make dogs for this kennel.

Post as many as you like, but only one prize per person no matter how many 'wins' I pick from your posted images.
