When this young lady was a child, she was abandoned by her parents. She grew up surrounded by awful creatures that stole her supplies in a split second. Naturally, she also lived this way. Her food supply was so short, though, that she had to move into a dry forest, where she stole from other creatures. On one especially hot day, a devastating forest fire raged through the forest. On her escape journey, she saw through the flames a snake, wrapped around a tree, that she stole from on almost a daily basis. She had learned not to care for other creatures, but she couldn't stand watching this poor snake being trapped by the fire. She leaped toward the tree and scooped up the snake which, logically suspecting she had come for her supplies, bit her in the head. The flames lit up the girl's back, and she ran and ran until the snake venom finally made her drift to sleep. When the snake realized her terrible mistake, she took her newest, softest scales and covered the girls severe burns as payment for her courageous deed. When the girl woke up, it was as if she was newly born, with new, soft scales and no memory from the venom, and she set off to lead a life of generosity and compassion.
