aww that's more then fair *hugs* you didn't/don't have to put a timer on the colors.  I'm just a lil out of it, since Ali's visit has just come to an end and I'm all depressed and crap from putting him on a plane home and not knowing when I'll get to see him again.  Just not focusing too well atm lol

I hate to sound ignorant or uncaring or anything, but... Who's Ali again? The name sounds familiar, but I can't place it.

Ali is my boyfriend lol  He lives in Berlin.  And I live in NC -.-  I get to see him (typically) once a year for a month.  Only he couldn't come last year cause of writing his thesis, so I went two years with no Ali   Now he just went home again and has to try and get his thesis published.  If he can, then he will have his Doctor title (doctorate in chemistry).  Seems in Germany, graduating isn't enough, you aren't allowed to have the title until you are published -.-

Anyway, after that he has to try and find a job, and save money to move here, while trying to get a visa, to be allowed to move here, and also while trying to find a job over here.. no telling when I can see him again.  So yea, kinda bummed out :S

And, I've been up for 24 hours now, so am going to go crash.  Maybe I can actually sleep without waking every few minutes reaching for someone who's not here heh

That sounds like a hard time. Can't he get his doctorate over here? It sucks how tight the security and things are to get over here. Go get some sleep, hope you feel better in the morning!

well, he could have tried.  And we did consider that for a bit.  But in the end, it would have wasted time, it was just quicker for him to get it there.  In order to get it here, he would have first had to apply to universities here, and hope he could get into one for the field he chose.  And he would also have to have applied for a card to allow him to come over for school.  That, or the visa to move here.  Both of which would take time to get.  So he'd be sitting over there for a year or two (potentially) trying to just get over here to go to school.  Time that could be spent actually working on his school.  It just seemed wiser (at the time) to have him go ahead and do it there while he tried to get the visa to move here.  We thought he'd have it by now, honestly.

I do feel better today thank you   The weather cooled off a lot yesterday, and thankfully stayed cool over night.  So much so I could actually turn the AC off.  I slept with my windows open and the icy wet air in my face.  It was wonderful!
