That really sucks. >.< We never get anything over here, maybe the occasional hurricane, but that's few and far between. Doesn't even snow much. D:
I first started digital art with gimp. XD I've played with several other programs, but always go back to gimp. I liked sai, but I only had a trial. Adobe? I don't think I've heard of that.

I started with Gimp, and recently got Adobe (Photoshop) 7.0 and I LOVE it. Took a bit to figure out, but it has everything gimp has and more. But I missed my Gimp brushes, so I downloaded them to Photoshop. XD I don't think I'll ever go back to gimp.

ohhh half the time I dislike how tribal gets depicted on adopts, but it looks totally awesome there.  Good job Sky!

I have a couple of questions.  When filling out forms for feeders, where it says "x colors/markings"  Are we supposed to put that many colors and that many markings, or is it that many colors and markings total?  (so like, if it said 3, we pick 3 colors, or 3 markings, or 2 colors and 1 marking.. or 3 colors and 3 markings?)

Sorry, if that sounds confusing.. my brain is jumping all over the place right now lol

Also, do you have a list of allowed markings, disallowed markings, a list of premade markings, or.. do we just describe what we want?

lol yea, I'd say it was scary, but honestly I had no clue what was going on at the time.  I don't watch regular TV, don't read newspapers etc, so had no clue we had bad weather coming.  let alone tornado warnings.  I woke up and saw it was really windy, the big pine behind my bedroom window was whipping around and bending and such, but I thought it was just wind so went ahead and logged online and started classwork like an idiot.  The most tense I got, was when the power went out and I started fretting over my work and net loss.  It was more of an irritation then a concern.  When I complained to mom, she was like "oh yea, we had a tornado warning"  .. or something to that effect.. but I;d been asleep so she couldn't tell me.

I think this is the closest to us that one came since I was 12 or 13, and one hit the trailer park 2 streets over from us.  Now that time, I was really scared, we'd JUST had tornado drills in school too.  At the time, I remember blaming the school for bringing them, because of those drills lol

ETA: Do you think you will ever do inspirational customs?  (inspirational.. where you let us give you a word, picture, sentence, phrase  or such, then you color the Colibri however you get inspired to from there).

Lol, I know what you mean. Most people have been posting 3 colors and markings, but if you want to post only 3 colors, or 3 markings, that's fine too. I think you can tell I'm not that picky when it comes to Colibri.

I don't do template markings, so just describe what you want. If you want something specific, don't just say for instance that you want an eye marking, when what you really want is a ring around the eye. Cause that may result in me putting something completely different! XD

That must have been... Special. I probably would have done that, too, but I usually don't have to worry about storms being that bad. I wonder how the storm managed to kill your computer, though.

And, yeah, I probably will sometime. I think I want to finish the current events before putting another up, though.
