NOTICE:

CYO litters will start growing on June 14th, in just a few days. Remember to find your extra pups a home before growing! If you have a registered Kennel you may only keep 3 pups. If you do not have a registered Kennel, you may keep 1.

More than 3 (or 1) pups in your account at time of growing will automatically go to the Kennel account to be distributed in events. The pups that go to the Kennel account will be randomly taken from your account by the system. We cannot return pups to you that you forgot to rehome or were in the process of rehoming but didn't finalize your deals.

Another (probably dumb) question:  If I understand correctly, we have a month to find homes for extra pups, like the litter I just posted yesterday.  Does that month still stand or should we be finding our extra pups home ASAP as in today?

I'm going to go reread Kennel rules to refresh my memory on some of these things now, so forgive me if I'm asking a silly question.

It's a good thing I went back through the rules... I had completely forgotten many of them including the 10% tax rule which is pretty important.

I have a question regarding bonus pups.

I have a male, who is a champion, and a female, who has 12 points.

Now if I breed them together, would that be 3 bonus pups, or 4?  I'm unsure if the female and males bonus points stack, as I've never bred dogs with enough points to make a difference before.

You combine the parents points and that total determines the amount of bonus puppies, three being the maximum :)

hiyoko - I need links to the parents' pages, not their images.

Everyone - Almost everyone is doing this already, but if you could please make sure your numbers match the order you list in, it really helps when I'm uploading a large amount of images. (For example, if you numbered your images Dog1.png, Dog2.png, Dog3.png. But if you list them on the form putting number 3 first and 1 last, it messes me up when I'm uploading.) Also making sure each litter has the same file names for the dogs (except for the number of course) keeps them together when I'm uploading, so I don't have to go hunting for the next file to upload.

winged - I'm getting a strange error when I try to view your litter7 images, can you check your links please? Is anyone else getting an error for winged's pup images or is it just my computer?

I just checked, and it's a problem with the coding... not sure how i messed that up i was sure i checked the links. Sorry about that, i'll go try to fix it.
ETA: For some reason, it had the text but no links in the box... weird. Should be fixed now anyway.

Hear ye, hear ye! CYO Importer would like to celebrate, as Importing (for now) is currently caught up! *trumpets play* For over a month I've been doing a couple litters almost every day. We have over 370 new dogs floating around Secundi since this event opened! Feels great to have nothing in the list ahead of me. XD

Good job to all our talented colorists out there. I'll try to keep up on litters as they are posted now. :)

Congratulations and thanks for all your hard work!!  I think coloring our own puppies is the most fun I've had with any adoptable!  There are so many ways to inturpret what the pups may come out as and it enables us to make our dreams pets.

That could definately be a problem.  I PMed her to see if she wants to use my female for the mother instead, but the whole litter is merle and my girl doesn't have any merle in her.....

Okay I'm very confused... I have 5 large beds, but wheres the ID's so I can trade them all for shiney points?

Also, FOREVER ago, I had asked someone what to do with my two beds of puppies. I wanted to get a Kennel set up so I could keep them all, but I'm no longer on PI and i have no USD to spend, waht do I do to get a kennel? And what do I do about my two beds? their old, but still there, I have the links, I WANT them, but no one ever talked to me and said what I should do :/

@Wildfilly-  To get a kennel, you must read and understand all the rules of being a kennel.  One of those rules is that you have to have two females and a male adult dogs to register as a kennel.  At this time, you have two very lovely adult dogs, but you still need another female lab.  Therefore you cannot currently become a registered kennel.

However, you have five beds that you can put to use thanks to the lovely kennel.  With those beds, you could ask someone to use their labs so you will have the adult female you need.  You will only be able to keep one pup from each litter until you are actually registered however.  And bc you weren't registered when  you had the pups in those two beds, I believe you will only be able to keep one pup per litter.

As far as getting those pups grown, from what I understand, a new breeding system is opening up and people such as you and myself, who never grew their puppies before will need to use one of our breeding spots to grow old litters.  I think that is completely fair seeing as thekennel workers already do so much work and we fell behind by not turning them in for growing rather than the other way around. 

I don't see many USD kennel events recently, so the USD shouldn't be a problem.  Perhaps just start reviewing the rules in order to prepare for becoming a kennel?

Okay thank you so much! o you know where and when the breeding season is so i can grow my long lost puppies? Lol. Tahts fine with me as long as I can get one of them. And Growing them will get me my female to get a kennel, so yeay!

They are rearranging things currently.  If you read the first post in this thread it explains that.  They have completely done away with the bed season.  I'm sure as soon as thekennel knows what they are doing, they will let us know.

However it is currently color your own litter season..... so just think about maybe going for the female.  It would speed up the process considerably, I believe.

If I could color at ALL I'd just color my own and get a girl that way, but I cant color. Lol. So I'll just wait. Thanks for the help though. :)

Sure.  If you'd like, I can color a litter for you.  I have a few labs waiting to be imported, but we could use those if you would like.  I would just ask to keep the extra pups that you can't. :)

Really? Okay, so tell me how this works. Lol. I'm totally confused, other than you'd use one of my beds to color lab puppies. Who will be the parents and what do we do to grow them and whatever other bits of info I don't understand? XD
