Does Secundi allow 3D apobtables?

Hey There
I joined here as after having trouble on PI some lovely members actually pm'd me and sent me here.
I used to run a 3D adoptable called a "wild-tail", there were plans for it to have it's own sim site and it is indeed all coded, however my son was concieved right in the middle of it and as he was an IVF baby, and the only chance we would ever have the game was put on definite hold as the stress to run one was considered too much of a risk

My son is now nearly two years old, I am not able to go back to my job as an artist/concept artist on PC games as I am a stay at home Mum, but I missed creating for nothing other than the sheer joy of it. I was asked if I would consider bringing back my adoptables and directed to PI.
However I have now being waiting 10 days for an answer onto wether I am actually allowed to offer my adoptables.
Proof has been given of my rights, including screenshots of stores, paypal reciepts, yet it does not seem to be happening.
I then commissioned an artist Wolfgang Toluey to do me a full set of line-art adoptables which I am in the process of colouring/shading.

I have a webiste coded, skinned waiting for the info, but I would also like to offer my origional adoptable as I really loved the creating of them, and I have tons and tons fof mutations, markings, and s genes.

I am going to offer them for adoptaion on my related adoptables site, but it would be really nice to direct people to somewhere that they can actually display my creatures and maybe an other place to adopt and use them

I dont think we have any problems with 3D Here but one of the mods would of course have to say.

And thanks, I actually had plans to do 4 breeds, the firat two were Earth and would eventually have unicorn horns, the second one was fire, there would have been water which would have had drips and water spashes for the mane and tail, and then Air which would have had gusts of wind and leaves for it's mane and tail

These were very populor about 5 years back, and didn't have painted manes and tails back then here is some that were made for friends and family



So since I started making them about 6 years ago they have had some radical changes and updates

Ohh I like!  I'm leery to get into 3d adopts again, cause every time I do they die out rather fast,  But it sounds liek you're well on your way to a good start, so I'd love to give it a go again.

And PI has had 3d adopts in the past.  Just as an FYI.  And unless rules have changed they should be allowed there, because one of the 3d ones I used to try and be involved in had a mod posting in threads too.  But it's been a while, and things maybe have changed, I dunno.

The seahorse tail is actually from the rather kakky inhouse model that comes with every copy of Poser 5 and was to be frank no use as it's head used to deform something horrid as soon as you even breathed on a dial.

However someone was desperate for a hippocampus and I messed about like frankenstien till I had some kind of wierd sea horse contraption, infact the files these guys reside in is called the plastic pony lab.  <grin>

I hear you on why 3D adoptables never seem to have a long shelf life, it's because the prgrams needed are very VERY costly. I have thousands of dollars worth of software to plug into Poser as well as files and files of resources bought from brush sellers/effects sellers and stock. it's one of those things that on the outside looks like an easy way to make art, the n you look into it and it's like...ouch Ouch...complex and you want HOW MUCH???


I don't really understand the problem with PI, I have sent them the site where the base model is sold, the actual creators website and her list of sellers, the paypal invoice from purchasing it, and also the screenshot of the actual store as I make the transaction. *yes I did have to purcahse the model AGAIN as obviously six years on I did not know I had to make a screenshot as I was buying it*

However my support ticket is still being looked at, and they said they would get back to me as soon as they could but that it needs a lot of thought and discussion.
I would just like to offer them on my site and know there is somewhere where people could display them.

As I can see that there is an artwork theft thread raging I would like to profer some of my work so you can be sure I am not an art thief.






Yes I am a poser artist, but as I tend to do an awful lot of over painting, the thing I would probabably most catogarise myself is a photo-manipulator, but instead of suing photos I make the stock I need using Poser.

My style is very apparent, I am also known as EmeraldSpider and Elise Morden. however anyone can just call me Sarah

They look very appealing!    As long as the work is yours and/or you have appropriate permission to use it as an adoptable here, we don't discriminate based on medium.  3D is fine.

I indeed own all relevant permissions for everything I own, and would have no problems at all producing them if someone so needs it.
Everything on Poser comes with a readme, it's just a case of digging em out of the file!
