I was wondering something about my boy. His description says "cream, no pattern, no markings" but per the website all reds, fawns and creams were supposed to have a pattern of some description. I know he's already been colored; is it too late to give him a tabby pattern?

Actually cream wasn't supposed to be listed on there apparently, it just hasn't been updated yet.

It is still true for Fawns and Reds, but Creams can be selfs :3

Oh, okay. It's just that I thought fawn referred to the dilution of chocolate, and cream to the dilution of red (so cream would be red-based and always show patterns, whereas fawn was black-based and didn't).

When you have a roestte cat it usually has a darker or lighter color inside the rosette marking. As such with yours being black and the rosettes being black you see basicly the lighter color thats inside the rosettes.

well you have to remeber there are different shades of 'black' lol. So the kitten is slightly darker then the mom and just done a bit different. That and probally different colorists. lol
