Yes, I had asked about that previously, but you may open any amount of catteries you want! So long as you're focused on breeding purebreds, it shouldn't be that difficult to have 3 or 4 catteries to space out all the breeds :3

And you can still breed felines during breeding season without a cattery, but in a cattery you can also breed outside of breeding season =D

I normally hate when people ask questions like this, but could anyone give me a really brief summary of how this adoptable works? I love the lineart and what I understand of the concept, but I keep getting bogged down by all the information on the website and not really comprehending x_X;; Right now I basically want to stalk for mimics of my 2 RL kitties, but I don't understand the grades or the positions or any of those finer points. *ducks*

OK, another question.  I see at the breeding desk in the Notary thread, naming forms for kittens.  Do we have to name them before seeing them then?  Or can we wait for them to grow (be colored)?  Or, if we name them, then see them and want to change the name to better suit, is that allowed?

If a Breeder registers a kitten/litter of kittens as 'B' Quality that means they cannot be bred, ever right?  Like, the new owner can;t someway re-register the animal as 'A' Quality and breed it?

Also..

You must have the following things to gain a cattery:
-4 grade A felines
-Signed Contract
-Proof of responsible breeding

• Is the contract a signed "statement" by us, or is it rather a document we are supposed to get people adopting our kittens to agree to and sign?
• What exactly constitutes "proof" of responsible breeding, and how do we go about obtaining it?

Males that are bred more than 5 times get a claim ticket, meaning you can claim an extra kitten for that season.

• Is this more then 5 times total or per season?  (with the phrasing of the sentence, I'm thinking it's like the Quinsta and goes on a per season basis.. just double checking that).  
• Does it matter who bred the male (your self, or another user borrowing the male for stud)?  Does it have to be 5 different people breeding the male?  For example, if I bred Timmy once, and Sue bred him once, and John bred him three times, would that count?  (those are things I was never fully clear on with the Quinsta either lol)

-You may only claim a total of 5 kittens each season.
-You may only breed a total of 3 females each season (unless of course you are a cattery)

If we are a cattery, we're allowed to breed more then 3 females a season, but what is the limit?  And are we still allowed to claim a total of 5 kittens then?

-You may only keep 3 kittens from each litter; all the others must be rehomed.

What happens to any kittens that weren't claimed/re-homed?

Okay im only going to answer those im pretty confident about answering lol.

First naming the kittens. I do not see the problem with wanting to wait till they are full grown. Or if you wish to name them now and then change the name once you see them. I wasnt thinking about that part when i created the forms.

Second when you register a Cat its registered. I do not believe a person can reregister it once its been done as a A quality or a B quality. you might be able to re register a pet from A to B but that would be down grading basicly not upgrading like going from B to A.

Third the signed statement. I believe that is a contract you have people sign like TheKennel had.

Forth the responsible breeding. I do not know the minimum for this part but basicly it means show us you wont inbreed or mix. (im mostly positive about this one but not fully sure)

Just a quick tid bit
You may register a kitten as A or B quality your choice, but you may not re-register it again. There is now an option to have felines fixed. Which is undoable, but if your trying to protect lines then thats the way to go.

Sculli I'll get to them after doing trade customs. Sunnies got breeding season pretty much in hand and is helping greatly with answering questions.

I am a little confused... to breed our cats, do we have to post the A quality registering form? Or are the ones on the websit already registered?
Also, my Calla's markings are incorrect, she only has a blaze listed and should have blaze and mits. Duck has his broken tabby listed under patternes, but you said he also has bi-colour, instead of mits, blaze and locket? Anyway the only pattern shown is broken tabby and no markings are shown, so something needs added. He also has no male symbol.

we have noticed the parts of the symbols missing in the certs of the CYOS. that will be taken care of ASAP.

As for breeding the cats you do need to PM the registering form. And if im correct i believe the Mystery woman has decided that those on the website that are starters will be automaticly registered but i do not know when that is to take affect. So registering now would be better safe then sorry.

and for the markings ill let mysterywoman and/or solistia look at them

Felines do NOT need to be registered to breed (though A-Quality registered come with the advantage of being able to produce more kittens :3)

Best way to know if the litter as a whole was registered is to ask the person you got the kittens from.

Otherwise, visit the Interactive link on the website, navigate to the Registering information, and simply fill out the A or B quality register information for your kitten (once they have an official ID number, which I believe they'll get after the 27th), and submit the required fees and PM FFC with the form :3
