Especially at the beginning, that is generally the effect of working out - you are building muscle, which weighs more than fat, so you gain a bit of 'weight', but it is healthier weight (and should include decreases in measurement... though that can take a little bit too)...  once the fat starts burning off more, then the weight stabilizes or decreases... at least, this is what I was told (and sort of figured out on my own) when I was working out regularly in the military

So my doctor said too. After two years of basic total body muscle atrophy I have a lot of muscle to tone back up. I actually gained an inch in each calf, but I did lose an inch off my tummy. At the moment I'm losing weight in the chest area *raises eyebrow at that*

Up to half an hour on the elliptical. Started at two minutes a few weeks ago XD I was really weak. And half an hour on the stationary bike isn't hard anymore, it's so easy I can read a book or play gameboy.

Impromptu helping my friend move today so I'm knackered and it's 8pm and there's no dinner done yet x.x so yeah.

I shall send the flatsale fishes and like go crash on the couch XD

One inch so far, and it definitely takes a weight off my back - which apparently has some sort of malformation my doctor is also looking into, joy!
