I've been having a really terrible week. Two 8 page papers both due tomorrow that were both assigned Wednesday (yes... 2 days), so those have basically been consuming my life. Add to that two quizzes and a midterm this week, plus all my "normal" homework, and I've literally done nothing but eat, sleep, and work since Sunday.

This incredibly handsome boy lifted my spirits tremendously <3 Cream is one of my all-time favorite genes (the other being roan), and I've been longing to start a double-cream Gypsy project. However, I don't inbreed Quin, which essentially made this goal impossible in Gypsies.

This boy changes all of that! I will be breeding my palomino mare to him, as well as sunchaser's Grace (managed to snag a RB). Crossing my fingers for a cremello or perlino foal... wish me more luck on this goal than I've been having with roan!

Ooh, I'd been wondering who you would pair Grace with, and I can hardly think of a better stud. Congrats on such a beautiful boy to pick you up out of your nasty work week. Nothing like golden horses to lift one's spirits. =)

And thinking about it, if I do end up pairing Persephone with Laurëon this season, that would mean three generations: grandmother Grace, mother Persephone, and daughter Anaróriel, all being paired with the same stallion. That actually amuses me highly.
