[Quinsta] Breeding help?

I have a few ideas of breeding projects this season, but i'd like some help on them. I'm probably mostly looking for vanners, but im interested in arabs too.
So this is both you telling me what colours would be best to breed, suggesting quins of those colours, and if you have a suitable quin and they're availiable, letting me know

-Firstly cream. Anything with cream! Silver dapple buckskin with dun would be amazing, or just buckskin dun.
-Black roan.
-Gruello (Blue dun)
-Mouse dun
-Silver dapple brown roan. Or Brown roan.
And anything else that anyone suggests i would like i'm listening

Roan should be a Vanner project for just, as there are already Grade projects to bring roan into Arabs and they are close to completing, yay!

I think a Dun x Roan vanner pairing would be good for you to increase odds of getting roan or dun and possibly even both

Blue dun roan would be a black coat with dun and roan modifiers, so you are trying for a black base. Best way to get a black base is of course to use two black Vanners, but I am not sure if there are black roans and duns widely available so be right back! If you can't find a black x black pairing with roan and dun then try to find Vanners that have produced black offspring or have a black parent as you know they are guaranteed to carry the "a" agouti gene ("aa" would be a black coat, so one "a" from both parents)

Oookay back. So there are multiple black mares that have roan, only one stud. There are also two black studs with dun and only one mare. So I would try to get a RB with one of the black roan mares and then pair her with one of the two black dun studs.

The first stud also carries silver dapple in case you want to try for that as well, but he is very long lined (goes on for 2 generations further than you can see on that page) so be careful with inbreeding.

So yeah I would try to get a RB with one of those girls and breed with one of those studs. It will guarantee you get a black coat for sure and then possibilities of at least roan and dun, possibly also silver dapple and tobiano depending on the pair you pick.

The way the dun will look is random and not decided by genetics (which is quite obvious when looking at the two silver dapple black roan girls over there xD) but spring's boy is defenitely the one with the shorter pedigree so it will be easier to get a non inbred foal so go you! =3
