On the corner of 5th and Secundi Main there stands a small aquatics shop. Though what is so peciular about this shop is that it only carries fish, and one type of fish. The owner swears by these fish, they have a "life time warrenty". She tells all the people who come in "They'll live forever so long as you give them water and food". Most people just walk away claiming the womans lost it but me I stuck around. She was right though, they do live forever. Most of the fish in the store outlived her and now I'm running the store, and I must say If I dont find homes soon I'll be over run by these odd little beings.

About a Phish
Phish come in almost all colors, and are often patterend fish. These fish live 10-200 years, usually the longer latter. These fish breed so long as there is a male and a female and a female can have babies about every two weeks.


Phish Tanks
These are just small glass tanks you can buy from me that come predecorated, and ready to go. These are only used for breeding and to house eggs & fry until they have grown.

Breeding Time Line

Day One>female bred Day One to Five>Eggs delivered Day 10>Fry Hatch Day 18>Grow to adults

(You can skip the wait if you want to name the fry or egg as soon as you get it, it will instantly grow to an adult)

Females can be bred on twice a month, however its not likely that if they are bred that often that they will have a large clutch or any babies at all.

Clutch sizes range from 1-5 and will remain in the breeding tank you've used until they are adults, they then get their own cert.

Babies are tradeable up until they are adults, once they are adults they are no longer tradeable. They must have names by adulthood or they will stay with me here at the shop.

Each "known" marking has a 25% chance of passing for each parent, each "unknown" marking has a 10% chance of passing.

You may "fix" offspring of your phish, that way if you have a special marking you dont want spread or dont want your lines tarnished you dont have to worry about it.

Phish Markings

There are a few known markings at this point, with breeding will come more. Unknown markings are custom markings that are ordered through customs. If you breed your "unknown" marked phish and it passes this marking to its offspring it becomes a known marking.

3. Is there any drawbacks to "overcrowding"? (for example filling the tank completely to its max)
4. Can a tank have more then one female pregnant in it, or do we need seperate tanks for each expecting mother?

The answer to these three questions is im an idiot and forgot to edit out that information. It was an orginal idea I abandoned lol. Tanks are only used for breeding and you may only use it for one breeding. So only one "female" per a tank.

BTW, if you want when certing in future you can just leave my name simply as Kadana.  I have adopts certed to me as both ways, I don't mind either way

Edit2: T, B, S on my boy I assume is to tell you his "hidden" markings?  How will you/we remember in future which marking the B & S is for?  I totally wasn't thinking of how these would be kept track of when ordering them and I apologize for that!

You just request it when they grow to adults, their cert will have an O with a slash through it instead of having the arrow for gender.

A. Yes when tanks are for sell you may purchase as many as youd like, however I do ask that you repect other users and give them a chance to so just be savvy on how many are for sale and how many you already have Sound fair?

B. Yes if youd like to breed PI phish & secundi phish you may. However heres how I'm going to do it. Since secundi is my nice little secluded small community you can 'only' do pi/secundi breeds on secundi. That way its fair but keeps that sorta of thing to a minimum. You may though, trade the eggs/fry on pi or secundi your choice.
