Feli Brag - Maries! UPDATE - Wow! She looks amazing!

Haha. What? Maries? Plural? As in ... more than one?

Yep!

I've got two Marie feli.
A couple breeding seasons ago, I was blessed with a litter of kittens. This was a fabulous litter of kittens, let me tell you. And I could only keep two of five! What a choice! But I did, I chose two.
And the night I had named them, something wonderful had happened. It was the last scored competition for marching band. Yes, it was a grand night. It's my second year in marching band, and on my first year (last year) on our last scored competition, we got a record breaking score. My first year in band, and I was a part of making a record!
And this year, we had to try and not get all cocky. No slacking. And it was hard, a ton of people were lazy and over confident.

But somehow... somehow we did it. It was a far trip home, so we got on the buses immediately, and we didn't get to have our score told to us. We had to sit on the buses and wait for an hour on our trip home to see our result.
An hour of waiting. It was such a long time.
I was thinking 'No way they'd make us wait if it weren't awesome. But what if they just didn't want to tell us the score because it was that bad?'
Yeah.

Well, we got back our score. And there it was. Another record. We beat last year's score. And that's impressive! It's a rather high score. I'd post it here, but it's not really something I should post so I won't.

Well, I got home that night and had to name my kittens. I knew exactly what two names I had to use.
Thomas, named after my band director's lastname.
Marie, named after our field commander.
And I was thinking to myself 'What if I ever get a Marie that cat? A Marie the aristocat? Should I name this cat something else?'
And after long thought, I decided yes. This cat was meant to be named Marie, and I knew that someday I'd have two Maries.


And now I do. :O I know, this cat isn't a Marie mimic. She's got no bows. But, oh. She's totally Marie. There would be no better cat to call Marie.

If only I could keep her a baby. XD I think she'll look amazing as an adult, but Marie is afterall... a kitten in the movie. Even so, I knew I needed this cat and I needed her to be Marie.

So, here they are.

My little Marie will grow with the next batch of growings, but I just had to brag her now.


ETA: Or, maybe she won't grow! TheLeet is the most amazing person ever. She's made my Marie into the Aristocat!

UPDATE - Marie! She's... she's.... she's  got.... ribbons! She's got her pretty pink bows!


Wow! Leet made her a permanent baby, and look at her Ribbons. Oh, Leet, thanks so much! I really love her. She looks fantastic!!
