I am keeping my two appies, and probably my two buckskins, but I have two bonus tickets, so I may trade the buckskins, but only for other uncommon coat colors (mostly interested in creams) I may also be interested in trading for RBs, but only in uncommon colors

I am now going to be giving away the last five of my quin. I am really hoping all of them can find new homes as I then will get another bonus ticket and be able to start work on bringing appy to the clyds next season, otherwise that project will be on hold.

Ok, I have changed how I am going to do this. The last five of my foals are now free to whom ever claims them first. I am really hoping to find homes for all of them so I can get a bonus ticket to use for next season to bring appy to clydes.

The first two I will still take offers on. If I trade one I probably won't trade for another foal, so that I can save one of my bonus tickets. But it would still have to be a great offer.

I wasn't sure one of them would pan out, and your foaly was my backup if the other didn't pan out, but it did, so... that takes up my two claims for this season, I'm very sorry!

I have seen you post before, Keilin, that you are interested in something or another that is for trade but you are waiting for another offer to pan out first, in which case you either A) say you will come back if the other offer doesn't work, or B) make an offer in which you say that if someone else is interested feel free to trade it to someone else. Had either of those happen, or even just Laney saying that she may not claim I wouldn't be so upset, but she left me to believe that she wanted this and then came back after I had sent in the claim and sent her the funds to pay the fees and said that she changed her mind.

From what she said here I got that she wanted one of mine reserved for her and that she had talked to multiple people. I never got that this was her last choice. I am just really disappointed with how this all went down and it leave a really bad taste in my mouth. I just don't think its right to ask for something to be reserved for you and not say outright that you may not take it.

But if anyone else is interested this one is now back up for trade and hopefully Silv wont mind it being re-permissioned.

Yes, this is exactly it, I had expressed interest on multiple threads, but I had not made a specific claim. Its why when coffee pointed out that I had enquired on two other threads, I did take the time to mention that yes, I had made an offer on another Quin Foal and was waiting to see whether or not my offer was accepted, and needed to wait a day or two before I could confirm what was going on.
Nowhere did I say "I am definitely claiming", I said it was a case of waiting.

And your SG has been sent back to you, with an additional amount as an apology, because, SO SORRY that I didn't know the specific protocol for how to express interest without making it sound like I was claiming, when I wasn't.

I said I would mark it as reserved for you and you thanked me. If you didn't want to claim it then I don't understand why you reserved it. You never said that you this was your last choice. I don't understand why there is a difference between reserving and claiming. I have seen no one else going around and reserving quin just so they can then choose the best one and tell the others no. Had I known that you did not intend to claim my quin unless your other offers fell through I would not have reserved it for you. I would have asked that you come back if were actually interested. But I am done with this. I don't want to deal with you anymore because you have left a very bad taste in my mouth with your whole attitude during this issue.

Also, I waited around three days before I sent in any forms. You told me it would be a day before you knew what was going (with which quin you never said) and I waited past then. You did not come back and say anything else until today when you backed out.

Reserving to me means, that yes, its on hold, so that in the interim, while you're waiting for someone to get back to you, someone else won't be able to claim it. You have it "held" because yes, you ARE interested, but not necessarily ready to make a claim yet. Its there IF you need it, but if not, then its no harm, no foul, because you haven't made a claim, you've just asked someone to "hold it" for you for a time, until you come back with a yes or no.
People do it every day.

And I waited the whole day for the other person to get back to me. I kept watching the thread, refreshing every few hours, and nothing came up.
I'm not on Secundi a lot, so it didn't occur to me that the person I was waiting for had PMed me. Most forums I go on, when someone has PMed you, if you refresh the page, a little popup comes up saying "so and so has PMed you, would you like to open in a new window", that didn't happen, I forgot that doesn't happen here, as I said, I'm very rarely on Secundi.
So it took me longer than that one day to realise that I had been PMed, and as soon as I realised, I got back to the person. I then had to wait, because I'd stupidly not realised for an entire day, that I had the PM. Yes, okay, I am THAT darn dumb to have not realised the little text in the top right hand corner saying I had a new PM, I wasn't looking for it.
So once I got back to them saying definitely yes, I was claiming, I had to wait for them to get back to me with confirmation before I could post here.
By that point, you'd already sent in Trade Forms.

Over on Keilins thread, there is even me, saying, right after I got her PM:

"I'm such a dork. Was staring at the thread to see about my offer, and didn't realise I had a new inbox message.

*headdesk*

I are fail!"

Because, yeah, I am fail, I didn't notice.
And I am sorry, but NOWHERE did I say I was DEFINITELY claiming this foal. Nowhere. I expressed interest, I mentioned I was waiting to hear back from someone, I fouled up on the waiting, by not seeing that I had a PM, so on my end, I was literally waiting for 2 days, and then when I finally cottoned on, I replied immediately and had to wait a little bit more. I couldn't confirm with you whether I'd been accepted or otherwise until I heard back the second time, with the other person confirming.
By this point, you'd already put in trade forms. And I was still waiting for the second reply.

SO forgive me for being the biggest idiot on the planet. Its not like I did it on purpose. I just sometimes am really THAT stupid.
I don't need you being ticked off with me, when it was a complete misunderstanding and accidents happen. Had I noticed the PM sooner, I could have gotten back to you sooner, but I didn't. It happens.
