+Little Chimaera+ What is this?

Okay, i said id do another rp and here it is. This is not going to be a giant rp with many prizes but ill definatly throw in some items as well as some premade chims.


Here is how this rp is going to work. Your chim/s have come across a labriynth. It is made of grass and is the picture of beauty. But should you enter you will find yourself immediantly lost. If i where you id choose a party to go in and find out what lies at the center of this labriynth.

You can choose to go by youself or with a party. This is completly up to you. However while moving through the maze you will come across other chims. You will also come across monsters oh boy O.O. Are you prepared?



Rules:
Be good
You may bring in more then one chim however you must keep track of them all.
If you dont own a chim thats fine create one out of your head and post a small descirption in your first post so people can see what it looks like.
When going threw the maze you can make up chims that you see. You can make up monsters as well however i will also be throwing in random Chims and monsters that your chim has to interact with in some way shape or form. This is to give those that want to rp for a long time, more muse and those that just want to do a small rp a chance to learn.
If you have questions PLEASE PM me OR ask in the Home thread for the chims.
No limit to how big a post has to be just make sure people can reply to it.


I think thats it... agian any questions feel free to post and ill also be bringing in a couple of my chars. Feel free to interact with them for i want to have fun with this rp as well ^__^

The light of the world was just glimmering over the edges of Secundi. Sara had just left Marshall to his work and was just wondering around, looking for a new place. However she wasnt expecting a big maze to pop up in front of her. She looked at it, with its grassy edges and roses trailing along the entrance. She tilted her head, her brown eyes widening slightly as her wings shifted on her back.

"Well... this could be fun. I wonder if anyone else is around here." She looked around for she didnt want to enter the maze alone but she was curious what was inside. Yes she could fly but what would the point then be of the maze?

[hiyoko]

"Come on Mufasa!" Cries the white flying fencat with navy colored spots

"Yeah, why are you so slow?" Laughs the other flying fencat with green spots.

"Hey! That's not fair, I can't fly!" Cries the little male Maenah as he tries to keep up with the female fencats.

"What's that?" The twin fencats say together. Being curious they fly towards the grass maze.

"Wait for me!" The maenah runs after them.

I wanna go in!" The purple fencat says interestingly.

"I don't know, Kura, we should wait for mom to come."

"Oh Jewel, you're such a baby." Laughs Kura as she walks toward the entrance, where an adult Fencat was.

[Ryuukokoro]

The tall grass parted and a flash of orange was seen, then vanished. A rustling was heard off to the right and again a bright flash of color appeared for an instant. All of a sudden a bright furry head poked out and blinked slitted yellow eyes.

The yellow eyes looked left and right. "Where am I?" said the little Flit in a faint, whispery voice. "Thisss place is ssstrange."

The little Flit came out of the tall grass, shouldering the stalks aside. He saw a group of Chims standing together nearby and trotted over. The one in the center seemed to be a winged Fencat with yellow and blue wings. "Are you lossst?" Jokka whispered to the others, wondering if they were like him.

[hiyoko]

Jewel turns around and sees the orange flit with sharp fangs. "Not really, we were playing and were curious as to what this is." As she finished her answer, she slowly inches away from the the flit, as she is afraid of him.

Kura, unlike her little sister,  and Mufasa moved toward the flit. "Wow, you have large fangs." said Kura interestly. Mufasa nodded his head, "I want fangs like that when I'm older!"

Sara chuckled softly as she saw the intereaction with the others. "You are only lost of you are not searching for adventure." She moved forward a litlte bit to give her wings room to move and get more comfotable. "Perhaps you all would like to join me for a adventure into this maze?" She looked at all of them, wondering if perhaps anyone else would show up for tihs excursion.

[hiyoko]

Just as Kura is about to answer the older fencat, her mother Michiko lands beside her. "I finally found you three." just now seeing the maze, along with the other fencat and flit. "What's this?"

Jewel is the first to answer her mother."Its a maze mother, we can have an adventure!" Mufasa and Kura nod their heads.

[Ryuukokoro]

Jokka felt relieved that the others didn't seem as lost as he himself felt. It was good to be with people who felt confident and secure. Especially since he often didn't.

He blushed a little, embarrassed, as they pointed out his large fangs. Fangs had always made him feel self-conscious. No other Flits had fangs like he did. He thought he was some sort of freak. He looked up at the Maenah with big eyes wide in surprise when Mufasa spoke. Someone wanted fangs? Jokka couldn't imagine such a thing! He just wished he could get rid of his! He tried to think up something to say to Mufasa, but his mind was drawing a blank.

Next Jokka listened to the Fencat with blue and yellow wings and turned to examine the maze. "I will go forward asss well," he said, feeling bolstered by the presence of what he hoped would be friends. "I have alwaysss wanted an adventure."

[Sunchaser]

Sara smiled as she looked around and listened to them all. She nodded to the mother that landed and looked behind her at the maze. "OKay then a adventure it is!" She laughed softly before moving forward to the entrace, feeling the air seem to cool just slightly as she steped first into the maze. "Do we want to wait for others or go in now?" She looked behind her as she stayed in that one position, half in half out of the maze.

In the distance a dark figure approached the group at a fast trot. As it reached the group at the entrance it slowed and then came to a stop beside the group.  You could now see that it was a dark Maenah with lightning on his back and spots on his belly. For a few seconds after he stopped his entire body appeared to vibrate with energy. His eyes roved over the group of chims before he smiled charmingly at them. His eyes flicked up to look at the maze before dropping back to them.

"I am guessing that you are planning to venture into the maze. I have passed by it many a time but haven't had the chance to see for myself what is contained within. If no one objects I would be delighted to join you in your adventure" He asked graciously.

From behind a rock an adolescent grim crept out. She watched the group at the entrance to the maze with wary but curious violet orbs. The fact that she saw other young chimaera gave her the courage to venture closer to the group. Her red and green coat stood out quite a bit from the vegetation so she knew that they would have no trouble noticing her. When the dark maenah appeared she dropped her body to the ground out of habit. Slowly she crept closer to the group so that she would be able to hear their conversation.

[Winged]

Spry heard voices coming from nearby, so loped over to them silently. After waiting warily for a moment, he walked forwards when he heard the tan fencat ask if the group wanted to go in.
"If you wouldn't mind, i would like to join you," he said in his soft, lilting voice, "I am often bored and love to find something new to do. I hope i am not late?"
Spry then tossed his silky head and gazed intently at those there, waiting to see if they were allowing newcomers.

Sara Smiled at the new commers and nodded her head. "Yes please join us in this maze." She wiggled slightly for she was becoming hyper with the thought of adventure in her mind. She moved forward slowly, making sure the others where following her. "Which way? Left or right?" She turned to each of them and waited. This would be a vote of course and most votes would win. or they could split up though she hoped they wouldnt.

Michiko, not knowing what to do, since the kits are with her and Kuro is not. She looks at the little ones, who are smiling with joy while looking at the maze. "What do you think little ones?" Jewel, Kura and Mufasa all say "Left!" Shrugging her shoulders, she agrees. "We say left."

[Winged]

Spry's eyes suddenly flashed with excitement, picking up the other's mood. "Hmm, tricky question but i say right!" He danced around, looking at the other Chims. "What do you say?"

[Ryuukokoro]

Jokka felt nervous. He didn't know which way was the right way! How could he give his opinion? What if he gave the wrong answer?

The little Flit calmed down when he saw no one else looked worried. Everyone else seemed to be having fun. So maybe it wasn't a big deal which way they went? "Well, left, I sssuppossse," the little Flit said after he considered both ways.

[Aralie]

Zander smiled happily at being allowed to join the growing group of chims. When Sara asked her question he thought for a minute before giving his answer. "Both ways look interesting but I vote right."

Smiling shyly at the group Christy gave her opinion in a quiet voice. "I think left would be nice." After giving her opinion Christy carefully moved over closer to the other youngsters, not used to being around so many adult chims she felt more comfortable with those closer to her own age.

[Sunchaser]

Sara listened to each and as each cast a vote she nodded. "Left it is then." She moved to the left, the maze seemed to cast shadows on all of the creatures in the maze. As they moved it seemed as if a mist was starting to shroud the maze floor, soon getting so think you couldnt see what you feet were walking on.

Sara shivered as a cool chill started to fill the air. Maybe left whasnt so smart after all. She shook herself though for she was with friends. That and she was on a adventure. She smiled over her shoulder before following a turn that went right. They must be on the outer edge of the maze still but why all this fog? She had no idea but she would keep herself and the others safe.

Soon they came upon another cross roads. They could go straight or take a right. Which would they choose? She turned to the others. "Which way this time?"

[Ryuukokoro]

Jokka was feeling more confident this time. So far everyone had been having a lot of fun! He was starting to relax. "I sssay ssstraight," he offered.

As he turned to talk to the Ryuki standing beside him, Jokka's green eyes widened. What was all this fog? He quickly turned to look at the blue and yellow winged Fencat to see if she noticed too. "It'sss too warm for fog today," he commented in his whispery voice. "Isssn't that ssstrange?"

[hiyoko]

Jewel and kura, though she won't admit, became scared as the maze became foggy. They lowered their wings and walked closer to their mother. Mufasa isn't too afraid of the fog, he's mostly too excited to care. "I agree, straight sounds great." Michiko doesn't care which way they go, as long as her kits are safe.

[Winged]

Spry snorted in suprise when he saw the mist. He thought it was very unusual mist, so clingy and cold. Seeing that the others looked nervous, he smiled to make them feel better, especially the kits. "How about a right turn? It looks like the mist thinns down there and i know i would feel better once i can see my paws!"
He turned to Jokka, "Yes, you're right that it is unusual. I suppose it is the maze trying to make us lost" He said, a little nervously.

[Aralie]

As Christy saw the fog creaping in and then surrounding them she edged closer and closer to Sara. Her eyes darted around rapidly as she kept a close look out for anything coming out of the fog. Since she hadn't been paying as close attention to the group she jumped when Sara asked which way they should continue. "S straight s sounds good t to me." Christy stuttered out.

Zander's steps became shorter and quicker as the fog thickened around them. He was not overly used to sticking around if he didn't feel safe in a place, he was more likely to use his speed to get away. The difference here was that he wasn't by himself like usual and eventhough he had just met the others his personality would not allow him to leave them and take off. "I think right looks like a promising direction." He responded to Sara.

[Sunchaser]

Sara looked at the younger ones and when Christy jumped she gave a soft smile adn nuzzled her slightly. "Its okay." She turned to Jokka and nodded her head. "Yes i agree that it is rather odd. We will be going straight as the vote has gone that way. If nothing else we can always turn back." She smiled at the others before going forward. The fog seemed to grow thicker and thicker.

Sara shivered and turned right as that was all she could turn to to keep going. However she stoped as she heard a small growl. Her wings spread slightly to block the younger ones incase somthing bad was in front of them. She looked over her shoulder a moment before turning back to the sound of the growl. "What do you want to do? Run or fight?"


(OOC: I am so thankful you guys are still here to rp Ill be giving out prizes throughout the rp. If people still wish to join us they can, they can say something like they where trailing behind and just now decided to make themselves known or you can start chosing your own choices and ill give you what happens ))

[hiyoko]

Mufasa steps forward from the fog, his now long mane surrounding his face. "I say we fight." his large paws and sharp claws. Michiko shields jewel an kura with her wings, just in case anything happens.

[Ryuukokoro]

Jokka felt fear from the tips of his ears to the tuft of fur on his tail, in every inch of his body. He was not a fighter! He wanted to run away more than anything, especially when he heard sera ask if they should go or stay.

But when Jokka saw Mufasa step forward, the little Maneah who had liked his fangs, he found he just couldn't turn tail and run. And he couldn't let Mufasa stand alone! With shaking legs, Jokka stepped forward. "I-I s-s-s-say we fight," he whispered.

[Winged]

Spry growled and stepped foward. "I say fight!" He said, the hair all along his back bristling. "If we run now we'll just get even more lost than we already are. Besides, that thing probably knows what it's doing in here so it'd catch us"
He peered into the mist, his eyes narrowing when he heard another growl from infront of them.

[Aralie]

Seeing the rest of the chims decide to fight Zander stepped forward aswell. His usually quick stepping paws settled calmly on the ground and his body settled into a crouch as he replied. "Fight." Was the single word uttered before his muzzle wrinkled in a low snarl in the direction the growling had come from.

Christy's frightened body stance fell away as soon as she heard the growling. Her muscles tensed in expectation of a fight and a quiet growling rumbled out of her throat.

[Little Chimaera]

Sara nodded her head. She would keep the smaller ones back in case whatever was in front of them was to strong. However it seemed there was no need to fight. The fog seemed to dissapear and soon a creature was revealed. However it was a baby Squibbit. It was back in the corner of the dead end. It had apparently gotten lost and was scared.

Sara smiled softly and a small aww sound came from her lips. She liked babies. She moved forward slowly, letting her wings close behind her back. "Shhh little one its okay. We wont hurt you." The male squibbit whimpered slightly as he saw the pack in front of him. Sara looked behind her. "Any ideas?" They would have to turn around anyways cause of the dead end but what to do about the baby?

[hiyoko]

Seeing the baby Squibbit, Michiko lets her wings down. "Ah, he's soo cute." Jewel and Kura fly close to where the baby is to Sara. "Wanna play?" The twins smiled at the little boy happily. Mufasa retracted his claws and softened his eyes at the baby.

[Ryuukokoro]

"A baby?" Jokka blinked, looking down at the tiny shivering thing. He didn't know anything about babies, but he knew this maze with its twist and turns and strange fog was no place for one. "It'sss close here. Sssshould we bring him outssside to find hisss parentsss?"

[Aralie]

Seeing the little one Zander relaxed and smiled. He was very happy that they didn't have to fight but he wasn't happy that the little one was here by itself. After flashing a welcoming smile at the new addition he turned to watch back the way they had come. They were at a dead end and wouldn't be able to escape if something approached them now.

Christy crept over to the new young chim. "Hello" She greeted with a smile and a wag of her tail.

[Sunchaser]

The little squibbit ended up going over to Jokka, seeing him as the more fierce and as such the one that could protect him. He moved forward and just say next to him looking at him with adoration in his eyes.

Sara smiled a Jokka. "Seems your his parent now." She moved back and turned around, Taking a left as that was the only way they could go. The fog started to disperse as the came into a four way intersection. She looked at the others. " Left, Straight or right?"

[Winged]

Spry chuckled slightly as the squibbit moved over to Jokka, and looked at the smake-like flit, wondering what his reaction would be.
He peered round the tall hedges, trying to see what may be ahead. From the left hand path came a strange, low grumbling noise. "Do you hear that?" He whispered, "I think we should go left and try to see what it is."

[Ryuukokoro]

Jokka didn't know what to say! He wasn't used to babies but this one was looking right at him! "U-um, h-hi," he said softly, watching the little Squibbit's tail start to wag.

Jokka didn't want to travel back through the maze by himself, who knew what dangers could be around. So he decided he would have to keep going with the group and keep the Squibbit close to his side instead of leaving the maze with him.

Following along the group, he paused at the intersection when everyone else did. The grumbling noise that Spry heard on the left made his orange fur stand on end. "P-perhapsss we should avoid it and go straight," Jokka said.

[Aralie]

Christy smiled seeing the little squibbit go over to Jokka. She trotted off to join Sara and looked down all of the paths they could go. Hearing the grumbling from the left she made her choice. "I agree with Spry, I think we should go left."

Zander smiled at the exchange and turned back to Sara as she asked which way they should go. "I say right. It looks like an interesting way to go."

[hiyoko]

Michiko smiles as the baby Squibbit walks over to Jokka. Mufasa nods his head at the little one's action as he asks for the twins to come back to him and their mother. "Get back over here you two, who knows what else is around here."

[Sunchaser]

Sara listened to the chims. Two chims wanted to go left one wanted to go straight and one wanted to go right.  "Well most votes win So i guess we go left." She moved off and the fog started to entrall everyone, coming so think that Sara stoped moving and looked behind her. She could see the one directly behind her but that was in. "I think we need to all be touching tails at least." She looked at them before moving forward. However it wasnt a moment before she ran into somthing. She heard the growl and looked up into what could only be called a giant dinosaur. Her eyes widened and she yelped, moving behind her adn trying to move everyone away. "RUN!"

The Giant monster roared and flames came from its lips, the mist dispersing where the fire hit it.

[hiyoko]

The two young fencats fly into the air, both are now adults, and soar around the beast so everyone can escape. Mufasa, also being an adult, releases his claws and stands before everyone, ready to fight the monster. Michiko, afraid for her girls, flies up in the air to aid them in distracting the monster.

[Ryuukokoro]

Jokka pushed the little Squibbit to the rear of the group. "Take cover!" he hissed, before turning around and running back toward the head of the line. His new friends were in danger!

Jokka bared his fangs as he saw the monster eyeing them. He couldn't fly like the Fencats could, but he had an impressive weapon of his own. Maybe his fangs would come in handy after all! He stepped up to Mufasa and stood next to him so they provided a unified assault.

Sampson, the young Squibbit, shook so hard his paws skittered on the small rocks along the ground. First he got lost in this awful place, and now this! He couldn't move for fear, he could only stare at the giant monster and his protectors standing before it.

[Winged]

Spry growled and lowered his head towards the monster. He may not have as many wepons as the others but his horns were hard and his teeth sharp.
"We have to attack together, it's too big otherwise!" He shouted at the others who were fighting.

[Sunchaser]

The monster yelled and bellowed at the fencats that where flying around his head. The creature stomped his feet and blew more fire, aiming for the mist. He growled out before he seemed to shiver. "Okay your not monsters stop stop!" THe figure slowly shrank to reveal a elder squibbit. "Gosh cant leave a darn old creature alone can you? well young whipper snappers perhaps you can help me get to the center of this dang blasted thing and find my Glasses!"



Sara was startled when the thing started to shimmer. She had moved to guard the squibbit youngling knowing that the snake flit would be better to attack then she herself was. She looked at the elder and rose a brow. "Your a shape shifter!"

The green/grey creature turned to her as she spoke."Of course i am you little whipper snapper! What else would i be huh?"

[hiyoko]

Embarassed, the fencats lower to the ground. "I'm sorry sir, we didn't know." Michiko bows her head at the elder squibbit. Mufasa nods his head. "Yeah, we were scared. Is there anything we can do for you?"

[Ryuukokoro]

((AW what a great coloring job on him, Sun! Love the muted colors and the wavy stripes))

Jokka's jaw hung down at his saw the great and terrifying beast transform into the familiar shape of a Squibbit. He squinted. Or was it a Squibbit? He had never seen one like that before. Perhaps that was just what a Squibbit looked like when it got old?

He looked down at Sampson, who was watching the Squibbit Elder with shining eyes, and immediately Jokka felt his heart squeeze. He didn't want Sampson to leave him... he was just getting used to the little fella.

Not feeling very respectful at the moment, Jokka turned and gave the Elder a fierce glare. "Why did you try to attack us and scare us!?" he demanded.

[Winged]

Spry narrowed his eyes and growled softy in suprise. "I hope you don't think me rude, but who exactly are you? Or is what a better word shifter?" he asked suspiciously. He felt respect for this Squibbit, he was an elder, but Spry was also very wary.
He looked over at Jokka, "I agree with him, why attack us if you want our help?" He demanded of the Elder.

[Aralie]

Christy watched the elder squibbit warily. She couldn't tell if he was to be trusted as he had attacked them without provocation. Since some of the others didn't seem to quite trust him either she didn't feel bad about being wary.

Zander relaxed his stance after seeing the creature turn into a squibbit. "We are sorry for attacking you sir, but in our defence you did attack us first." He replied in a curteous tone.

[Sunchaser]

The squibbit snorted. "I heard a bunch of creatures coming towards me when i couldnt see past my nose. I am not stupid so i changed into somthing big, and breathe a bit of fire to to clear up the fog. If you noticed i didnt Aim at you now did i?" He snorted and shuffed over to Spry. "You look like a fine young one. I am sticking with you." The creature climbed onto Sprys back and sat there. "Now lets get going Youngers. I need my glasses!"

Sara was take aback by the attitude of this elder but decided to go ahead and keep moving. THe fire had gone out. "Lets just go, perhaps we can find his glasses and also the middle of this maze. I wonder what will be there." She smiled as she looked at the others.

(ooc: Congrats winged dreams! I kinda gave you a big of his attitude and you can choose to change him as you rp or keep him as he is. Send a name to Siurin, ill import him when im able to Or cert him if thats what you preffer0

((Sorry, i've been pretty bust recently, and kinda forgot about this. Great, i won that elder! I'll send a name in now, and importing would be great. Oh and as a note for everyone, the elder squibbit is called Gordon))

Spry jumped in suprise as the squibbit climbed on his back, but decided he didn't really mind. "No problem, i'll help you find your glasses." He said gently to this new friend of his. Gordon didn't reply anything inteligable, just muttered under his breath.
He turned to Sara, "Yes, i agree that we should keep moving on."

[hiyoko]

Seeing the elder Squibbit go to Spry, Michiko, Jewel, Kura and Mufasa discuss about what they should do now. Then their turned around and nod their heads in agreement about going further into the maze

[Ryuukokoro]

Sampson, the young Squibbit, still eyed the Elder Squibbit with adoration. Jokka shifted uncomfortably, wondering if Sampson would be happier with a real family and not a strange, shy, fanged Flit like himself. But he still stayed protectively close to the baby, whom he felt responsible for.

When the others agreed to go further in the maze--especially Mufasa, who Jokka was fond of--the snake-eyed Flit nodded his head in agreement. "Yesss, going back would take too long..." he said quietly. "Maybe the middle of the maze will have an exsssit."

[Aralie]

Seeing that the elder had joined their group Christy shrugged and padded over to Sara. "I agree, we might as well continue."

Zander nodded his head in agreement. "I agree with Jokka, it would take quite a while to go back to the entrance."
