There may be a bot database or something like it that knows how to infiltrate secundi... Maybe silvanon should just get reCAPTCHA or something. (It annoys me, too, but if that's the only way to stop them then it's worth it.)

There is a reCAPTCHA for Secundi when you sign up, I'm fairly certain. But perhaps there is a bot database and once one figures out how to get through on a particular forum, it is updated for all other bots. >.o

Already new registrations have to click a link sent to their email to activate their account, the registration process includes a "human check" question and a captcha test.  I think we're dealing with real live human spammers, not just bots, and the best we can do is deal with them as they come.

Would it maybe be possible to create a sort of spam-fighting committee made of users with just enough moderator rights to get rid of the spam/bots? That way our eagle eye members could just take care of the bots themselves rather than post here for an admin to take care of the issue.
