Dr. Kayesh frowns at his lab, hands on his hips as he stares around at spooky and creepy decorations that seem to have magically appeared.  He's been so engrossed in a project for his cousin that he entirely missed out on the Halloween sprite who put up cobwebs, ghouls, skeletons, and the like all around the lab.  

A plate of pumpkin cookies sit out on a counter with a little orange note:

Happy Halloween, Dr. K!  Sppppoookkkyyy things are around the corner!  But don't worry, I made cookies!  Also, some of the blobbies got into some of my decorations.  Whoops!  They look really cool, though! ~Lory

The scientist groans and quickly goes to check on his experiments.  This is what came of having assistants!

It's the spooky season!

Dr. K's lab has been messed with and now there are five spooky WildGrowths that need homes!  There are contests and events for the season!  All events begin as soon as they are posted and end October 31st at midnight (00:00:00), forum time!

Some spppoookkyyy items will also be showing up, as well as some of the brand new scissors!  Be on the look out for the contests and watch this post for other updates (should they occur).

Are they twins?  Well, almost.  Dr. Kayesh only had one purple blobbie when he left, but, now that's returned, there are two of them!  What did Lory do to these blobbies?

Somewhere in this pumpkin patch is a blobbie that swallowed a pumpkin WHOLE!  Now he looks just like the pumpkins around him!  If you want a chance to find the pumpkin WildGrowth, you'd better pick up a pumpkin and see if it bounces! (Don't worry, a few good bounces won't hurt him; he'll enjoy it!)

This creepy little blobbie. . . looks like a puddle of blood!  Oh, dear!  Didn't someone say that blood can dissolve pennies?  LET'S TRY IT!  Everyone throw in your pennies, one after the other and we'll see when it starts spitting them back out.  The blobbie may get irritated and throw something back; be ready to catch it!

Gooey Pages

Looking around, you see a lab transformed.  Skeletons and pumpkins decorate the area, cobwebs hang from the ceiling and tables.  It's spooky and fun. . . except for that one cobweb up by the windows.  Unlike the others, it is not whispy and white and only half attached to drift aimlessly with the breezes caused by movement in the room.  No, this is a bright, almost glowing green on a paler green base and, though it seems to quiver from time to time, each of its movements come when there is no breeze to cause them.  So creepy!

Worse still, however, is after you look around a bit longer, your eyes go back to that corner to discover. . . the glowing cobweb is gone!  You look around swiftly, almost in a panic.  There it is!  Above the door now.  How did it get over there?



You guessed it, this is a blobbie!  It leaves behind strings of glowing green goo and quivers when you poke it, but it's definitely alive.  For this event, you must write up a little RP!  It seems to have quite the mischievous personality, so write about it doing a prank.  You can either write the blobbie pranking someone, or the person who's being pranked. 

At the top of your entry, post in green and bold Gooey Pages as your title.  (Your post does not need to be in green or in bold.)

All entries will be entered into a randomized draw for the blobbie, but really excellent pranks will receive an extra entry!  Be creative and write away!

Well obviously, but I think some more clear rules posted would be helpful. Like is there a certain day/time that the players don't know about that marks the 'end' of the game, or something like that? Otherwise the one running the game could just wait until a certain person posted and then declared them the winner. Not that I think anyone on Secundi would do that, but for fairness sake I was just wondering the specifics of the game.

Yeah but if you make it a certain time everyone is going to wait until close to that time and then throw all at once. Same with the pumpkin game. If you would say the 40th throw would be the real pumpkin then everyone is gonna try getting that and the game might stall. So it has been predetermined, but cannot be seen by us *or so I have been told* Also keep in mind that there are several staff members now, so it's not really possible to cheat if they predetermined the amount and time together.

(Ah! Sorry for being confusing!  I was trying to be clear and make sure all of the info was already up!  lol

I will begin replying on each event soon, but, basically, there is a magical number that will cause a pumpkin to bounce rather than smash. . . That number is which pumpkin picked up is actually a blobbie!  To give everyone a fair chance, you can only throw one pumpkin a day to see if it bounces.

Blood blobbie can only assimilate so many pennies before it just can't handle anymore!  Again, at a certain number he will stop taking pennies.  However, each time you a throw a penny, there's a chance that he'll throw an item at you.  These are official WildGrowth items. 

And, yes, in the Rules and Info section it states that all games officially end at 00:00:00 (I hope that's midnight, because otherwise i mean. . .24?:00:00.  Sorry, I'm still confused by the forum clock.) on the 31st.  The two games up right now will actually end sooner (I hope!) and, if not, all entries will be randomized.  But the numbers aren't that high, so it should end well before the 31st. 

There will be a 1SG auction, I hope, and I'm thinking about an RP event as well.  Those will hopefully get written up very late tonight or sometime tomorrow.
