*hugs* is ok, life tends to creep up on us when we least expect (or want) it to lol I've been rushing around trying to get ready to go back to school myself, but seems I won;t be going back now till spring, cause I lack some key things I need for the course I want to take.

yea, I have MS office 03 on my comp, but I need 07.  Am a bit.. peeved, that they are forcing me to upgrade, but saying I need an older version still.  Walmart people act like I'm insane, and smarted off how "we upgrade just like everyone else!" 

And the college bookstore doesn't carry it either.  Walmart was actually where they sent me lol  The lady at Walmart suggested I try going to Microsoft themselves for a copy.  but meh that would cost more I think?

Annd have to replace my CD drive since I will be attending classes online form home, and will need a working one.  Mine stopped working some ime ago.  The comp guy quoted me 200 bucks to order and install one.  He tried making it sound like such a good deal, that 200 would cover the cd drive, the tax, S&H and instalation.. I found one at Walmart for $52.  So I grabbed that, and am hoping like heck it will work.  It does everything my current one used to do, plus some.. just not sure if it will "fit" inside it, as I have a little shuttle comp..

And then to wait and see if my PELL grant is approved lol!

*buries herself in jumpers and SC's and Quinsta and all the other pretty adopts*  Actually.. I think I will go play wow, and relieve my anxiety/frustrations on some poor unsuspecting mobs lol

technology, such a problem maker >< and actually, going straight to microsoft might be cheaper cause it's like an outlet i think..or something like that. i know with most other stuff if you buy direct it's cheaper, cause stores raise prices to make profits ^^

yikes, $200 is crazy high o.O ours cost $20 to replace just cause it was a discontinued model. hopefully it does fit, cd drives shouldn't differ that much ever if the computer is different.

what's PELL? the first thing that popped into my head was pelican and i'm pretty sure that's not it lol
