Secundi dogs can still be entered into the shiny and competed in the stamina, agility and conformation events.  SO I believe the champ packs are still of use.

well, if I am right, then they still need the leash, same as always before they can enter.  The entire champ pack was never required, just gave bonuses.  But the leash was (and I think is) still required, in order to compete.

Kadana - Chopin didn't have a champ pack to begin with.  I'm not equipping new champ packs to imported dogs, they only get one if they had one in their original image.

indigo - read through the thread and you'll notice that I said I'm not doing old imports because with the new way we're doing things I needed more extensive info on the import.  I gave a new form and asked that old undone imports be reposted with the new form.  Your dogs didn't get imported because you didn't repost them.  Your current import round count is at 0.  You may post those two or two other dogs, using the new form, for import this round.

Later on we'll definitely allow you to equip champ packs to Secundi dogs that don't yet have one.  But, that's a seperate step from importing the dog.  Importing already takes a ton of time (far more than doing new tags) so I'm not going to add more work onto that by allowing new equips right now.

I requested that the pack seen above would become my first standard, but I don't think that ever happened? I don't see it on the owner gallery among the other standard packs.

If you have puppies that are on the kennel forums waiting to be grown, if you want them imported into Secundi instead of being certed, and they have a *C1* next to the topic name I can import them now. Post here, with the litter and the name of your dog if you want this to be done. I'm leaving this open for a week. After that all the remaining dogs will be sent to Garney to be certed.

I am new to Secundi, and the whole business here, and I've scanned the forums for answers to questions, but I'm just... Lost.

Is this open to -anyone- who wants their dogs imported into Secundi? And all dogs are able to be imported? As well, I read earlier you couldn't import champ packs with the dogs, but we're able to now? Meaning we won't lose any champ packs that are equipped to dogs?

Sorry to ask so many questions, but I'm totally lost here and I'd love to get back into the Kennel if at all possible.

Shlee, importing dogs is open to anyone who owns dogs yes, but you have to have an import titcket for every dog you want to import.  Those, when they are restocked, can be found by clicking the blue Secundi banner at the top of this page, clicking the Agencies tab, clicking the Kennel, then clicking the Kennels store link. You can import two dogs per round that is opened.

As for champ packs, and ribbons your dog may have won, they will be brought over as well, and placed in a special box under your dog.  The catch with the champ packs is that Silvanon only has the dog images.  So if you have a dog with a champ pack equipped you have 3 choices..

1. Let the champ pack disappear
2. Have that exact champ pack returned to your owner folder later by a worker who has the file for it
3. Request a standard champ pack be put in your owner folder to replace the one equipped to your dog (please specific which standard you want)

A Standard is one of your personal standards, or one of your kennel standards.  If you have none, the kennel has basic colored ones.  However, I'm not sure if the basic colored ones count/are allowed in this instance.  You'd have to wait for someone else to say..

A couple more questions then, if you all don't mind (since you probably  know). Are the Kennel forums themselves still being used at all? There was a trade sent around a week ago, maybe a little less, but it hasn't been looked at yet, nor has the post I made in the general chat area. If not, then are there other links here on Secundi that I should be going to instead?

Also, is there a thread or anything about opening up slots for standards for people that don't have them? And are Kennel registrations still open if I make a website? Will I still need to go through the process that's on the kennel website?

Sorry to ask so much, like I said... I got real behind and really wanted to get back into the Kennel and stuff, want to get registered and breed and all that, so just trying to get myself organized and up to date. XD

Yes, the kennels forums are still being used.  Dog trades are posted there in the trade forums for one thing, and the reguler kennel comp results are posted there as well (in the fairground, I think).  It's slow though, and you need a bit of patience when waiting on things.  November was nano month, and thats always a slow month, but then life decided to slap a lot of folks around a bit, making things even slower.  The trades will get taken care of, it will just take some time.

I don't know if they are taking orders for personal/kennel standards atm.  With so much else they need to do, those may be on hold.  but again not sure.

As for the registered kennels, it has been said that we cna still have the kennels, even if our dogs are on secundi and no longer certed the old way.  But wether it is required to have a registered kennel or not, I'm not sure.  Can;t remember if it was said or not now.
