I think Agility may be the highest because it is the first week and a new thread goes up.  I tend to forget sometimes the rest of the month.

Lectral.. when entering a dog into the shiney using the Secundi id, am I remembering right that we need to put a s in the id number?

So for example my dog Brando with System ID:    119059 would be entered into the shiney with the id# s119059

I thought I remembered a post about this, but I can't find it now.  So apologies for being a pain in the butt

ETA: He (Brando) isn't equipped yet, so I'm not trying to enter him right now, I just have his page open and noticed no kennel id, and it made me think, so thought I'd ask now and used him as an example.

ETA #2: I have 8 dogs I need transferred into my account in the shiney, and 1 dog that I am unsure if she is already in the shiney or not, as she has no agency ID only Secundi and I wasn't sure how to try and add that.

The first two dogs on the list were got from the same person, if that helps.

With the higher numbers, the -s is not necessary (though, the -s would go at the end of the number, not the beginning) - only for numbers below 2412 (I think), as that is where the Secundi numbers would cause conflicts with the pre-Secundi dogs

I'll take care of those dogs after the comp, I think.  I need to gather the list and roll some dice now; hubby had the comp all morning, but he's getting ready to head off to work, so I will work on the comp and that transfer in just a few minutes

Edit: Also, Aashka does not appear to be in the shiny, but I will check once more before I switch everyone, just to be sure

Aww, either the number 1 really likes me (I think my Vampire game last night confirms that) or the dice god doesn't. I already knew that last one though. I can't show my superiority by dunking errant dice in the fish tank anymore. XD

Yup, if you match the die roll, you get the full result, while not matching nets you the difference of the two values.

So if you had picked 3, you would have gotten 3 points. Kind of like Kadana's Mystique:

This was a trial run of the orignal idea I put up: if you picked a number, and the die rolled the same number, you got that many points.  If it rolled a non-matching number, you got the difference between the two, regardless of which was higher (your choice or the die)

It worked out about how I expected, not many 4s, several 1s and a decent scatter of 2s and 3s.  Well, rather more 3s and fewer 2s than I expected, but such is the randomness of the dice XD

As I said, though, this is a trial run, so next time, if I run this version again, it will be tweaked

OOoooh. I get it. Thanks. For some reason I thought that if you guessed a three and got a four, you'd get three points. I imagined the closer to the number you got, the more points you got. But aha that makes sense XD

So if I guessed one, and the rolled number was a 4, I'd get three points. For some reason, I figured that if you guessed one, you'd get one point no matter what. Ha. Well, this makes more sense. My mind messed that up bad. Sorry. Thank you, though!!

Ya, I picked 4, I rolled 4, I got 4. . other people who picked the correct roll, but it wasnt 4, didnt get as much for picking the correct number. Looks like I was the ONLY one who got 4 points. Im not complaining at all, just looking forward to seeing it run with the math tweak if you do it again.

Oh Im confused.. people who guessed a number 1 away from the actual roll only got 1 point, while people who guessed 2 away got 2? I thought it was supposed to be opposite that? The farther away from your number the actual roll was the less points you got?

After having to actually use the calculator to add all the numbers (see?  head totally not up for complicated matchs O.o), a total of 35 points have been given out this week.  Almost double the normal >.>

Also, I think this week we will try to run the traditional grab.  I am not positive of my plans, as my husband has switched schedules, but I'll keep you all updated.

Thanks, the ones that got switched over seem to be right, but there are 4 that I still am not seeing on my page.

Athena, Aesop, Snicker and Mysty are still missing.

Athena and Aesop I am pretty sure I changed their names when I got them, but it was done on the kennels forums.  Snicker and Mysty I can't remember if I changed their names or not, but I may well have done.  I "think" they were also traded to me on kennels old forums.  Not sure if that helps any though.

are there any little broken image x's on your page?  if you imported them, but they were still under someone else's name, their images would not have been updated in the shiny.  I know the first two at least, had different names, so I wasn't positive about them...

I'll go check though; every once in a while, the ones I switch don't make it over >.<

Edit: I just checked, they are on your page, but have little broken images - Athena was originally Sakari, Aesop was Keelut, and Mysty was Danger... Snicker was Snicker XD
