Dr. Kayesh bustles around thoughtfully.  A lot of people had been getting blobbies lately, but it seemed as though a select few were collecting most of them.  He mostly didn't mind, but from the stage growths he'd seen thus far, it seemed like a good to get some new owners in as well and see how they affected the blobbies.

As such, the scientist put up a nice sign and pictures of a series of blobbies for the perusal of those who did not yet have a blobbie, but might desire one.

Keilin stares at her newfound pet thoughtfully.

"You remind me of your plant-munching buddy over there, little one. Your name is now Fern." She reaches a hand out to pet the blob and re-considers. "On second thought, we'll bond later. I don't want you eating my hand. Also, you eat any of my dice and we'll have words, you hear me?"

Fern makes a squishing noise, possibly in response. Possibly. "Okay, you hear me," she says with a grin.

I ponder the little orange blobbie for a bit, and finally decide to name it Chemed.  "What do you think Chemed, do you like your name?" I ask it.  Chemed bobbles around a bit, but the movement seems more to indicate interest in the other blobbies than any sort of response to the name.  "Oh well, at least if you hated it you'd have spoken up, right?"
