Hello my friends. Here is the June headquarters for all things Gryphion.
If anyone wants to roleplay, discuss breedings, discuss trades, colors, the weather or whatever, feel free. I don't care what you do here. Roleplay is encouraged, and sometimes rewarded when I notice something special or I have prizes lying around.
Have no gryphion? You can roleplay yourself. You can even roleplay yourself if you have gryphions. Hehe.

If you are new to secundi, gryphions, or both, please feel free to jump in! We don't bite, and new people are always welcome. Since it's almost breeding season, I imagine people might be fumbling around looking for mates/feathers/etc.
There will be a few more opportunities to bond with gryphions, and there will be more opportunities to get feathers. Of course, I don't know how many opportunities, since I don't know how much time I have and how soon I want to make breeding season.

Exciting stuffs

As you can probably guess from the last post, or from the title, we have some exciting stuffs. This is a tiny bit of the reason I've been slow to make this thread. I was working on the exciting stuffs for the last week, and um... half of it went poof. Working on re-doing the missing half, but I didn't want to make you guys wait any longer.

By looking up the page at kitten number three in above post, you'll see something different about her. She is wearing a strange glove-type item. These are called Battle Claws. The gryphions are a very intelligent species, and they have many special weapons and tools and items. The battle claws are leathery gloves that can be equipped to a gryphions front paws. The claws are extremely dangerous, and shouldn't be given to just any gryphion.

The battle claw item is beneficial in many ways. The gryphion will be able to catch food easily, and will give him more energy. The gryphion will have a more powerful attack, because these claws are very sharp and will leave pretty nasty scars if the victum survives.
There are downsides, those will be explained over time. A brief telling: The gryphion cannot take the claws off. These ordinary battle claws are not something one can take off and put back on. Also, claws are not really recommended for any gryphion really. The claws are dangerous to the user as well. The user can obviously harm himself by scratches, but it can put a lot of stress on the paws, and thus makes the gryphion slower in the air, and really slow on the ground. The gryphion may be injured by such stress on the paws. It probably won't happen during roleplay, but battle claws are overall not recommended unless for the best fighters and those who know what they are getting into.

There are of course more benefits to them, I just havn't the time to tell about them all.
Standard Claws are legal for all competitions at the moment. If this changes, there will be a notice.

And, indigowulf will receive a gryphion with battle claws also. It will be premade, and a male. I would have it done, but as I mentioned before half of my work went poof. Male claws were that half. It'll happen, no worries

Breeding ...

Yeah... so it kills me inside to utter the word, but I know this'll have to happen.
And yeah, if not now, I'll never get anything done.

Alright. Breeding. I've decided that there will be Breeding Season, that is the official time that gryphions will breed. Gryphions can breed at any time in the year, though. There will be breeding slots opening every so often, similar to how the kennel does it, but there will be a breeding season. Most likely every summer, and maybe a smaller scale one every winter?  Those are unlimited slots.

Breeding is NOT open yet. I'm going to probably open it soon, and it'll last two weeks. Babies will grow as soon as possible, but they might be a little late in growing due to band camp and such things. I'll try my best to make babies grow in as close to one month as possible.

Explinations

I owe everyone an appology for me being busy and finishing things later than planned. I've had a bunch of money issues come up lately, and with that I figure I'll make it official. I've been purposefully been leaving hints here and there as to who I am. I was wondering if anyone had figured it out, and I'm sure many of you did along the way.
I mean, honestly, if you remember I tried to start these on PI way back when I couldn't get a team together that would stick together, so I decided to wait for a while. And that was a few years ago. I'm grateful that Silvanon was kind enough not to take these away since it took me so long to find a way to start them. When I got to secundi, though, I realized this was the time to get them started for real. The community is nice, trusting, and trustworthy. I love it here, and there is not so much chaos and not so much going on. It's nice and peaceful and I knew the gryphions had found their new home.

You may have seen that there was more than just me working gryphions for a while. You all may remember Hunni. She was hired to help color and run events when I couldn't. Hunni told me she was busy, and it would be slow for her for a while. I told her that was fine. I was shocked and a bit upset when I heard that she left secundi. I understand things happen, but her not letting me know really let me down. So, since then I think I've been giving more obvious hints since it's just me.

Well, I am Neocridders. I think I pretty much gave that away in my 'Neo's domain is about to expire, offering gryphions and chopsticks...'
If that was not enough of a giveaway, and people still were clueless, I'll tell you that you'll never be a detective in your life time XD

Well, now that that's out there, I'll be looking again at the council applications and requests sooner than I hoped. I've been trying to go slowly, work into a nice adoptable, but I was hoping Hunni would be helping me with breedings, and if she's not here now, right before breeding time... I may need some help. But, if I can I'll stay solo for a little bit. I like working alone, but an adoptable this size will really need more than just me, especially for what I was planning on having with them, and especially when school starts up again.

Council positions are open, and always everyone can send in requests or PM me. I'll always have that open. Please realize I'm reluctant to hire everyone, or anyone at that. You must have a good reputation, and you must be good at what you're applying for. If you don't know what to apply for, honestly it's anything. You can make up a job if you want, one that no one has ever heard of. Hahaha. There is no set payment, though. You either do it for fun, for gryphions, or for what profit you make off them.


Hmmm... I guess that's about it then. I hope everyone's been well. If anyone is interested in USD anything, let me know. Some things have come up, and as some of you remember, my tablet pen is coming toward it's last hours. I'd like to get a new one, costing about $200. Of which I have about $40 saved so far. I was trying to get a summer job, but I don't know if that's possible now. All the jobs are taken by the bazillion teenagers like myself in need of money.

Anyone interested in a contest?

Gryphions want people to show thier support of gryphions. There are many ways people can do this, but one of my favorites is the siggy banners.

Have any room in your siggy? You should make a banner (size doesn't matter as long as it is not really tall!) to support gryphions. Animation is not a requierment. It does not get you special points if you can or cannot animate. I'll pick my favorites and award feathers to banners (banners, not specific people, so that means you could get more than one if you have a ton of awesome banners you make.)

And, as a little add on to this contest, I'll aware a premade gryphion to one person if I see thier banner outside this thread. I may or may not notice it one time or in one thread, so don't assume I am ignoring you if you don't win. I'll award it to one I find, so it's not the first one I find. Yup.

I want to keep this open till atleast breeding starts. I may give feathers throughout if we get enough entried. So, i'll have more entries throughout the contest, I'll give a few prizes out before it's over.

Raina lands in the very quiet thread and stretches her wings. She seems in no hurry for anything. She looks around to see very few people and no gryphions. A sudden look of shock comes upon her face as she looks around again. Her eyes are wider than before, and she seems surprised.

"Where is everyone? Where are the gryphions? Have they not heard? It's nearly breeding season," she says loudly, but not to anyone directly.

She looks around and wonders aloud, "Don't gryphions usually get excited for things such as breeding season? I don't know... I havn't been around for one before. But the Council said gryphions usually were rather excited during the breeding seasons. I wonder what is going on. Did I hear incorrectly? Where is everyone?"
She seems to work herself up as she continues,
"What if something has happened? What do I do? Should I got tell the council? No, what it's too late. What if nothing's wrong, and I look like a fool for being so worried?"

She considers that. 'Is anything wrong?' she wonders in her head. 'It seems like something's wrong, but would I know if anything was wrong? I'm not old enough to know this... I've never been around for a breeding season before. Maybe I'm too early.'
She nods her head. 'That must be it. I'm too early'.
Although she accepts that she is too early, she paces anxiously.

[Goddesss]

Walking cautiously up to Raina I tell her "Dont worry I have never been around for a breeding season either, but I am sure others will come in time.  I have no gryphions of my won so if it is ok I will sit with you and watch other come."

[Neocridders]

Raina stops pacing and listens to Goddesss.
"Hmm. Thank you." Raina says a bit calmer.
Raina sits down with Goddesss and waits. Raina listens, hopeful for more humans and gryphions to arrive. She knows they'll be here, but she is worried all the same.

[sera]

"All right, all right, I'm sorry!"  Despite the harried words, there's laughter in sera's tone as Fiaell and Caedmon herd her in towards Raina.  Fiaell makes a squeaking sound of happiness and leaves her bonded in the care of Caedmon to gallop up to Raina.  She flares her wings excitedly.  "Hello, hello!" she calls cheerfully. "How are you?  Isn't it a gorgeous day!!!!?"

(Belated sera is belated. xD;  YAY, breedings! x3)

[Ryuukokoro]

With his usual flair, Shaman spiraled out of the air and landed at the edge of the gathering. (Well, perhaps gathering was a bit of a stretch at this point, but it was becoming so.) The snow-white Gryphion often traveled without his human partner, mostly because her first partner, Sea Mist, was the jealous and cranky sort. Ryuu was patient with him, but Shaman himself would prefer to spend time with less snarky characters.

"What's got your feathers ruffled so, Raina?" he asked, trotting up to the female Gryphion. "Did you say breeding season? Ha! Sounds like a time to get excited rather than upset." He winked at her and preened his chest feathers with his beak, not a hint of modesty in the Gryphion anywhere to be found.

[Goddesss]

" Hello sera" I say waving to her.

I wonder where Ryuu is as I am sitting watching these beautiful gryphions and I cant help but give a little giggle at Shaman.

[Neocridders]

As more people and gryphions arrive, Raina's stress lessens. She looks to Goddesss and then to the new arrivals to the thread.
"Welcome everyone!" Raina yells, "I'm happy that you all could make it. I was worried for a moment. She looked toward the male Shaman and couldn't help but snicker at him.

"You're right, it is a time to be excited," she says.

She smiles and nods to Caedmon and says, "Hello! I'm better now that more gryphions and people are arriving."

Raina looks to the sky and agrees, "You are right, it's a gorgeous day! Well, I suppose day is soon to be at end, but it is still day. Look at that sky!"
Her beak points toward the pink and yellow sky. The clouds are fluffy and purple, and the sun is getting lower and is a large ball of orange.

But there are two dark objects in the sky. They seem to be getting closer.
The two objects are more distict as they get closer.
"Hmm, I wonder who those two are." she says.

The objects grow larger as they get closer. They must be going fast! They were so close in only a half a minute.
Two females were decending from the sky into the thread. An albino female lands first, clicking sounds were coming from her beak.


Then a second gryphion lands gracefully next to the other. She seems excited to finally have arrived.


Both the female walk toward the others sit down before them.
The albino female's eyes watch every movement of the gryphions and humans she doesn't know. Her clickings continue.
The other girl swishes her green and white tail. She smiles and tilts her head slightly.

"Hello, welcome!" Raina says.

((Out of context: I will be leaving for dinner. Please continue if you wish to.))

[Ryuukokoro]

"This is ridiculous, there's no reason for me to be coming here," grumbled the dusky green and white male stalking along the path next to the female human.

"Why?" Ryuu asked her companion with a grin, "You don't think ladies will be chasing you this season?"

The deep blue tail thrashed from side to side in unhidden agitation. For now they were walking alone, because if anyone was within hearing distance the Gryphion probably wouldn't have answered his partner, "You can't believe a female would give me a second glance with Shaman and his good looks strutting around." His voice was sour.

Ryuu tipped her head in sympathy, ah, now she understood her friend's reluctance to attend the upcoming breeding season. It was true Shaman was one of the best looking Gryphions Ryuu had ever seen (even if her opinion was a bit biased, since he was her partner). So she could understand why Sea Mist lacked confidence. Especially since the snowy white Gryphion was always the center of attention and he made friends so easily. "Aw Sea Mist, don't say that. You know looks aren't everything." She patted his broad shoulder, but he only snorted doubtfully in response.

They reached the group of others, and Ryuu recognized Goddesss and stepped up to her. "Hey Goddesss, I don't think I've seen you around. Welcome to Gryphion Land." I chuckled.

Sea Mist's ears went flat when he saw Shaman talking to Raina. "He's already here," he grumbled under his breath.

[sera]

Caedmon smiles briefly at Raina and the others; this, apparently, is the entirety of his greeting.  Fiaell wiggles around excitedly as she looks up at the sky. "Yes, so beautiful! We should play tag!"  She looks around playfully and spots a very handsome blue Gryphion speaking with a woman she thinks she might recognize.  But the male is a great deal more interesting than some human.  The autumn-coloured Gryphion darts off and tweaks Sea Mists's tail.  "Tag!" She calls as she gallops past him.  "You're it!"

sera waves to Goddesss, "Hallo!  Glad to see you here!"  She then spots Fiaell 'attacking' another Gryphion-- playfully, of course-- and sees Ryuu beside the blue male.  She waves to Ryuu as well and, with Caedmon as an escort against any roughhousing, makes her way towards the other humans.

[Goddesss]

A little startled by the beautiful females landing near me I see Ryuu coming with a very handsome gryphion.  I giggle at Ryuu's greeting and then tell her "thank you.  I have never been here before but I am amazed by these beautiful creatures."

[Ryuukokoro]

Sea Mist jumped about five inches off the ground as he felt the light touch on his tail, unexpectedly. He quickly turned and saw a deep red female with green and yellow coloring, and just as quickly she was away. He didn't chase after the female immediately.

"Tag?" he said flatly, with some disbelief. "I'm what? What's 'it'?"

Ryuu laughed and gave him a little push (not that he moved, since he was a lot bigger than the human). "It's a game, go chase her and tag her back," she explained to Sea Mist.

The dour green and blue Gryphion gave a look of disbelief. "That sounds like a foolish game," he announced, but he was watching Fiaell with curious (and wary) eyes. After another moment's hesitation he strolled after her, making it a point that he wasn't running and wasn't participating in the silly game. He passed by Caedmon and sera, but didn't give them more than a glance.


Ryuu smiled at sera and waved for her to join herself and Goddesss. "Yeah the Gryphions are amazing, I'll agree with that," Ryuu nodded in response to what Goddesss had just said. "It's breeding season you know, so maybe you'll find yourself a bonded here amongst the kittens, when they arrive." Ryuu then noticed the two females who had arrived, one white and pink, the other green and white. "Or maybe there are some looking for bondeds right now," she added.

[Neocridders]

The females watch the others as they stay close to Raina.
The green and white female makes a whine as she stands up, watching the playful gryphions.
"Of course you can join them!" Raina tells her.

The green and white female smiles at Raina and then turns and rushes after the gryphions playing tag. A green and white male with a blue tail walks after the female, but doesn't seem as excited as the female does.
She makes her way to the male and prances all around him. She bounces up and down many times and then skips ahead slowly. She wants him to tag her. She peeks over her shoulder, hoping he is following after her.

The albino female looks all over toward all the people and all the gryphions. She seems stressed.
"What's wrong?" Raina asked her.
The girl looked back at Raina and waits a moment before she starts to make 'caw'ing noises.
"Well, there's no need to be worried about that. There are many nice humans that would love to bond with a gryphion like yourself. You don't need to get worked up. I bet any of these humans would love to bond with you," Raina tells her.

The gryphion looks to the humans and then to some of the gryphions. The friend she had arrived with was over there playing tag with a couple other gryphions, and other gryphions are over there too.
She sighs. She was afraid she will not be welcome. The albino female takes in a breath and stands up. She walks over to the humans that are gathered on the other side of the thread.

[sera]

Caedmon turns as the albino Gryphion moves toward them and now he's flushing.  He ducks his head slightly, wanting to make eye contact or say hello to the gorgeous creature, but afraid of making a fool of himself. 

Fiaell laughs happily as Sea Mist finally comes after her, but he's sssoooo slow!  "Come on, Lead Butt!" she teases, swishing her tail enticingly.  "Surely you can move faster than that!"  Her attention is captured by the newcomer and she makes a strange screeing sound of excitement.  "Hi, hi!  Come play!"

[jojo]

Jojo hides shyly behind some nearby trees and observes the group of humans and Gryphions. Before coming to Secundi, she knew that she would be coming across creatures of all shapes and sizes, but now that she was seeing such majestic creatures in person, she had to admit she was a little scared.

Taking a deep breath, and realizing she spotted a few familiar faces, she walks over to the groups and waves. "May I join you?" she asks, and giggles as one of the Gryphions taunts another by swishing its tail.

[Neocridders]

The green and white female sees Fiaell and is smiles. She nods her head toward Fiaell and skips to her. She looks back again, hoping the male will follow.

--- The albino female sees a newcomer join the group of humans that she herself was walking toward. The albino female is amazed that the human joined the in group so easily. The gryphion takes a breath and walks a tiny bit faster and a little more confidently toward the group of humans. When she gets there she sits down near them and watches.

[Ryuukokoro]

When a green and white female Gryphion joined Sea Mist and Fiaell, the male couldn't help but smile. He hadn't gotten to play around since he was a kitten himself. It seemed like sort of a waste of time, to him... but being around the pretty females didn't seem like a waste of time, that was for sure! With that thought he got into his role, crouching a bit and flexing his paws. Briefly he closed his eyes, then snapped them open and leaped forward toward Fiaell and the other female with a little squeak of challenge.


Shaman saw the trio of Gryphions playing and he grinned. He didn't have a problem playing with Sea Mist (it was Sea Mist who had a problem with him), and he would have joined in on the fun but then he saw the white female standing with the humans and decided to join them instead.

Shaman strolled with a swish of wings and tail as he walked up to the humans. "Hey ladies," he purred. Then he turned to Caedmon. "Ha, well, almost all ladies." He nudged the other male good-naturedly.

Ryuu rolled her eyes as her bonded tried to play Casanova. Instead of saying something to him, which would just egg him on, she turned to the newcomer with a welcoming smile. "Sure you can join us," Ryuu said. "I'm Ryuu, this is Goddesss and sera. Welcome, I'm sure you'll be happy here, it's a lot of fun."

[indigowulf]

I sit and wait for my ...flock?.. to arrive. Sheena, as usual, comes to me and relaxes, taking in the activity around her. Majesty goes straight to the albino female and begins to strut, pretending it's not for her, even though he is getting as close to her as he can.

(ack, did I not name ID46?) The final grypion to arrive arches his neck proudly and takes carefull steps towards the latest addition, snorting air at him, looking for all the world like he is ready to fight. Perhaps the claws have him nervouse. The new boy bounces on his hind feet a bit, wings spread to help support him, making it clear he would rather play then fight without reason. Churring, the boys begin to roughhouse.

I chuckle to myself at the site of the 3 playing tag.  It looks like so much fun and it is a nice surprise to see Sea Mist loosen up.

The beautiful albino girl has slowly made her way to us.  The males seem to be quite smitten with her, and it is easy to see why.  Even in her shyness she is very graceful.

"Hello jojo, I am glad you decided to join us" I tell her after Ryuu introduces us.

"Hi Indigo, glad you could also join us" I say happily.

[Ryuukokoro]

Ryuu grinned. "Well, this place sure got lively! I'm glad to see humans without bondeds here too."

Shaman glanced over at Sheena. "I'm glad it's not all humans here," he announced with his beak in the air.

[jojo]

Jojo straightens up at the welcome and smiles. "Hi nice to meet you all, I'm Jojo," she says, a little faster than she would have liked, and mentally smacks herself for being awkward.

She laughs at Shaman's remark. "I'm guessing it's breeding season?"

[Ryuukokoro]

Shaman winks one eye at Jojo, turning his head to display his shining pure white feathers and fluffs his brilliant sky blue and yellow mane. "I like this human, she's smart," he chuckled.

[Echowing]

"Running a bit behind but we finally made it!" I laugh. I glance behind me to see Fearchar looking around with interest and standing a bit taller in the sight of females. Oho, I think, so he does care about the ladies. I wonder if its enough to stop his snippy attitude. Walking beside him with a slight smile tweaked on her beak was Helah. She was chuckling at the group of playing gryphions. She glances at me and asks, "You mind if I run over there for a bit?" and starts off because she already knows the answer. She takes her time walking over and hovers on the edge of the group, hoping to get an invitation to play.

"Do you want to play or come with me?" I ask Fearchar, snapping him back into focus. "Hmmph, I'll just follow you I guess. Not like I have anything better to do" he huffs. 'Now mind your manners, there are ladies present" I say glancing over at him. He ruffles a bit and holds his head up a bit more proudly then happens to look down and catch me chortling. He glowers and nudges me toward the group of humans and gryphions.

"Hi everybody!" I say grinning, "We were a bit late but this boy here is Fearchar and the rusty red and orange gal over there is Heleh" I say pointing. Fearchar had already wandered to the edge of the group. He looked up when I said his name and gave a polite nod then flopped to ground and assumed a relaxed position.

I lean in to the main group so Fearchar can't hear and say, "Don't worry, he thinks he's a tough guy but he's a sweetie on the inside."

Raina smiles to herself. Looks like everything is working out. She walks quietly to the group of people and gryphions and takes a seat near the edge. She looks around to see that some gryphions and people had arrived that she didn't notice. She sees the albino female on the other side of the group. The female looks to her, scared. Raina nods back with a smile.

The albino female sees another gryphion, a male, strut up to her. He seems to not notice her, but he is extremely close. She doesn't know what he is doing that for. Maybe for breeding season? Oh, she forgot about that. The albino female gasps in surprise. She had be so worried about veing welcomed that she didn't even consider that she might be breeding this season. But the girl wonders to herself if she will be able to bond to someone before breeding season? Is that how it works? Finding someone to bond with first, then finding a mate? Oh, this was too much for her to worry about. She was about to break down from the stress. She thinks for moments, though to her it seems like ages.
Oh, hello the gryphion tries to say a low chirp. (**Gryphions do not speak English until bonded. Gryphions will always understand English if they are not kittens. Kittens are light children and sometimes don't know everything, and are learning constantly. This may be difficult for me for communication purposes, so I'll be putting what it would be interpretted as in english in the italics. If that makes sense...)

The white and green female sees that the male followed her and Fiaell. The male seems to be slow for a moment, and the green and white female is discouraged. However, the male then suddenly dashes toward both of the girls and tries to tag them.
The white and green female runs forward with a grin on her face.

((Hey, those are great banners! Thanks for making them! They look great. I imagine a feather should arrive in your inventory soon.

Also, I know there are two new girls that many of the guys are interested, and they are able to roleplay with anyone, the point of the roleplay is hopefully to get gryphions to those without gryphions and find mates amoung other users with bonded gryphions of the other gender. Roleplaying is fine, and it's fun, and if you want to go after the girls be my guest, but I am hoping to bring in more gryphions soon and I just want to let you guys know that they are here for breeding season, but hopefully if a boy is interested for example in one of the girls, you'll understand that it will be the new bonded partner's choice. And, of course the gryphions may bond with their mate's bond, or they may bond with someone else. I just want to let everyone know. I'd love to see some gryphions that are interested in breeding find other gryphions that are interested in breeding that are bonded to someone else, that'd be fun. But again, it's up to you guys and that's fine with me. Just have fun!
I hope everyone is having fun. I imagine some more gryphions shall be arriving that have no bonds. Some boys will be in that bunch too, if any ladies are still single. Hehe))

Sheena puts herself between Majesty and the albino, shouldering him a bit to make him give her space. He flattens his ears and swishes his tail in annoyance. She clacks her beak at him, and he finally gives in, bowing his head a bit. Finally, he makes eye contact with this pretty white girl, and gives her a soft friendly chirp.

Once Sheena is satisfied that he is no longer intimidating her with his antics, she backs off, but spreads her wings over the albino for a moment in an almost maternal manner, suggesting that she will "rescue her" should the boys get out of line again. She gestures back over towards her bonded, showing where she will be if the albino wants to come visit.

((I dont like having mine speak english unless they absolutely have to. I consider it thier "2nd language" over the body language they learned as kittens ))

Sea Mist began to get into the game of tag, chasing the two females around the clearing. He reached out one large paw and gave the green and white female a big enough swipe to almost send her tumbling.

The big male slid to a halt, staring at her anxiously. "Ah! Apologies, m-miss, er!" he stuttered. "Are you all right!?"

Shaman leaned over to Sheena when she was done separating the white girl from the purple male. Shaman ruffled his wing feathers. "Well hellooo there," he said, "Fancy meeting you in a place like this with breeding season coming." He bounced his ear feathers up and down in a charming manner.

Caedmon shoots a glance towards Shaman, ruffling up his feathers briefly before forcing them to smooth back down.  He's not pleased to be in the company of so many males all of a sudden, especially when they all seem so incredibly interested in the beautiful albino.  He sighs, unhappy to find himself lacking compared to certain other Gryphions in the area. 

sera glances towards him and places a hand gently on his shoulder.  Though Fiaell and Caedmon both lived with her, they certainly weren't interested in each other in a romantic way, as it were.  "It will be fine," she whispers softly.  "Go say hello.  I think she would like some company."

He glances down at the humn and gives a single, swift nod, though he's still uncertain.  He moves closer and awkwardly bobs his head 'hello'.  "I am Caedmon," he says quietly.  "I hope you are well?"

More playmates!!! Fiaell is nearly ecstatic, chasing into a group to tag someone else-- even though she wasn't technically it-- and likely starting a whole group of 'it's.

[Neocridders]

The green and white female tumbles over from the impact of Sea Mist. The male asks her if she is alright. She looks up at him and gives him a sad face. She gives a sniff, as if she were hurt. Then, about to give herself away by laughing, she touches him with her paw and then runs in a new direction. She bursts into laugher and her paces slows. She drops to the floor and rolls around, laughing. She is rolling on the floor laughing. She looks over to Fiaell, who is running back toward the male.

The albino female smiles and nods to Sheena. Sheena really gave her comfort. She watches her walk back to be with indigo, and then the albino female realises that there was another boy now. The male that Sheena separated her from, Majesty, and then Shaman, a white male, started to talk to her. She tries her best to smile a both, but the smile comes out looking unnatural.
Another male then comes to her. She is surrounded by boys. Caedmon introduces himself to her, and she nods and makes a low chirping noise.
So many boys. This was not what she had planned. She stands up and stretches her wings, trying to make a bit of room for herself. She looks around, hoping not to find any more males walking her way. She saw some other gryphions, but no males coming her way. Not knowing what she is doing, she decides to sit back down.


((And, just in case sera wants to know, Neo is making kittens for you now. Neo decided to go ahead and make adult images now, just because stripes and stuff like that will be easier to make all at once on adults and kittens. So it may take a little bit. Sorry for the wait!))

[jojo]

She observes Shaman bouncing his ear feathers up at the pretty Gryphion female -- the one that so bravely made some of the males back off a little from the shy albino Gryphion -- and laughs, shaking her head a little. "He's quite the charmer," she says to Ryuu.

From the corner of her eye, she watches the albino female sit down. She seemed a little distressed because of all the males surrounding her. Jojo tilts her head to the side in concern, wondering if there was anything she could do for the female, but feeling somewhat helpless.

"Uh.. miss!" Jojo calls out, waving her hand a little at the albino gryphion. Now aware of how quiet her voice is, she speaks a tiny bit louder. "Can I... um... talk to you?" A dumb question, but Jojo figures if the female wanted an excuse to remove herself from the group, there it was.

The female hears someone calling for her. She sees Jojo. She she stands up and walks over to the human. She is relieved. The reason she was there was not for breeding. She wanted to see humans and bond with someone. But with all those males and their hormones, there wasn't many chances to escape. She gets to Jojo and has a thank you in her eyes. The albino female smiles and churrs (similar to how a cat purrs).

Seeing the albino female walk over to her in such relief, Jojo smiles widely, glad that she could help out. "Boys!" Jojo exclaims, shaking her head.

"It seems like you're new here... Me too! It's always a little nervewracking when you want to get to know a lot of new people," she says to her, but almost speaking out loud to herself as well. Jojo sits down on a nearby rock and places her elbows on her legs, propping her head up with her hands. "I've only been here a little while, but everyone is really welcoming and nice. So don't worry."

Jojo listens to the albino gyphion's churring. She reaches out to touch her feathers, but then thinks better of it. "I don't know much about gryphions... may I touch your feathers? They just look so soft." Jojo brings up her shoulders apologetically, hoping she didn't offend the female.

Majesty watches the pretty albino girl go over to Jojo, and bounces to follow her. Finally fed up with his tactics, Sheena charges him with her shoulder, blocking him from getting any closer. He tries to slip past, and Sheena clacks her beak at him, ears pinned back.

Finally, Majesty gets the message. He lays down on the ground, paws in front of him, head on paws, and gives Jojo and the albino girl the saddest puppy dog eyes he can muster. He seems to really be interested in mating with this female, and at last willing to take no for an answer.

Already up, Sheena gives Majesty a last warning look, and trots over to the game of tag going on, intent on tripping up whoever is "it" and getting chased as well.

The 2 boys stop roughhousing, realizing that they are not getting any female attention. They both shake dirt and grass off thier coats. Together, they begin to stroll the grounds, looking for any interaction they can slide into. It looks like what could have started as a fight has become a fast-forming bond between them.

The albino female listens to Jojo. She asked to touch her feathers. Typically, in a gryphion point of view, it is considered very rude to touch a gryphion as if they are an animal, unless the two are on a very close level. But the female gryphion wasn't really sure what she was doing. Without thinking, she presses the top of her head to Jojo's hand. She smiles.

[jojo]

((ooc: bah, I should have listened to my suspicions! sorry Neo, for fudging with gryphion social boundaries :x))

Jojo perks up as the albino female's feathers brush against her palm. She smiles happily back, glad that such a great creature is letting her get so close to it.

"Wow, I'm silly," Jojo says suddenly says out loud. She removes her hand and places it back in her lap, then looks at the albino female. "I've forgotten to introduce myself to you! My name is Jojo."

Jojo then looks over at the frolicking griffons. "If we want to get to know people, maybe we should get involved in some of these activities. What do you think -- how do you think I'd fare in some gryphion tag?" She observes the large creatures tackle each other one more time because they stop roughhousing. Of course, she'd probably get crushed. Trying to hold back a laugh, Jojo turns back to the female gryphion to see what her opinion is.
