I grew up collecting the G1s, so I have a special attachment to them.

But my favorites include Glory, Moondancer, Firefly, Gusty, Mimic, Sunspot, most of the Twice and Fancys (especially Love Melody, Night Glider, and Sugarberry), all of the Merry Go Rounds... heh, that was a fun trip down memory lane. I have more, but I don't want to overwhelm the thread. =)

I also had a special love for the Flutters, since I always thought they were some of the prettiest ponies. When they still had their wings anyway! XD It was the main reason I collected them back on PI.

aww I have to say, they look MUCH better as Pecora then as the actual ponies.  I think it was the little ponies themselves that always creeped me out.  I dunno why, I guess I'm just very very odd lol

@Keilin; I love them too! I really adore flutters. My fave from the flutters it's defenitely Rosedust. I looove Rosedust. Second fave flutter would be Wind Drifter. I like the Summer and Windy Wing ponies too. Faves from baby G1s would be Baby Quackers and Baby Tic-Tac-Toe. Also like TAF, but mostly for the designs (Sugarberry and Dancing Butterflies are awesome, especially the babies). Second TAF had better designs I think, but it lacked babies G1 baby poses are so cute. Especially the twin poses from ponies like Nibbles or Tattles. And the Teeny Tiny poses <3

I grew up with G2s so I love them. I never got my hands on a baby G2, but I adore them. I dunno why people think G2s are creepy. My faves from growing up were Satin Splash, Princess Crystal and Ivy II (from the Beauty Parlor). I can't really pick faves now, but I have great memories of those 3. Dainty Dove became loved when I started collecting, I never got her as a kid but always wanted her. G2s will always be my faves, I love them all <3

Edit2 because I took ages to reply: Oooh lovely ponies! And Keilin I grew up with G2s, but I am familiar with all generations. G3 was just the only generation I could immediately name just one favorite without having to debate for an hour XD But now that I think about it I think for G1 I would pick Baby Quackers if I absolutely had to pick.

Kadana: Might be a bit similar to how some people are freaked out by stuffed animals and dolls. They're meant to be colorful and cheerful, but they just stare at you: cold, unmoving and unblinking. Not to mention they don't quite resemble ponies well enough, with the unrealistic cutesy poses. They're like marshmallow peeps in a way.

Not to mention there's only like... a dozen males to hundreds and hundreds of females. That right there is all kinds of scary. XD

Speaking of male ponies, I was trying to think of the perfect male pony, since there are so many females, and I just remembered him. Ice Crystal! From the UK exclusive Mountain Boys. He had such gorgeous colors. =)

He'd hate me for saying this, but my husband loves baby ponies as well, the tinier and cuter the better. One Christmas I bought him two of the Teeny Tiny babies (Little Tabby and Little Honey Pie) and he still has them displayed in his office. He also claimed a chewed-on(!) Baby Noodles from my custom bait box before I could figure out how to repair him.

Granted, I have Dangles from the Newborn Babies set displayed on my desk, and Baby Glory was my absolute favorite pony for years growing up, so I completely understand where you're coming from. Babies are cute. =)

I love many ponies, but Waterfire is one of those ones that jumps out at me and screams special.
Plus she has the same colors as my local hockey team and even shares part of their symbol, so much love for waterfire

Oh!  An idea for future Toffeeca.. perhaps pet mimics?  (like, kennel dog mimics etc)  I think some of the doggies I've seen would look wonderful as Pecora.

Aww, I can just imagine poor Toffee trying to duplicate Summer Rain's curly coat. I suppose there might have to be limits there. XD Some of the Air~Fish and Gidgets I've seen would make spectacular mimics though.

Though at first I thought you meant real world pets. I have a certain pair of squeaky cats who'd make interesting Pecora. =)

lol usually when I get pet mimics done, the fur/coat texture etc isn't mimic'd, just the colors/markings.  So if I remember your Summer Rain rightly, she shouldn't be that difficult.

Though, I could be remembering a different doggie lol there are just so many hehe

Aww, pretty seal point boy. Sorry to hear about his passing, but he has a lovely in-game likeness. 

And sorry to be nosy, but did the real Mocha have light blue eyes, PM? Almost every Siamese and Siamese mix (unless they're Tonks) I've met has had sapphire blue eyes, it's practically a signature of the breed. Light blue would have been really striking. =)

They were alwasy a lighter blue then any siamese I met.  They still had the sapphire look but light, and he was a pure seal point
he was also fairly light for a siamese, but I think that was becasue I remember him in his older years more
