Ryuu feels like celebrating some of the great movies that have come out lately. Truly the beginning of summer when the big blockbusters start showing up in theaters! Today we have two Okibis that dolled themselves up after seeing Burton's Alice in Wonderland.

Always a hoot in any Alice adaptation, it's the Cheshire Cat! Called Chessur in Burton's film, he pops up whenever he feels like it, floats around, provides the March Hare a dubious hiding place, and randomly springs good guys out of jail . . . in exchange for a chance to wear a sweet hat. X3
The Okibi Chessur will pass his little smirking grin to his offspring.

Never described by the author of the books, the Bandersnatch nonetheless was known to be a frightful fellow, and the Burton movie's design certainly conveyed that! But he mellowed out by the end and I loved every moment we got to see him on the screen.
The Okibi Bander will pass his Sabertooth mutation to his offspring.

Don't blame it on the baby I have seen transformers 2, Twilight 2, Alvin and the Chipmunks 2 and a few others since the baby was born last may.  Just got to go to matanees, whe the sound is down and there are less people

I took both my girls within the first 2 months.  it is easiest to take them when you nurse as they stay calmer, and quiet and maybe even sleep.  The baby was a little bit of a pain when we went to twilight, but more ot less she just made noises to show her dipleasure of not being able to look around and see people

My favorite character has to be the mock turtle.

I've had a bunch of Alice stuff in jy life. In the 5th grade, the 5th grade held a play (as fifth grade always does) and it was 'Alice in Wonderland'. It was a play based on the trial held in the queen's court. I was the Tiger Lilly.
Then in 8th grade we had a poetry project. I, of course, chose Lewis Carrol. I was currently reading alice in wonderland, and when I needed a name for the report, I decided  it should be called the Mock Turtle's story. And my friends and I make Alice references all the time from way back when in fifth grade. I have always always always loved the disney movie. And the Tim Burtom came out with his masterpiece... Ahh loved it!!

Hehe. Just needed to share.

i'm greatly enjoying them.  ^^  i actually adored the first one, and i just liked Seeing Redd. xD;  The author is really going the whole nine yards with the series, though, which is something i can respect and be amused by at the same time.  xD  i didn't like the manga as much, even though Hatter Madigan is definitely my favourite character. ^^

Bill actually shows up in the first book to help Alice get out of a house she is stuck in. One of those lesser known characters that doesn't make it into most of the movie adaptations.
