((OOC: The main part of this thread is a little questionaire. This idea was made by TheCattery, and I am using it because it was a fantastic idea, and I want to get more gryphions out there so more people can roleplay with us. If TheCattery workers are upset with my using their idea, please PM me. I'm not trying to steal ideas. I am crediting you, and I do think the idea is wonderful. I hope you are not upset with my using it.))

"Hello, there. My name is Raina. Gryphions and humans go back many, many years. Thousands of years ago on the home world, humans and Gryphions lived in peace. They were symbiotic, both humans and gryphions benefited and prospered from the other. Until a war broke out amoung both species, eventually it became against each other. The fight lasted many years. Eventually, with neither side ever winning, the gryphions hid their land so no human would ever stumble across it again. The bonding stopped, all ties were broken, and feelings were bitter."

"The Gryphions moved to secundi not too long ago, hoping to find new resources. A few weeks ago, humans stumbled across their territory while exploring. The gryphion council decided that since these humans were not involved with the happenings of long ago, bonding would be permissible. So, here we are, a few gryphions have stepped out to get things going, since many gryphions are still bitter about before. Since gryphions don't die naturally, there are still a few from the days of war on their old home world."

Raina looks at all the humans in thread and smiles.
"And that brings me here. I was sent from the council to help in all things bonding. I am introducing gryphions to humans, a few at a time. Hopefully we can get this wonderful relationship back to how it was many, many years ago"




"Today I have a questionaire. If you fill it out and post it in the time permitted, a gryphion with similar interests might be able to find its way to you to bond.

Gryphions will be revealed all at once, so no one's interests are changed by the resulting gryphions.

Important information will be posted here so everyone knows exactly how things will be run. I will explain to the best of my ability.

Alright, first up: Trading Gryphions. If you are tired of your gryphion partner, you may ask the council to break the bond. It is possible by buying from the council a special quill. This quill cancels all bondage the human and gryphion previously had. If you somehow end up with the gryphion again some day, you will be able to make a new bond.
The quill to break a bond costs sg, and the price will be deturminded at a later time.

Next, Bonded Folders: You may or may not have noticed that gryphions don't have certs right now. This is not my own laziness of not wanting to cert them. I plan for the gryphions to be an agency some day, and most agencies do not have certs. I feel it will be a smoother transition to becoming an agency. I doubt agencies will be available any time soon, so I have made a special bonded folder. It has each human's username and then an album for their bonded gryphions.
If you want to complain or present concerns, my message box is always open. Feel free to rant or suggest or complain or show concern for anything. I'll hear what you have to say. It won't hurt my feelings.

And five special gryphions decend from the sky, one by one, and walk to their new partners.

If anyone is not happy with the gryphion they summoned, you can try to trade your gryphion partners with someone else. They are not quite bonded yet, so no item will be needed. I'll let you trade if anyone is unhappy with what they got.
I'm sorry, I messed up one part of the questionaire, and a few things seemed to not occur to me. I do hope you like what you get, anyway.

If none of them are the gryphion for you, trading is permitted for other adoptables to other users. I am sure a gryphion would rather be with someone who apprichiates it the most, so if someone does not fancy that particular gryphion, then feel free to find someone who does.

A large, green male lands infront of Ryuu. He smiles as he looks into her eyes.



A red and rusty orange female lands infront of Echowing, churring with delight.



A red, green, and yellow girl stops her walking infront of the one called Sera. She closes her eyes and has a large grin on her face.


A bright orange boy lands before Saiki. He lets out a screech and sits down infront of her.



A black and white male lands, but has a worried look on his face. He looks toward all the humans in search of someone... and finally sees his new friend, Kadana, right infront of him. He lets out a sigh of relief as he walks on up to her.




And that is the first half. The next half will hopefully come tomorrow.

Sorrym if you did not post your questionaire in the first 10, you must have missed the time limit. I only used those who made it before midnight, and there were 10 who did.

Ryuu bows lightly to the large male, a simple bob of the head. "Pleasure to meet you," she says. "Might I know your name, so that we may become better acquainted?" She tips her head for a moment as if listening. Her eyes never leave his. "Oh I see, Sea Mist," she murmurs after a moment. "That does suit you."

[Echowing]

I lean back as the female flies in toward me. Wow, is she pretty! I step forward with a huge grin on my face and laugh excitedly. "Whats your name?" I ask. Her voice comes out smooth and quiet, "Helah, Hebrew for rust..." she answers. "A very good name. It fits you, no doubt about that." I reply. She smiles sweetly and I laugh pleasantly and say "I think we'll be wonderful partners, thank you so much for willing to bond with me."

The colours of autumn glide gracefully from the sky, and a mischievous grin greets sera, a smile that is quickly returned as the good-nature of the female gryphion easily makes itself known even through sera's innate shields.

"Well, hello," sera laughs offering a hand out to the creature.  "It's a pleasure to make your acquaintance."  There's a pause of waiting, a moment of expectancy as they test each other's knowledge of their connection.

"Fiaell, that is a beautiful name," sera responds with a smile. 

Fiaell answers with the same as she puffs out her feathers playfully, then eyes the other gryphions around them and debates tweaking someone's tail.

[Kadana Sorano]

*watches all the gryphions fly in and land, one by one seeking out their new friends and smiles at all the pretty colors and patterns as each pass her by.  Turning her head back at a soft flutter of fathers she looks up into the eyes of a male gryphion, breath catching as she takes in his dark beauty.*  Oh!  What a lovely boy!  *slowly she reaches a hand out to caress his mane*  I am so happy to meet you Pakur!

I feel that friendship is important. Just look at humans and gryphions: that bond of friendship is very important, or else none of this would be happening!

I have with me three gryphions that are looking for friendly people to bond with. Maybe you could suggest and friends of yours looking to bond? These gryphions need to know for sure they are friendly humans, so we need your recommendation!

If you have a friend here on secundi, please post their name and what your friend means to you. Post a paragraph of why they are your friend or why you want them to be gifted a gryphion.

Pou is probably one of the most friendly people ive ever encounterd, shes also giving and caring. Such a sweetheart! Pou deserves one of these gryphions friendship, because well she has so much of her own to give. Pou has never once been angry or short ended with me. Shes never said a bad word, or even let one cross her mind! I wish i could be more like her, her patience with me and others is just amazing. So you gryphions looking for someone whos uber friendly...shes your gal!

Kasatsu!

Kasatsu is one of the best friends i've ever had; she's sweet and kind with a very generous heart and spirit.  If i hadn't met her in Japan, i very well might have gone crazy.  She and her family 'adopted' me during a very difficult period in my life and i've had to rely heavily on her from time to time in the past.  She's always remained close and willing to help out in any way she could.  ^^  <3

Lookky is of course my obvious choice here. The one person I know in real life and brought to secundi. He's my boyfriend but also a great friend. He's always there when I need him, I can laugh with him, I can cry with him, he always supports me and he's just a big part of my life. And of course he's sweet and handsome and funny <3 He also deserves a Gryphion because I know he really admires them and would love to bond with one. He has limited online access though, so his chances of getting one without my help are pretty slim. I hope he will get one, even though he might not roleplay with it much (he's still getting used to secundi). After all the great things he has done for me in real life I try to give a little back this way

Coolduff

My friend coolduff has helped me out during financial hardtimes. As roommate, he's covered nearly a year of rent and bills without asking me for a penny since I got laid off. He plays silly online games with me, and is a fun person to be around. He tries hard to be understanding and supportive. We've had ups and downs like any friends do, but he's there for me. Also, he is letting me use his old computer for checking Secundi and running my adoptables

"I've known Runi for several years in real life, she's been awesome all that time," I begin. "We first met about nine or ten years ago, although neither of us remembers it." I pause.

"So... you want to know what Runi means to me. Hmm."

"Well, Runi is a human who loves her cat, horses, and the color purple. She's slightly crazy, but not as crazy as me." I laugh, using my most insane cackle. "She sometimes flies slightly off the handle, but this pales in comparison to her kindness and generosity. I could go on and on about all the times she's been kind to me, but the list would stretch to the horizon and I would probably bore you to death. Runi was one of the few people who still talked to me after I didn't go to the same school, and I'm thankful for that."

"I think Runi deserves to befriend a Gryphion because she's a really loyal friend, and that's exactly what a Gryphion needs, right?" I say. "I also know that she loves Gryphions, and I think that being able to bond with a Gryphion would make her very happy. And for once, I'd like to do something nice for her."

The gryphions in this thread are not bonded until you name them, so if you feel one is not for you, please do trade it for a different gryphion or a different adoptable. I want the gryphions to feel recipricated love.


Here we go

A rose-red male growls a bit. He does not seem to like that other gryphions are around at this same time finding partners so close to where he is. He walks speedily to Rosewood. He sits down behind her with mean eyes toward the other gryphions.


A bright, yellow fellow comes bouncing up to Hunni. He churrs and smiles at his new friend.


A blue and purple painted male walks up to Red_uni. He sniffs her a bit, and when he dicides she is safe, he smiles at her.


The only girl in the bunch looks around and finds her new friend, springacres, and walks to meet her.


A final gryphion walks up to his new partner, Spixy. He looks into her eyes and smiles.

Hunni, since it is impossible to force people to roleplay if they don't want to, and since real life comes first and not everyone has time to roleplay, roleplaying is NOT manditory.
There will be breeding soon, and that would be insane trying to keep more than a few gryphion personas in order, and with breeding you may have two parents and multiple younglings! I'd never make anyone roleplay every gryphion they have bonded to. That would be unfair.

You can keep collecting, and keep them as normal adoptables, or just as friends that are roleplayed in your mind, but not in writing. You don't need to roleplay them all, or you could. It's your choice.

I don't want to scare anyone away from this adoptable thinking roleplay is necessary. It is just something fun and additional, and it is encouraged but not required.

It would be helpful so I could see what zones I forgot about. I was planning to do some in the morning on weekends, when I don't have school, and then some events in the afternoons after school. But I don't know what times are best for some people. Can everyone post what hours of the day they have school/work/sleep?
Just interested in when people are online the most, so I can try to make things work for everybody.
