The Okibi Caballi -- Okibi for short -- have come to Secundi! This breed of charming, simple Ponies will easily win a place in your heart. Brightly colored, highly collectible, tradeable, and breedable, there's plenty to do with this shop when we're not on hiatus because Ryuu is moving across the country. During our last holiday event we gave out 69 customs and over 100 breeding items. Imagine what we have up our sleeves next!

Okibi Shop Overview

Species
-There are currently two species of Okibi, Normal and Mountain (see the website for examples)
-An individual from either species can be transformed into Elder form with a special item
-The newest species is on its way, whoo!

S-genes
-Any s-gene you find on PI you can find in the Okibi! (Note: Stocking/Faded is the same s-gene)
-The Okibi are a bit more creative than PI Ponies. Want to order rainbow ZZ? Give it a try!
-There are no 'slots' on the Okibi. You can have visible Socks and Stockings at the same time!
-Currently there is only one Dapples gene, which may be split into H and L later

Mutations
-Okibi mutations are Uni Horn, Peg Wings, and Glow
-Mutations pass with a 50/50 chance to offspring (if both parents have it, it will be 100%)
-like with PI winged unicorns, if one parent has Uni Horn and one has Peg Wings, there's a 20% chance the offspring will have both

Trading
-Okibi and items are tradable with each other, other adoptables, or site currency
-Nothing from the shop is tradeable for USD
-To trade items or Okibi, both parties need to send a pm to Ryuukokoro, here or on PI

Breeding
-There is no breeding season for the Okibi, breeding is open at any time
-Breeding follows most PI rules
-Foxfire breeding items are needed
-For more info, see the breeding section below

Flea Market
-Occasionally the Okibi Flea Market will open and tattoos, wearable items, and Dachi will be for sale
-Tattoos are made for the Normal Okibi but most can be worn by the Mountain Okibi as well
-Items are specifically for Normal Okibi only at this time
-Dachi are little friends for the Okibi who have their own cert



Okibi Breeding

Basic Info
-Okibi Caballi have no breeding season, breeding is open at any time!
-To breed, two Okibi approach a magical Foxfire and a part of each Okibi is taken to be combined into a new foal
-Foal image is replaced with adult image about 20 days after the foal arrives
-Normal Foxfire is needed to breed two Okibi, and other Foxfires can be added to change the outcome of the foal
-S-genes for Okibi are passed like PI Ponies. If both parents have the s-gene visible it will be visible on the offspring for sure, and if both parents carry it it might be visible on the offspring. If only one parent has the gene the baby will not have it visible.
-Exception: Unique Markings always pass to offspring in some way!
-If you use another person's Okibi in a breeding, they need to post giving their permission

Foxfires
(For image examples, see the website)
-Normal Foxfire: needed to breed any Okibi
-Yellow Foxfire: allows two males or two females to breed instead of one of each gender
-Blue Foxfire: will ensure a male offspring (if twin item used, both will be male)
-Pink Foxfire: will ensure a female offspring (if twin item used, both will be female)
-Purple Foxfire: will ensure non-identical twin offspring
-Black Foxfire: a foxfire for s-genes, will give offspring a brand new s-gene independent of parents or make a carried s-gene visible
-Green Foxfire: (not used in breeding, see below)

Slow Paced Franken

Until this thread is officially closed, a slow-paced Franken-Okibi game will be running. Everyone can post this form once. Every nine forms will generate a random Okibi, which will then be given to one of the nine people who posted the forms!

Green Foxfire Event!

The green Foxfires are tricky creatures! Unlike most Foxfires, they are not truly a breeding item. Instead of taking the aspects of two existing parents to make a new offspring, the green Foxfire can peer into your mind and take two imaginary 'dream' parents and concoct a completely new foal! (In other words, the Green Foxfire works just like the PI Generator)

For this event: There are three Green Foxfires looking for new homes! Post a non-hotlinked image with green in it to try to convince them that you are the one they should be going with. They will choose three winners on Sept. 23 1:00:00

Okibi Item Raffle

Okay, so what is this item raffle? Well Ryuu has noticed that there are a TON of breeding items (and other items) out there sitting in people's owner folders. This makes Ryuu very nervous. >.> Someday I expect a deluge of breeding requests to hit me like some sort of tsunami and carry me away. XD The answer? An item raffle contest!

So how does it work? Well to get a ticket in this raffle, you have to trade in an item currently in your owner folder. I will be providing a list of everyone who has items in the next post. Every 1 item = 1 raffle ticket, just post in this thread with a list of each breeding item of yours you'd like to trade in for a ticket. If someone who has items wants to offer them in trade to people who don't have any items, that's fine with me, just make sure negotiations take place in the appropriate forum!

Note: Because so many Okibi fans did not follow us to Secundi, a mirror image of this raffle will also be held on PI. However the prizes will be completely separate. So those who are both here and on PI, please choose which raffle you plan to enter, since they are different raffles.

With the green fox fires, are we limited to the colors used in the PI gen or can we put in other RGB/hex codes?

The Green Foxfires do allow colors other than just those found in the PI gen! However they do not like being tricked, so it is not advisable to try to put in something like 000|000|000 for the mother and 005|005|005 for the father to try to force them to give you a black baby. If they think you're taking away their ability to be creative, they might do something unpleasant. >.>;;

The Okibi are fox-like Ponies. They have fox tails instead of horse tails, so the fur tail is the same color as the body fur, usually.
