Hi all! Welcome to the trial breeding season for Starlight Tavern.

Everyone has until July 10th 11th EOD Secundi time to submit one match. A match is both a sire and a dam. With regards to older cats who do not have their description updated (agency description will start with something besides "M " or "F ") - using them in a breeding will update their description and clear any parentage. Markings and colors in the description may change. To avoid surprises, please update them here before posting a match with them.

Cats are very territorial and must acclimate to each other for a successful breeding to take place. Because of this, any cat being bred (including males) can only be bred once each season.

A match results in a litter of 2-3 kittens. Kittens no longer have their own lineart and exist as descriptions. Kittens will be kept in The Nursery, where they will stay until they are grown. The Nursery is also where they can be officially traded.

If using a cat from someone else, they MUST post permission somewhere public on Secundi before you can post a breeding with their cat. If you are borrowing an older cat that hasn't been updated yet, the post must also acknowledge that they are aware that their cat will lose any parentage information and potentially change color/markings.

Please do not edit your post containing the match form. If you made a mistake or wish to change your plans, please delete your form and repost.

After the match submission period is over, everyone has until July 24th 27th EOD Secundi time to submit one kitten for growing. Remaining kittens stay in the nursery and can be grown during future breeding seasons.

Quick question. Ok. So I submitted to have my cats pedigrees updated. And now I think they're all wild. I think all my bobs are related. If I bred a formally related pair(I.e. parent with child, sibling with sibling) , will that be ok? I don't remember who was related to whom anymore.

They are all Wild on purpose, so breed away!

((For those curious about the reset lineage: all old genetic strings are lost, so cats needed new strings. The new code can generate an accurate possible string based on coat description, but it couldn't take genetics from previous parents into account without creating a ton of manual extra work.))
