New vs old yes? I must say i like the first verison whatever it is, more detail and realism

shading differences? I would say the bottom one I like better than the top, because the colors seem more clear and the highlights are subtler and warmer, if that's the right word.

I like both versions of shading >.> Umm... I guess I like #1 best in the red color scheme, but the highlights might be too "much" for darker shades?

I love the first one, however i do see what people are saying the highlights may be a little odd on a darker horse, so if the highlights could be toned down id go with one, if not then for sure the secound.

First one is template shaded. But I've found a LOT of people order pure colors like cyan and magenta, and those do not shade well. So I'm playing with templates as a back up.

I still think nothing hits the highlights in my anime flair-ish way like the lighten brush though XD
